Terrible service. Left off a tire/aluminum wheel from a 2015 Airstream trailer. After a 2.5 hour wait we picked up our new tire. They loaded the tire in back of our truck. We returned back at RV park 25 miles away to find they had mounted the new tire on a ratty old steel wheel. No apology, no compensation for 50 mile unneeded trip plus toll road fees. When I arrived, the place was packed with people. I had an appointment, but still had to wait at least 15 minutes before they could get to me. Once I was checked in, though, the tire rotation went quickly and I was out in probably 40 minutes. They didn't stock wipers for my Mini, which was the only issue I had. read more

We recently took my wife's car to get the tire pressure checked. The tech indicated the tires were on the very warn side. We went in, and one of the counter guys got a price of +|-$800.00 plus tax. We had 18 inch rims, and the car rode like a cement mixer. So, out of curiosity, I asked what the price for 4 standard size wheels, and a good grade of tire would be. To my amazement, the 4wheels and 4 new tires, mounted, balanced, would run +\- $600.00 plus tax etc. Rewind, better ride and $200.00 LESS? Woo and Hoo. We called today, and asked what time we could do the job. He said come right over. He estimated an hour and a half, so cool, do it. Well, 45 minutes latter, and for $662.00 drove out on the new tires and wonder of wonders, the ride is now awesome. They commit, and most importantly they delivered. I stopped by to remedy the yellow warning light and found out I essentially had a flat tire. For no visible reason one tire dropped significant air pressure. Will Ortiz and Sebastian Tabares went above and beyond to help figure out a solution and get me back on the road quickly. Busiest Discount Tire I've ever been to. You will wait 2 hours at least, unless you arrive at 7:30 and wait for them to open at 8. However.......our service was spectacular. The guys are so friendly despite the waiting lines that were at least five customers deep, despite the growing impatience of the customers. We waited in line for 30 minutes to find out it would be another 2 hrs before we would be out of there. We decided to order our tire and then return a few days later. The fellow who helped us was really knowledgeable, super personable too. Every employee we talked to was the same way. The manager told us he gets there at 4 every day because he is so busy during the work day, it's the only time he can get paperwork done. Give this man a raise! It's not the fault of the store itself that they are so busy. It's not because they are slow in their work because they are not. It's not because they are short handed. Every single person I saw at the store was getting after it. No one was standing around. They are the busiest Discount Tire in the state so they say - and they do not deserve a one star rating, Mr. Kevin C. I, too, have been in many Discount Tire stores over the years and this one is just like the rest but much, much busier. There are only so many bays in every Discount Tire store. Their techs could not have been more helpful and friendly and hard working. There is a reason the line is out the door. People wouldn't be coming here and standing in line for 30 minutes, waiting for another two hours if it were a one star establishment. So, yes, it's unbelievably busy. Know that going in. Bring a book or your fully charged device because you WILL be waiting. There is water and coffee for you. The Rivery shopping center is within walking distance. read more

Today I had a flat and went to Discount Tire to get them to air it up. Little did I know, I had two nails and no tread. My car only has 15k miles on it, I couldn't believe I needed to get new tires. Will made sure I got my tire fixed before I left. He thoroughly explained all of my different options and did not make me feel rushed at all. When my wife took our car to this Discount Tire, where we buy all our tires, she was told by the agent upon putting air in all our tires (due to the sudden drop in temperatures) that our left rear tire had a nail in it. That in itself was huge! Then, he told my wife to have me bring it back before the store opened at 8 AM the next day to get it fixed immediately. The next day I was there shortly after 7 AM to make sure that the tired was repaired. Brad (Bradin S. Couvillon) greeted me with a smile to say that I would be the first customer! Afterward, I met Manager Will, who also was very kind and assured me that I would be taken care of immediately! He and Brad really calmed my fears due to his demeanor and kind words. A little before 8 AM a representative came to me, took my name and cell phone number, and moved on to another person. This man told me that I was #1 in line, and two seconds later I receive a text saying that I was the first customer that day to be served. The car's tire was fixed by 8:45 AM! Representative Hunter was the fourth person to talk to me as he told me everything was good and the car was ready for me! Many thanks to Will and Brad and Hunter! Look I have gotten maybe 3 to 4 sets of tires from various Discount Tire companies over the years. Everything is always great purchasing and installing my tires. However, they never seem to have the tires at the prices I ordered or requested them. This is always after I'm told they have them. Or, until I need to replace a faulty tire or blow out before the warranty is out. My tires are always still in warranty and they have never been replaced or warranties honored which is why I always just end up getting a used tire to replace it. The used tires always last months and years longer than my brand new tires. Now that I think about it, Im going from two stars 2 1 star. Just thinking about all the money I have lost over the years. Best experience I've ever had at a discount tire. Had a warranty on the tire but under the previous owner of the car. Jose searched for it and had a little trouble finding it but he ended up finding the warranty and got me a really big discount and was super nice during the whole ordeal. I just brought the tire and wheel in and they said it would be about 45 minutes but to my surprise it only took about 15 minutes. Everyone was extremely nice. Overall great experience read more

These guys are only going to help you if you can buy a tire from them. I went in after I had purchased a set of tires to have them rotated 7k miles later and one of the tires had some uncharacteristic wear on it but still perfectly fine for another 10k miles or so and they refused to rotate them unless I purchased a new tire from them. Just another scam. Oh well they won't be missed....too many options around here that are much better at customer satisfaction than discount, which is not even a discount by the way. read more

I came out the door this morning and to my chagrin found that I had a flat tire. I had a brand new set of tires put on my car 3 weeks ago by Firestone and was nowhere near a Firestone store. I limped to a gas station & put air in the tire on a quest to get the tire fixed. Discount Tire was right in my line of sight when I got on the freeway so I pulled right in. There was a wait but not an unreasonable one. The young man called my name & I started to pull out my credit card. He said there was a nail in the tire & they fixed it. I ordered tires on Monday. They told me it would be 5-7 days before they arrived. I got a call today on Wednesday and was told my tires were in just come by. I arrived at the shop and they helped me unload my rims and told me I could wait, but they would text when my tires were ready for pickup. I left and had lunch and when I was headed home, I received a text they were ready. Boom in and out in another 10 minutes. These guys are great. read more

BEWARE! I arrived at ~11:30am to have one tire checked for puncture, and pre-approved repair and a backup replacement plan at check-in. I stated clearly that I was headed out of town at 3pm, and was given the time for pickup as 2:30pm. At 2:15pm, I called to confirm the status, and learned the tire was unrepairable. I also learned only then that the completion time had been slipped to 3:45pm, and so I informed the staff to just mount the spare instead. That is when the staff member became particularly snippy. Apparently, he could not comprehend why I simply would not postpone my plans to attend my daughter's engagement party out-of-town to fit their delayed schedule. When I arrived back home with the vehicle, I realized that the rim was returned in the trunk, but my tire was missing. APPARENTLY, THEY WILL NOT RETURN YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY AND NOT TELL YOU! read more

I managed to drive o er a screw and got a flat. They got me in on a Saturday afternoon to repair the flat and check the air pressure on all the other tires. I got there about 4:05 and the car was ready by 4:30. Everyone I talked to was very nice and helpful. Great job guys! read more

I came in today because my tire repair was finished. Not only was I not charged for the repair, but I also witnessed something amazing. This dad and son are in here getting new tires, and the guy helping them overheard the dad say that the kid was going to need to pay him back. So the guy gave the kid a job application, and proceeded to tell the kid his story of coming to work here. I am beyond impressed with the empathy shown by all of the employees here, and most of all this simple act of leadership. read more

These guys are AMAZING! True professionals, honest, caring folks. I called in a quasi panic as I had a nail in my tire. Spoke to Steve on the phone and he said no problem come on in...that would be simple normally, except it's a 305 rear tire on a new R8. Obviously I was just a titch concerned as if they would know what they were doing. Walk in and there are like 20 people in the place and I was thinking this could be a nightmare. The exact opposite. Steve took care of me and knew EXACTLY what he was doing. Every employee I spoke with was super nice as well. I was shocked how quickly these guys me in and out and more importantly Steve knew how to handle everything down to the exact torque for the bolts. I wanted to share my awesome experience with Discount Tire and their amazing staff. I own a Tesla Model Y and had a nail with a slow leak in the tire. This morning I arrived a little early to the Discount Tire store. At the front door was a sign with a Bar Code that allowed me to sign in for my tire repair. When the store opened at 8:00 pm a technician came out to my car. I explained what I needed and he said they would have it taken care of within an hour. After 45 minutes another technician let me know my car was done and apologized for taking so long. Apparently Tesla puts a foam barrier in each tire to soften the road noice. He indicated it took him a while to cut through the foam. When I asked how much I owed him, he said there was no charge. What an amazing company. Great service and great staff. I wish all the businesses I shop at where run like Discount Tire. I have purchased numerous tires from them in the past and will never shop anywhere else when I need tires. read more

I arrived in-person early on a Monday morning and at first glance, the operation appeared to be efficient. I had a nail in my tire (right on the edge of the rim) and wanted to see if it could be plugged. Jacob was my salesperson and said it could not due to the nail placement. I then asked him to simply quote me a new tire. Note that my tire was still drivable so I explained that I had to go to work but to call me with a replacement tire quote. Later on Monday afternoon, there was no word from Jacob so I called to inquire. I was transferred to him and he said he would have information shortly and would call me. It's now THURSDAY and you guessed it... NO word back from Jacob! I will NOT be back! Per the reviews it looks like it's the luck of the draw on customer service. read more
