We're on a long road trip in our RV and had a blowout on the side of the road. We put on the spare and drove to the nearest Discount Tire. We got there about 4:30 pm. They were extremely helpful we went ahead and replaced all four tires at their recommendations as the others looked dry rotted, and could possibly reproduce the same blowout experience as the one we were replacing. We also went ahead and replaced the spare as it looked pretty bad and was very old as well. The crew of Discount Tire replaced all tires took off the spare, replaced it and put it back underneath the camper and had us out there by about 6 o'clock. The way the parking lot was set up once we pulled in you couldn't go forward you had to back out. I was a little bit leery of doing this with all the fencing and barriers on the side. This Discount Tire's manager offered to back the camper out for me and I took him up on his offer. The manager David Lopez gets five stars as well as the rest of the crew. They communicated with me frequently and we're extremely helpful and courteous. Discount Tire always does a good job in my home location, but these guys went above and beyond I also felt the pricing for a was fair and reasonable. I definitely want to give them five stars and highly recommend them to anyone looking for tires or services . read more

I made an appointment, for 2:16 got to discount tire 10 earlier. I didn't get out until 4;30. I felt like I was been by pass because I am a woman I am taking my business somewhere else. Bye discount tire read more

Super busy Saturday. Seems short-staffed for the number of cars they are taking in. I've been waiting almost 4 hours. Their tracker says it has been "in the bay" for 30 minutes. My car is still in the parking lot where I left it 4 hours ago. read more

The only place I will buy tires. Service, quality, price, they've got it all. I especially love that they are competent and helpful.

Arrived at 8:30, only one car ahead of me and for some reason the est finish time was 9:54. Came back at 10 and my car was still in the same spot and when I questioned a worker. The response was "I don't know". Terrible service. Poke on time. And mislead their clients. read more

Limped in on practically flat tire and they got me right in and fixed it for free! And filled up all the other tires as well! Super nice crew! Highly recommend!! read more

We were on the road and just going through El Paso. We ended up needing 2 tires but got 4. The problem was that the tire size is not common. WILL went out of his way for us. We called ahead and Will took all info over the phone, made sure the tires were there when we arrived and got us in within the time we requested. I can't thank him enough! For as busy as they were we are grateful to Will for offering and explaining the CC and the discount we would get with it. Overall great service and value!!! read more

Discount Tire - Will helping out the hubby! - Tires Near Me - El Paso, Texas

we came to discount tire, Andy helped us and my girlfriend told him about her front left tire that had a nail on it. He scanned it did something with his handheld and everything, then they went inside. We was on the computer checking the information with his coworker, and then proceeded to make fun of my car to his coworker saying everything was wrong with the car in a funny way. She just stood there and after the guy will come to grab the cars from her since we were gonna wait in the car. After literally 3 hours, they took us in. When she gave them the keys, a couple minutes after they called her to show her what's wrong with the car. Apparently, they removed THE BACK TIRE from the left side when she said FRONT LEFT. Immediately she told the guy that it wasn't that tire and he denied it, he said it was the right one. My girlfriend insisted and said that she CLEARLY told the guy the correct tire since the guy literally checked the nail himself. His name was Jesus, the guy who was supposed to fix it. Jesus then told my girlfriend that it was the left back, and he showed her a paper with the letters printed saying it was supposedly the left back. She said no, it was wrong. Andy fucked up and said it was the left back when it wasn't true. They wasted our time since they removed that tire for nothing and we had to wait MORE time for the actual tire to be removed. After that, Jesus parked the car right in front of the curve where we were sitting, got out, gave my girlfriend her keys and just said "here's your keys" he didn't even look at her, he was rude and didn't even wish us a good day. He was giving attitude for some reason and I did not appreciate it. read more

Adrian you da man! I was an original customer at the Montwood location which I purchased 4 brand new Falken Tires from. I needed my TPMS sensors programmed and after calling around it seemed no one could service Schrader TPMS sensors. Adrian had remembered me from the Montwood location and did not charge me to program my new sensors! It seems like a lot of Auto Shops aren't able to program Schrader TPMS sensors. Thank god for Discount Tire! Thanks again Adrian! A+ read more

Kept me there for over 2-1/2 hours that they said it was gonna take to have tires installed, they failed miserably, 2-1/2 hours later they don't even have vehicle in the bay, meanwhile I see the tires installers all in a circle just chatting like comadres read more

walked in with no greet or nothing. stood in front the desk for atleast 10 minutes before rep decided to look up.. took another 5 to ask what I was here for which was an appointment that I booked to avoid wasting time. No good. Bunch of goofies work here read more

These guys are awesome! . I get my tire pressure checked once a week and they do it with the best service and smile in the world.

They do not honor appointment times. My appointment was scheduled 45 mins ago and they haven't even looked at my car yet. I arrived 25 mins early as well. read more

I understand they're doing their best to implement social distancing practices but it could be a little more organized. They limit the number of people inside the building so a line forms on the outside. However, there isn't really a designated line area so people just kind of clump spread out while waiting and it gets difficult to figure out who was there first. The experience with the sales rep was ok. He was straight forward and although he really recommended us getting 4 tires instead of just 2, he wasn't overly pushy. They can pretty much order any tire and get it shipped to the shop, but we were on a road trip and needed tires that day, so actual in-store selection was rather limited for our SUV's tire size. To make things better on the tires I wasn't super interested in, he was able to apply a further 10% discount which was nice. It's interesting to note that due to COVID precautions, you drive your car yourself into and out of the service bay. The techs never get in your car. The wait time to get the tires installed on a Friday afternoon was about an hour. The work was a tad on the sloppy side as the tire mounting grease was all over a couple of the wheels. Also 2 of the tires were severely overinflated which I noticed after I left and I had to come back for them to deflate to the proper tire pressure. read more

This location is not best one to go to, I've been to 3 and the rest have been great. This one not so much. Arrived early and when asked how long it would take they said about an hour well An hour and 20 minutes later my car wasn't even started in, I had to leave because I had a prior commitment that I wouldn't make if I left it there any longer. I only slayed because they said an hour but beware their times are not what they say. Stay away from this one if your in a hurry. read more

horrible service pushing you to buy stuff you don't need, always trying to sell wipers. telling me i need Lugnuts, saying that you can't torque them. I've worked for a tire place. I am a man I worked on my car's. Only reason I went to discount tire. was to the take advantage of the free rotation, I can do it at home they always say for your safety for your safety for your safety trying to push and make a sale horrible place how things have changed I don't recommend them anymore go to Martin tire go to Walmart probably cheaper. read more

1 star. It's exactly what it deserves. They didn't have an indoor area, instead you have to wait outside in the heat. Then, they refused to put the tires on the wheels I had brought to them. When just recently they said over the phone that they would put them on. Go anywhere else to get your tires done. Even if it's just a different discount tire. read more

Horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible. I am very disappointed with the tricks these people and company have to not give you what you paid for. Putting dry rotted tires on someone's car but cleaning them off to look new? Then not doing anything when you go back to point it out? Not ok. That's dangerous. Instead of trying to save a bucks, you need to put your focus on customers safety. I absolutely do not recommend these people to anyone. read more

Excellent customer service. I was shopping around for a set of tires, and I almost made my mind to go with Firestone, but I thought of checking this place out to see if they may have a better deal than the one I got. Sure enough, I was greeted very well, and had all the attention that I needed to help me pick a great set of tires in a competitive rate that I chose to go with them, I was even more impressed when I was told that I would have a life time warranty at any of their branches for rotation and balancing!! Great deal!! A happy and returning customer! I do recommend this place or discount tire stores in general, do your home work first, and then step over here, and I am sure you will be impressed like I was, and you would leave with a good deal and new set of tires. read more

Clay was awesome! Highly recommend this Shop--completely honest and had me on my way without breaking the Bank

Gotta love Discount Tire! I have been coming here ever since I purchased my first four tires in El Paso. I had just joined the military and was looking for a reliable place to purchase new tires. Great customer service and extremely knowledgeable staff here and at the Montwood location, that are the only two I have gone to. Oh! And don't forget the FREE "Air Check Station" and FREE "Flat Tire Repair" and FREE "Tire Rotation"... its madness who provides all these services for FREE!! Discount Tire that's who. If you don't want to be disappointed with your next tire service, this is the place for you. My only complaint is that (sometimes not always) you may be waiting for over an hour. But other than that great place!! read more

I have always trusted Discount Tire with my vehicles....until now. Made appointment for the store located at 11201 Gateway W El Paso TX for a TPMS sensor change on one tire. Had to wait 30 min only to find out David wouldn't work on my truck because the tires I have are 1/2 inch wider than the rim. This is a little extreme especially after wasting my time waiting and another store has worked on my truck with no issues....he was just being lazy and seemed like he didn't want to even work on my vehicle which really has no bearing on the tire itself. Never going to this store again and will take my business elsewhere because of him. read more

Thanks to Philip and the rest of the team for getting me in and out in about 15 min.. came at 7 to wait till they opened so I could get in and out.. the barcode at the door was beneficial to keep customers in order. I made an Appt for 0830 for a Tire B&R. I arrived at 0822 and went inside and was told to wait in my car and he would be right out to me. At 0847 this older man finally came outside to greet us at my car and told us he had 2-3 ppl ahead of us and he would be back shortly to get us checked in. At 0911 I finally got tired of waiting and called the store to found out that there were 5-7 ppl ahead of me. I had and appt at 0830 and was never seen. The older man was very unprofessional and rude about the issue. We left at 0915. read more

My wife took in her car due to one of the sensors going off we left it took about an hour for them to look at it got the call that it was ready picked it up and said that the sensor was bad they changed it out . A week later the sensor went off again she took it to a different shop not a discount tire store and it resulted that the tire had a screw in it she got it fixed .how did they miss that . Never again will we be taking back our cars to that discount tire. read more

Ian and staff helped me out tremendously. I went after getting out of work and they took me in even minutes before they closed shop for the day. They're all very professional and courteous. I had a flat and had a spare on while I ordered my tires, but they were able to price match and install the tires all on the same day. This crew can hustle! Every employee I encountered was very polite, friendly and helpful. Recommend an appointment if you can though. I had to wait a while but I didn't mind because I was in a bind. read more

The crew is amazing and their customer service is top notch. I wasn't a fan of discount tire until I had to visit this location because I had an unfixable tire while I'm on vacation. Thankfully, Jose was able to order the tire in the morning from Albuquerque and had it in the store by the next afternoon. Brian was so kind to find me an appointment that afternoon, and just in case the tire didn't come in, he found another used tire that can be used temporarily. Danny located the tire that just came off the trailer and the crew had me in and out with the new tire in less than 30 minutes!! Incredible crew. Never saw a person sitting around, everyone hustled. Thank you so much for giving me a piece of mind with a new tire to go back home, 9+ hr journey with my son. read more

When shopping for tires I highly recommend going to Discount Tires, they're not always the cheapest, but their tire warranty is straight up clutch! The warranty is comprehensive and their service is really good across all locations I've dealt with throughout the country. Pretty much the only difference is availability, which you can check online. I purchased a new set of tires at this location a couple of months ago and the representative worked with me to get credit from my old tires' warranty (also from Discount) in order to upgrade. Unfortunately one of the new tires went flat recently (nail), and when I came back they replaced it without any hassle. Wait times were reasonable in each occasion. read more

I really enjoyed my experience. The staff is friendly and attentive. Steve was awesome! He explained everything clearly and had me in and out in 30 minutes! Crazy!! They really take care of you here. Oh yeah...and ask for a military discount if applicable. They take care of everyone. Thanks Discount Tire!! :-D read more

Went to Discount Tire for a tire rotation. I have bought tires from them for 20 years for four vehicles and a fifth wheel (I do a lot of traveling). They quoted me a cost of $64. I said no thanks. Went across the street to Martin Tire and they did the rotation free even though I had not bought tires from them for many years. They just asked for me to let them price tires next time I needed them. I had always been happy with Discount until now. In the future, if prices are comparable I will go with Martin tire. read more

Worst service I have ever experienced. Came in explain to the techs that my tires were having issues and they tried to make it my fault saying this was my vehicle. My vehicle is less than 2 years old and my tires are less than 1 year old that I bought from their location. Tried to talk to the service rep and explain but he started to talk to us like we were dumb 2 year olds. This company doesn't care to help their customers they get you to buy their certificates to "help you out" but instead they do all they can to screw you instead. If anyone needs tires don't come here they will take your money and "promise" to help but then do all they can to not help you when you need it. read more

This was a really bad experience. Came in here because one of my tires had a nail on it. I called 3 different tire places by far Discount Tire took the cake the quality of service was Excellent over the phone and in store and the fact that David my tire advisor wanted to look at the tire first just to make sure that the damage was not deep enough before I actually pay for the tire. That to me shows that they care about the customer and not just about the money!! If big companies took the time to care a bit more about customer not just a transaction they will increase their sales by at least 30- 40% please next time you need a tire ask for David he is the MAN... Thank you Discount tire for caring about the customer and not just about the money!! If I could rate this place 10 stars I will!!! read more
