We're on a long road trip in our RV and had a blowout on the side of the road. We put on the spare and drove to the nearest Discount Tire. We got there about 4:30 pm. They were extremely helpful we went ahead and replaced all four tires at their recommendations as the others looked dry rotted, and could possibly reproduce the same blowout experience as the one we were replacing. We also went ahead and replaced the spare as it looked pretty bad and was very old as well. The crew of Discount Tire replaced all tires took off the spare, replaced it and put it back underneath the camper and had us out there by about 6 o'clock. The way the parking lot was set up once we pulled in you couldn't go forward you had to back out. I was a little bit leery of doing this with all the fencing and barriers on the side. This Discount Tire's manager offered to back the camper out for me and I took him up on his offer. The manager David Lopez gets five stars as well as the rest of the crew. They communicated with me frequently and we're extremely helpful and courteous. Discount Tire always does a good job in my home location, but these guys went above and beyond I also felt the pricing for a was fair and reasonable. we came to discount tire, Andy helped us and my girlfriend told him about her front left tire that had a nail on it. He scanned it did something with his handheld and everything, then they went inside. We was on the computer checking the information with his coworker, and then proceeded to make fun of my car to his coworker saying everything was wrong with the car in a funny way. She just stood there and after the guy will come to grab the cars from her since we were gonna wait in the car. After literally 3 hours, they took us in. When she gave them the keys, a couple minutes after they called her to show her what's wrong with the car. Apparently, they removed THE BACK TIRE from the left side when she said FRONT LEFT. Immediately she told the guy that it wasn't that tire and he denied it, he said it was the right one. My girlfriend insisted and said that she CLEARLY told the guy the correct tire since the guy literally checked the nail himself. His name was Jesus, the guy who was supposed to fix it. Jesus then told my girlfriend that it was the left back, and he showed her a paper with the letters printed saying it was supposedly the left back. She said no, it was wrong. Andy fucked up and said it was the left back when it wasn't true. They wasted our time since they removed that tire for nothing and we had to wait MORE time for the actual tire to be removed. After that, Jesus parked the car right in front of the curve where we were sitting, got out, gave my girlfriend her keys and just said "here's your keys" he didn't even look at her, he was rude and didn't even wish us a good day. Adrian you da man! I was an original customer at the Montwood location which I purchased 4 brand new Falken Tires from. I needed my TPMS sensors programmed and after calling around it seemed no one could service Schrader TPMS sensors. Adrian had remembered me from the Montwood location and did not charge me to program my new sensors! It seems like a lot of Auto Shops aren't able to program Schrader TPMS sensors. This location is not best one to go to, I've been to 3 and the rest have been great. This one not so much. Arrived early and when asked how long it would take they said about an hour well An hour and 20 minutes later my car wasn't even started in, I had to leave because I had a prior commitment that I wouldn't make if I left it there any longer. I understand they're doing their best to implement social distancing practices but it could be a little more organized. They limit the number of people inside the building so a line forms on the outside. However, there isn't really a designated line area so people just kind of clump spread out while waiting and it gets difficult to figure out who was there first. The experience with the sales rep was ok. He was straight forward and although he really recommended us getting 4 tires instead of just 2, he wasn't overly pushy. They can pretty much order any tire and get it shipped to the shop, but we were on a road trip and needed tires that day, so actual in-store selection was rather limited for our SUV's tire size. To make things better on the tires I wasn't super interested in, he was able to apply a further 10% discount which was nice. It's interesting to note that due to COVID precautions, you drive your car yourself into and out of the service bay. The techs never get in your car. The wait time to get the tires installed on a Friday afternoon was about an hour. The work was a tad on the sloppy side as the tire mounting grease was all over a couple of the wheels. Also 2 of the tires were severely overinflated which I noticed after I left and I had to come back for them to deflate to the proper tire pressure. read more

1 star. It's exactly what it deserves. They didn't have an indoor area, instead you have to wait outside in the heat. Then, they refused to put the tires on the wheels I had brought to them. I have always trusted Discount Tire with my vehicles....until now. Made appointment for the store located at 11201 Gateway W El Paso TX for a TPMS sensor change on one tire. Had to wait 30 min only to find out David wouldn't work on my truck because the tires I have are 1/2 inch wider than the rim. This is a little extreme especially after wasting my time waiting and another store has worked on my truck with no issues....he was just being lazy and seemed like he didn't want to even work on my vehicle which really has no bearing on the tire itself. Never going to this store again and will take my business elsewhere because of him. read more

My wife took in her car due to one of the sensors going off we left it took about an hour for them to look at it got the call that it was ready picked it up and said that the sensor was bad they changed it out . When shopping for tires I highly recommend going to Discount Tires, they're not always the cheapest, but their tire warranty is straight up clutch! The warranty is comprehensive and their service is really good across all locations I've dealt with throughout the country. Pretty much the only difference is availability, which you can check online. I purchased a new set of tires at this location a couple of months ago and the representative worked with me to get credit from my old tires' warranty (also from Discount) in order to upgrade. Went to Discount Tire for a tire rotation. I have bought tires from them for 20 years for four vehicles and a fifth wheel (I do a lot of traveling). They quoted me a cost of $64. I said no thanks. Went across the street to Martin Tire and they did the rotation free even though I had not bought tires from them for many years. They just asked for me to let them price tires next time I needed them. I had always been happy with Discount until now. In the future, if prices are comparable I will go with Martin tire. read more

Worst service I have ever experienced. Came in explain to the techs that my tires were having issues and they tried to make it my fault saying this was my vehicle. My vehicle is less than 2 years old and my tires are less than 1 year old that I bought from their location. Tried to talk to the service rep and explain but he started to talk to us like we were dumb 2 year olds. This company doesn't care to help their customers they get you to buy their certificates to "help you out" but instead they do all they can to screw you instead. My tire pressure got low last night and I decided to take it to this location to see the reasoning behind it. Once I got there around 9:50 am, it didn't take too long for an employee to help me , which was great. They told me I had a nail in one of my tires and all I needed was a patch. I said okay, let's patch it up and they told me that my car would be ready by 12:40 latest, which was fine to me since I didn't have an appointment. By 12:15 my car was yet to be even touched. I kept asking the status and they told me they were getting backed up. So they told me to wait another 45 mins and it'll for sure be done. I waited almost an hour more and still my car had yet to been touched. By this time I was already upset because I've been watching the employees bring other cars to the back to get worked on who had just gotten there. Point is, they should not even give a time of completion if they know they won't be able to get it out in time. Also they should prioritize who's been there for a while too. They manager knew what was going on too, and instead of him helping and sympathizing with me , he could careless. After asking for my keys back, he said "okay, and have a good day". I called 3 different tire places by far Discount Tire took the cake the quality of service was Excellent over the phone and in store and the fact that David my tire advisor wanted to look at the tire first just to make sure that the damage was not deep enough before I actually pay for the tire. That to me shows that they care about the customer and not just about the money!! If big companies took the time to care a bit more about customer not just a transaction they will increase their sales by at least 30- 40% please next time you need a tire ask for David he is the MAN...
