Just as an update: your shop had done extensive body work to our 2009 Malibu almost 6 and 1/2…read more years ago when a Grand Blanc school bus (empty) made a fast and sweeping left-hand turn onto a residential street and took out the front end of our Malibu where my wife had been waiting for traffic to clear so she could turn onto the street the bus was leaving. She sat in the car petrified, like someone on the Titanic watching that gigantic iceberg go by, as the bus crunched across the entire front end of the car and began climbing up the front-left side of her just year old vehicle (first new vehicle we had bought in 30 years). That bus took out the right and left fenders, headlamps, right and left rocker panels, bumper and grille, left wheel and tire, grille and numerous suspension parts, not to mention the radiator and a few other parts behind the radiator. Fortunately, the powertrain was not damaged but $7300 in damage was done or 38% of what we had bought the car for just a little better than a year earlier. Everyone at the shop was more than nice to my wife making sure she was OK and getting her set up in a loaner car because it was going to take several weeks to get her car repaired. But I wanted to let you know that here we are 6 and 1/2 years and almost 80,000 miles later and the car still looks and runs great, getting 32 to 34 mpg on the highway. There's been no abnormal rust appear anywhere around the front end of the car and all parts are still holding together well. If anything, the only thing I found after getting the car back was that the gap between the left-side fender and the hood on the top side of the car was a little wider than on the right side of the car. But no one even notices that unless I point it out to them....a plus because all other points of the fender match up to where they are supposed to be. Also, the service obtained, left front wheel must have come from a different supplier than the originals because after just 2 years the clear-coat began lifting up off the parent metal of the wheel allowing the underlying aluminum to become slightly corroded (minor annoyance) while all the other OEM wheels still look good even after 108,000 miles. So, in conclusion, CONGRATULATIONS, for an excellent job in rebuilding this vehicle 6 and 1/2 yrs ago as time has now proven. From its condition at that time I didn't think I wanted to keep it, but have now decided that it needs to stay in the family for a much longer period of time. Hopefully, the work you continue to do on any other vehicle coming in will be done with just as much care as must have been taken with mine.

Took my car there for an estimate because I heard they are quality, professional...best body shop…read morearound. Got what seemed a reasonable estimate and received insurance approval. Dropped off car once they called that parts were in...estimated 3 days for repairs with a 2day cushion for painting. 21 days later they called to say it could be picked up. The quality appears ok. I called repeatedly to inquire status, did receive a couple of updates over the 3 weeks, but never a response to my inquiries. The car was returned with a near-dead battery, the charging terminal cover was loose in the engine compartment. The customer service feedback and response was non-existent. Not sure about the rest of the operation there. But if I were you, I would avoid Al Serra
