Went in to get tires replaced on vehicle and made an appointment. I showed up 10 minutes before the appointment and still waited over an hour before they even got to my vehicle. After getting the vehicle back there were several scratches in the rims which Discount Tire refused to take responsibility for. While I acknowledged that they seemed busy when I came in I don't see the point of offering appointments when they don't even seem to have a dedicated bay for appointment vehicles. read more

He went above and beyond to assure that I had the same price that I had been quoted prior to this appointment. They were not busy that day and I was in and out in 45 mins. In 7/10/25 I brought my car in to check tires at 1:15 pm, the man said I had a screw in tire, and they will fix it. I am still here. people came after me have come and gone. it's now after 3: z so 30 pm and I'm still sitting here. My notifications on my phone said my arrival time was 3:08 pm, which was a lie. I looked at the watch on my arm and it was 2:58 pm. I Jude, one of the workers, and he said he don't know why my arrival time is 3:03pm I've never had a problem with discount tires. We've done business with them for over 20 years. I was the only minority here. I hate to think that is/was the reason. it's now 3:35 and the place is almost empty and I'm still sitting here Waiting on my car. They said my car should be ready around 4:00 pm. sadly I'm still waiting. read more

I bought 4 tires at this discount tire. They were not balanced correctly. My wife took the car back and told them she needed the tires rebalanced. They told her they rotated and balanced all 4 tires. The right rear tire was the main one with the issue. After they rotated that tire to the left front, there was a hard shimmy in the steering wheel that was never there before. I removed the tire, and after inspecting it, the rim had the same stick on weights it had before purchasing the new tires. The weights were old and cruddy. I switched the tire back to the rear and moved most of the vibration with it. At this point, I don't trust discount tire to balance them again so I will have to pay someone else to do it. I cannot recommend this particular discount tire to anyone. read more

I had to create an account specifically to warn others about this location. This is the absolute worst Discount Tire I have ever visited. I came in for a single tire replacement and was greeted by Jessica. Instead of addressing my needs, she immediately pivoted to "sales tactics," checking my windshield wipers without being asked. The experience worsened when we went inside. After mentioning a future alignment, she automatically added two tires to the payment screen. When I questioned why she was quoting two tires instead of the one I requested, she falsely claimed that alignments require new tires because the service is "based on the tire and wheel." Realizing I was being lied to, I declined all services. She didn't even acknowledge me as I left. This location seems to rely on upselling and misleading college students who may not know better. I was visiting Bryan from three hours, away and had five dogs with me, including my foster dog with cancer. After fundraising, her rescue arranged medical care related to her cancer, which required several long drives recently. At 5:30pm I noticed a rear tire looked very low on air. I decided to head to the nearest discount tire for an air check, since I was driving another three hours home with five dogs in tow. I arrived five minutes before they closed, but the air check guy was very nice, and said one tire was low. Afterward, another tech, Ethan, explained that the tire was inflated below 15 psi, and it's too low to safely just add air and be on my way. The rescue foster dog who has cancer is preparing for a leg amputation in four days. Ethan was incredibly kind and assured me that they would check the tire, and repair vs replace, if it was safe to do so. He also talked about his girlfriend's 15 year old chihuahua, Winston, and asked me about my little guard chi who was barking up a storm in his quest to "protect" me. Another tech, Aiden, was able to remove a nail, and patch the tire. Ethan and Aiden are exceptional employees and my entire experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this discount tire location to anyone expecting honest and fair service. Being female, i don't know a lot about tires, and it was obvious by my questions. But, I was treated very well, and they never tried pushing a new tire to make a sale. They went out of their way to be helpful and fast during an already difficult time, including having five dogs in tow. I'm a Discount Tire customer for life! read more

On 2-15-24 I had a blown tire that was replaced under warranty. They were diligent to check the balance and condition on the rest of the tires on my car. They were Mical, Ethan, Cole and Cole who went to work and accomplished this in minutes. I think they were smiling and singing! These young men at this store are always respectful, competent and so refreshing for me to encounter. They even made a fresh pot of coffee for me. Well-done, positive experience. read more

They have helped her in a pinch with a bad tire and got her out the door quickly. I will come back here again and again even though it takes me longer to get here. I call this place to get a appointment for a tire change, the guy that answered told me to wait for a moment, well after 30min I hang up. I call the second store they have here in Bryan, so I ask the guy if they take "wheels" which is a company just like enterprise they take care of our fleet vehicles, the guy just hangs up, so I called again he answers and hangs up again. This is a tough post to make. Been a Discount Tire Co (DTC) raving fan for over 30 years. Apologies in advance for length: -Went to the store in Bryan off hwy 6 bypass 12.2.2022 for a tire rotation/lifetime balance -While there a pickup truck they couldn't start was "jump-started" by the owner with a screwdriver. NO ONE WAS IN THE TRUCK. The truck crashed into my car. The manager Scott admit fault immediately and take responsibility for the matter. He was to reach out to their risk management and insurance carrier Fleet Response. Took a couple weeks to hear from them (first red flag) -We took car to THEIR recommended shop Demontrond, was told work would be great, warranted for life. - when asking about depreciative value due to wreck, Fred said "the car market is so hot, you could get it repaired and sell for more the day it is finished being repaired".... hmm. -Fast forward 2.5 months, RENTAL CAR NOT PAID FOR, pick up car after MUCH DELAY, not detailed, body shop dust inside and out. Too tired to argue about it after traveling, had to go, we left. -While on vacation, we get a letter from Fleet Response telling us car is totalled, offering 9k less than the car was paid for just days prior to coming to DTC.. I call Fleet Response to understand why they'd approve almost 11k in damage repairs to turn around and pay off our vehicle? And also to add that they are about 5-7k less than the purchase price less taxes, they if they wanted to pay it off. From this point no one at fleet response would call back. EVER. - a few days later, washing the car, start noticing blems, body issues, clear paint runs, body panels misaligned, paint color not matching, bumpers not painted, ALL BAD! - immediately reached out to all involved, Scott at Discount, Fred at Fleet Response (this is when I find out he is no longer w Fleet Response), his boss Mary, and her boss Stu. You think they called us back? Nope. - Then I pushed some more and finally got a call back from DTC lawyer Jim Brandt. His position is "Evon at the body shop says all is good, what can I help you with"? I let him know the details, his position is "we paid to repair it, it is repaired, what more do you want?" "A few minor issues, they'll fix it." I explain it is not repaired, not minor, not at all. -Jim of DTC's direction is to take back to Demontrond to "address the small issues". I let him know they are not "small issues", we do not trust the shop THEY suggested, they have ZERO incentive to make right, they've been paid, if this was their idea of quality, we don't want that work on our vehicle. - Jim asks what we want, told him we'd take to another couple of shops to estimate the repair, but that Demontrond finishing was unacceptable all considered. - this is where it broke down. Jim started speaking to me in a patronizing way, that my "frustrations" were understandable, but that there isn't much else they can do. we believe there is: A. Repair the vehicle as agreed 100% B. Pay the $1700+ in rental car invoices + arrange for another rental while in the shop being repaired again C. Be prepared to pay the damages of depreciative loss on a wrecked car value versus unwrecked. Or: A. Total the car (almost 19k with taxes, etc) B. Pay the $1700+ auto rental charges C. $1200 for my lost time and days off work dealing with all this crap all caused due to their negligence - Things escalated due to the calous disregard for our property, told him if they kept being unreasonable, maybe I should rent a flat bed and park it next to the shop with a billboard or sign telling all the "Customers to BEWARE!! IF YOUR CAR IS DAMAGED HERE YOU ARE LIKELY SCREWED!!!" He got annoyed, asked if I was serious, and I said "I was if thats what it would take to get what was right!" He chose to get more irritable, and again when began the talk track of "minor damage, blah blah blah" I began chiding him with "Say it again Jim, say it again so I can get it recorded". I asked him how he'd feel if it was his car? He verbally said he did not want to be recorded, and abruptly ended the call. I wonder why?? - We then received an email notice just following telling us to take it up with my insurance company and "to subrogate" them... DO NOT TRUST DISCOUNT TIRE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CAR IF THEY WRECK IT. SCOTT THE MANAGER IS A NICE GUY BUT HE CAN'T DO ANYTHING, CORPORATE IS SCREWING US ON OUR CAR. THEY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO FIX THIS, AND I HAVE BEEN VERY REASONABLE UP UNTIL SEEING OUR CAR AFTER REPAIR AND THE POOR / LACK OF REPONSE. Pics from the day it happened through now for reference. Great service. My tires only had 42,000 miles on them and they needed to be replaced because the college station location did me wrong and didn't rotate them like I told them to. The general manager in Bryan gave me a huge discount on 4 new tires. Imagine going in for a routine service and being told you need 4 new tires for a couple thousand. Update: Manager called to apologize and was sincerely concerned how I was sent out of their store with a valve stem that was not screwed in and the length in time it took to contact me back about this issue. He assured me that this was read to his entire crew at this location and how missing key steps on installation of tires can be decremental to their customers and their business. Corrections have been made and my faith in the company and this location has been restored. I have been a loyal customer of Discount Tire for over 20 years and will continue to be a loyal customer. Thank you Discount Tire. Purchased 4 ea new tires and they installed them and was on my way home (over an hour away) my low tire light never went off. Was not on at all when I pulled in. When I got home I waited for my husband to have a look at it. Sunday afternoon he was able to look at it and discover that the only thing holding the air in the tire was the stem cap. They sent me off to drive home with a noticeable leak in the tire stem and covered it with a cap. You can hear it leak out with the cap off. This is risking my life and my loved ones sending me out like this. I shouldn't have to check on my tires for proper safety and installation with a company that all they do is tires. My trust is gone with this company. Now I have to try to make it back so they can try to correct their mistakes and be late for work due to THIER NEGLIGENCE!!! Not a happy customer!!! read more

Not only do they have me in and out in new tires in 45 minutes or less, every time, on all my 4 vehicles, they also replace tires for free when I catch road debris! They have done it twice now. I went to this location yesterday for a free tire pressure check after one of the tires I purchased from them was low. Instead of having a drive thru set up like every other Discount Tire I've been to, they told me they would check me in and have me wait like an actual service.... Then quoted me a 45 minute wait JUST to check my tire pressure (literally a less than 1 minute task). I tried to speak to the manager about the situation but he was dismissive and didn't see this as being a ridiculous request from a customer who had already spent money on the product. He claimed that's just how they do things. I spoke with corporate... the representative was nice and said they would have the manager call (still waiting) but I honestly don't expect much of a response. First, want to thank Andre and Ronaldo. My Porsche unexpectedly developed a flat in my main thread. Fortunately I was close to Discount Tire. The staff told me that there would be no fee to repair the tire. I later learnt that there was severe inner tire wear due to my Camber and Toe. That being said, they could not repair the tire and take on the risk of it later blowing for alternate reasons. Although my car probably never had an alignment performed previously, I was a little skeptical at first but Andre honestly explained the situation and was more than happy to walk outside and show me (on multiple different occasions the issue on the tire). I'm needed to return to work and Andre honestly explained that the specialty tires should arrive on time. Long story short, the necessary parts arrived on time, Andre charged me the price he guaranteed, and my car is driving better than new. As a side note, Andre and Ronaldo were more than accommodating in letting my car sit in the garage for a few days until the parts arrived in time. I have always trusted Discount Tire but this branch has withheld information from me and been zero help after my recent purchase. I went to buy new tires this weekend and things went great until I went to pick my car up. I get a call that my car is ready, so I head there and walk in the store to get my keys, my dad was with me and says he's gonna go check out the new tires while I do that. I walk out from getting my keys and my dad says "Hmmm there's a lug nut missing on one of your wheels, lets go back in and ask them about that". We walk back in and the assistant manager goes to check on who worked on my car, he walked back in and said "Oh yeah, they broke one of the studs". And proceeded to send me on my way to Aggieland Automotive to get that repaired. I tried to let it roll of my shoulders that they didn't even try to inform me that a stud had been broken and that they were just going to let me go on my way without knowing they had caused damage to my wheel. So we go straight to Aggieland Automotive(which is across town) to discover that it is closed. You would think if you had a partner auto company you would know their hours and inform your customer that just dropped $500 on new tires of those hours ...but I guess not. So I see they open at 7:30 am Monday morning I'll just head their before work. I get to Aggieland Automotive right when they open Monday morning to find out they can't even begin working on my car until 8:45 but it could take 45 minutes to 2.5 hours to repair depending on how badly Discount Tire broke the stud... keep in mind I have to leave for work by 8:30 to get there in time. At this point I am beyond frustrated and there's no way I can be this late to work. I was told that I could drive on a broken stud to my job that is 45 minutes away driving on highway 6. I get in my car and google if I can drive on a broken stud and it says: "It is not safe to drive on a broken wheel stud. This feature has a significant impact on the quality of control and steering while driving. It is necessary to repair the wheel stud in order to drive on highways or at high speeds so that serious damage does not befall the vehicle." So not only has Discount Tire wasted hours of my time and stressed me out, they have also made it seem as though it would be safe to drive with this broken stud when in fact it could cause more damage to my car. I spoke to an assistant manager on the phone this morning and he was apologetic, but offered no help at all. I am extremely unhappy with the customer service of this branch and my vehicle is still not properly fixed! read more

Had a blowout on Christmas eve - then we changed the spare and it wouldn't hold air so we were towed to this discount tire. They honored the warranty. on the failed tired, and then I bought another new one so then I would be sure and have a good spare. But had a few problems with the service: First, they didn't install the spare back. I guess they expect me to get underneath the vechical in nice close to install it myself. I asked them to it which they did. Then I noticed one of the hubcaps wasn't installed. So then I put it on and drive away and then it falls off. Apparently one of the tabs has been broken but they didn't bother to tell me and figured I would discover that later. (PS - replacements are $60 ea for this vechial). But there's the big thing. I noticed the ABS lights was on. I've had the car almost 2 years and put about 25K on this and I've never ever had this light come on. I took it back and the guy looked underneath and said there was no ABS sensors buy the wheels for this VW and there's no way they could have done anything to affect it. They were really busy at that time so I'm guessing they would rather lie than actually take teh wheels off and see if they had simply knocked an ABS sensor loose. PS - they guy either is an idiot or lied - there are ABS sensors on each wheel. I do love this company but anyone should try one of the other locations - this one is terrible and I just wish I had been towed to the location in College Station. read more

I've been doing business with discount tire in general for 20 years and at this store since it opened. I have spent a lot of money with this company and I feel it's money well spent. I just got a new set of tires put on my pick up today. Another example of a typical visit; I arrived when the store opened at eight. They handled 25 customers and still managed to get me out with four tires mounted, balanced and installed in 56 minutes! While simultaneously unloading a semi trailer making a delivery! So I'm currently at discount tires in Bryan and I'm asking them to check my tires to see what is actually needed in my opinion the only tire that needs to be replaced is the front driver side but they told me that the two rear tires also needs to be replaced for a total cost of $303. as usual they don't have the tire that I want it for $46 each. big surprise there, they're always trying to upsell you the more expensive tire. So I told the guy that I would only be buying one tire and he said that he couldn't do that because the back two tires are unsafe. I'm not a tire expert but I did inspect the back two tires and they seem to be perfectly fine in my opinion. so the guy said that he had to get his manager's approval and sign some waiver so that they wouldn't be liable if something happened to my car. that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard they should be ashamed of themselves for trying to upsell two additional tires that are not needed because they think as customers we don't know anything about tires. how dare they try to scare their customers at a time that we are facing the coronavirus where people are already panicking just so they can make a sale. read more

Unbelievable liars! They sell you over the phone, agree to all you want, then change their minds when you show up. They suck you in with a guarantee that is twice as expensive as other tire shops. THEY tell you what they will do with YOUR car. If you disagree, too bad! They tell you you MUST comply, because their lawyers tell their management, and their management tells them, what is safe and not safe. If you disagree, too bad. They told me that I could not buy tires for the front of my car without rotating the rear tires to the front. Their way or the highway. I took the highway. These people offer no real price advantage, and make up any savings with their scumbag carney tricks. Outstanding in my book. We had a teen blow a tire on their way to Houston late at night.AAA towed to this location. When I called Sat morning Jonathan Irvin I think was his name was happy to help find a tire to fit an offered to keep the truck in the bay safe for us until we returned on Monday. The blow out bent the bumper so Monday when we arrived he also helped us bend out the bumper an fix a few other things. They were busy but he went out of his way to help us get back on the road so we could make it home safe. I can not thank him enough. Excellent customer service, Steve was great! He greeted me as I walked in and made me feel comfortable. I wanted to keep my old tire for a tire swing and they were nice enough to bag it and put it in my car .The mechanic forgot to air up my tires but, I mentioned it and they aired them up right away. Steve also said he would make sure to talk to them to make sure it's not happening on other cars. They stripped a lug-nut by accident and will be taking care of it at their expense.All in all though I had a very nice experience and will come back in the future. read more
