We were in the process of moving from Idaho to Utah when a nail got stuck in one of our tires. Our niece told us Discount Tire is the best! We arrived at Discount Tire at 4:30pm (they close at five), and told them about our predicament. Not only did they help us, they patched our tire and stayed over an hour to do it. When I asked, "What do we owe?" They told us nothing and sent us on our way! Zander and Eduardo we soo kind and just took over, never once making us feel like an inconvenience. Discount Tire is now our tire go to for as long as we own a car! They were amazing and are definitely THE BEST!!! read more

We were on a road trip from Idaho to Utah and our Tesla had a huge gash so we called DT first thing in the morning and they actually had 3 of the rare tires I needed in hand. They were able to get us in around 1pm and it took all of 10mins to switch it out. Friday and Saturdays are their busy days. read more

Brought my truck in for service 2 days ago and was quoted a total of ~$120 for a tire swap, mount and balance. When I arrived, I was told the quote was incorrect and that it was actually going to be ~$180. I paid, left and received a call after a few hours informing me they would not be able to balance my tires since they could not remove my center caps and asked how to proceed. I told them to continue with mounting the tires and asked if I could come back another time for a balance if I removed the center caps at home and brought the truck back without them. I wanted to be very careful, as these center caps are part of a rare collector's set of wheels and tires. About an hour later, I picked up my truck and drove it home. Upon, arriving at home I noticed the drivers side center caps were missing. I then checked the passenger side caps and was able to screw them off very easily by hand. I called back to clarify my confusion, since I was told they were not able to remove the caps. I was informed they were actually able to remove the caps and get the tires balanced. I never received an update regarding this. I then asked if they had the missing caps to swing by and pick them up, but they informed me they likely didn't tighten them enough and that the caps had fallen off on the way home. They did try to rectify the issue and order me new center caps but were unable to find them. I spent ~2 hours combing the street and sidewalk on my route home to try to find them, but no luck. I also have been unable to find replacements, as these are extremely rare. I am overall unsatisfied with this outcome and frustrated, as these rare wheels are expensive and an important part of a build I've worked on for years. With no way to source a replacement, I am stuck with damages and expenses caused from my visit. Additionally, missing center caps on this set significantly reduces the market/resale value, as they are discontinued. I would recommend going elsewhere, especially if you have expensive or rare wheels/tires you care about. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

Today I was disappointed! I buy all my tires from America'/ Discount Tire. While traveling I picked up a razor blade in my tire. So I stopped by Discount Tire and they said it couldn't be fixed and I needed a new tire! Sooo sorry you couldn't help me. I had to go to Les Schwab and get a free repair. Yes they fixed it and said it barely came through. Your link doesn't work! It takes me to the Fleet login. read more

Bountiful Utah. Horrible service. They change employees and managers so often I don't know what's the problem. But I can say this. They don't have a real appointment scheduled. You make one and you still wait 45 minutes before your car gets worked on. Fixing a flat ? Forget it. They say it can't be fixed .expecting you to be suckered into buy a new one and spending more money on their ridiculous warranties. Don't go here. read more

Discount Tire - My truck and trailer has 8 tires - Tires Near Me - Bountiful, Utah

I came in to have a tire repaired that they sold to me. They refused and said the tire was too worn and it was a liability. They tire was only a few years old and not worn at all. They kept telling me they would be happy to sell me a new tire. Saying one tire would cost over $1000. I didn't even pay $1000 for thw 4 they sold me. Took my car to another tire shop and they were able to repair it. Will never give them my business again. read more

I personally have only utilized the services of the Bountiful branch for new tires and road warranty repairs (nails, screws, etc.). I like the fact they always have been professional and try hard to get my car in even though there is always numerous customers at all times since they are popular. Quality workmanship. No upsell attempts. I will continue to think of them as my "go to" guys. read more

I had a great experience here this morning. I showed up at my pre designated appointment time and was immediately helped. Due to covid-19 they had me pull in and wait in my car why the work was completed. It was kind of cool to sit there and watch these guys do their thing I didn't ask them too, but they removed all the old weights from my tires and then rebalanced them. They now drive smooth as silk! No vibration what so ever. And that's for all terrain tires. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. I definitely recommend making an appointment. I'll be back in 6,000 miles for another rotation and balance! read more

Discount Tire - Waiting in truck while tires are serviced. - Tires Near Me - Bountiful, Utah

I went in for a flat repair and found that oir tread was worn way down at only a third of the tire life. Zander and Chase took the time to unravel questions about manufacturer warranties and made up what the manufacturer refused to honor. I never felt pressured and they were helpful in a frustrating situation. Like anywhere, the prices start on the high end. Be sure to ask questions, price check other places, and it seems like they are going to take care of you without dodging and covering stuff up. read more

After waiting in the lobby for a little while, just to get turned away with attitude. didn't offer any options for tire replacement. Thanks

My tires were super bald and needed them done asap. Dropped off my vehicle and not only did they have my tires, they were a great deal. My car was done in an hour. read more

I was visiting family from out of town and Hertz had handed me a rental car with a slow leaking tire. So I was facing the dilemma of what was going to become a flat tire while traveling out of town and about to be caught in a snowstorm on a holiday and weekend. I stopped into Discount and they were able to quickly get me in on a Saturday afternoon and they fixed my tire for free. This saved me the hassle of having to call the rental car roadside assistance on a holiday weekend. Their staff was friendly and I was able to be in and out in under two hours. I think Discount Tire is one of the few places left with consistently high quality customer service and I will be buying my next set of tires from them! read more

Nope, had a really bad experience with staff. After the Tires started bubbling after about a hundred miles. Had a harder time returning them. They kept saying it was my fault and that I had over inflated them. Of course I hadn't touched them since they threw them on the car. They will never get my business again. read more

Been coming here for years and the only place I buy my tires. I can't find a reason to shop elsewhere.

If you're young don't buy here ever! Went in to trade in my car and left with a 2020 thinking the paper work was done and the car was mine. A week later they call and say they need the car back and that the paperwork wasn't correct. Now I'm left with no car and bad credit because of them running my credit so much. Brad the manager is incredibly rude and disrespectful to not only me but my girlfriend as well. He did not even offer to make any of it right. He should be fired. read more

I have been using Discount Tire in Bountiful for over 8 years. They have installed tires on my two cars and my pickup. They have great prices and the service after the sale was also very good. I had to put Winter snow tires on my Lame Toyota Prius to get up the hills in Bountiful in the winter. They have swapped from winter to summer tires for about 5 years. Sometimes the waiting time can be less than stellar, but I have always got good service and great tires. greg read more

Got a tire rotation and they cross threaded the lug and hub on the right front tire. Had to take my car to the our dealership and thankfully they were able to fix it. This store lied saying that the lug was already like that but if that were true they wouldn't have tried to put the lug back in and we would have received a call before picking it up. read more

I took my tire in to get patched and he said it had a little bit of weather cracking that I should get it replaced soon after it gets patched. Half an hour later, he told me that he couldn't do it because it was too cracked. He wasted 30 minutes of my time to tell me he couldn't do it after he had told me he could. read more

I live in Herriman and work in Bountiful. I came out to my car after work only to find that the right rear tire was nearly flat. I was able to drive carefully a couple of minutes to Discount Tire, and they happily repaired my tire. This is even more impressive when you consider that I showed up only 20 minutes before closing time. They were very fast, efficient, and kind. I'll be back when I need to buy tires! read more

Sorry, they might have good priced tires, but the customer service that takes place when you go in for a rotate is lacking. 2 hours to wait for a rotate is not acceptable. I'll spend a little more for my tires next time to make sure I have better customer service. (Tri-Angle Tire Service/Goodyear on US 89 has my recommendation. Ciao. read more

Isaac was by far the best part of my experience today! He was courteous, respectful, friendly, personable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, nice, efficient, thorough and just super awesome! I haven't had very many experiences or met very many customer service people even close to as awesome as Isaac! I sincerely appreciate him taking time to answer my questions and explain everything to me in detail. He put my mind at ease about the concerns and questions I had regarding the purchase of my new set of tires! I am thankful for Isaac's help! Please reward him for his exceptional customer service! Dylan, John and Brad were also very helpful, friendly and super fast in putting on my new tires. I was amazed that I got in right away and the entire experience was less than 30 min! It's common to go to one store only to find they don't have what you need & have them refer you to another store. What's not common is having the second store stay open late & take care of you. They were more concerned about my safety than anything else. I have been to multiple discount tire locations in the past & always have amazing experience. Tonight solidified why I will always support them read more

I bought tires from the Layton Discount Tire store and had a good experience. 4 days later I got a flat. I drove in to the Bountiful Discount Tire and Duncan helped me right away and got the destroyed flat tire replaced quickly. He and the other members of the team were helpful and friendly. They seemed to have great communication between themselves and customers. I also saw Duncan communicate some needed education to another customer. Thanks guys! read more

I got a flat tire at an inopportune time after 5 pm and I pulled into Discount tire in Bountiful. Being a discount tire customer ever since I moved to Utah (~8 years) makes me hesitant to write such a negative review, but Cally went out of his way multiple times to try and scam my wife and I out of money and waste our time. This review only reflects that of the bountiful store, as I've had great service at the one on state street and the one in Sandy. Go in to swap rims/snow tires onto my wife's car. They won't do it and say the rims were damaged do to improper installation. Great, since they were the ones that installed them last you would think they would take responsibility for that. Cally also decides to tell us we don't need snow tires as we have perfectly good all season tires. I didn't realize Cally is all knowing about how we use our car, but why do they sell snow tires if they aren't better than all season tires? I think it should be at the customers' discretion whether they need snow tires. After much arguing, multiple visits/phone calls and them trying to sell us new rims they offer us a new set at a discount. Then after they get the new rims in he tries to sell us a set of snow tires when the snow tires have less than 10,000 miles on them. They look brand new. After some arguing he agrees to install them and makes us feel as if they are unsafe when there is nothing wrong with them. After the swap he claims he has the right to keep the old rims, which was never even mentioned nor agreed upon. Why does he want the old rims if they are damaged I wonder? Maybe it's because they aren't actually damaged and are worth money. Also they are worth money as scrap as well for the metal. After more arguing get to take the rims home. After scrutinizing these so called damaged rims I have to say they don't actually appear damaged to me, but that's for another day and a question for a reputable tire shop. Either way bountiful tire lost a lifetime customer. There is just something wrong with this location and whatever you do, don't deal with Cally. He will lie to you just to make a buck. Extremely disappointed with not only this visit but the last 3 visits I've had to this location. Lie #1 - Rims are damaged Lie #2 - Need new tires Lie #3 - Told my wife that I agreed to let them keep the old rims $ Lost greater than $100 Time Lost greater than 10 hours Definitely in contention for worst customer service experiences of my life. read more

Awesome! I had a slow leak in one of my tires and stopped in today to ask if it was repairable since it was about one inch from the inside sidewall. One f the shop workers came out to the parking lot and said it probably would be repairable. The counter person was professional and courteous. I left them my keys and returned two hours later. While checking out they showed what was in the tire. When I asked how much this would cost they said it was free including the balancing! One other Kudo Point - they reset the tire light for me. What fantastic service for a freebie. I am not sure if this is done to attract new customers but I will be back when I need tires. read more

I had Discount Tire rotate the tires on my 2006 Subaru WRX on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011. The tires are mounted on Enkei RC-T4 wheels, a rare motorsport wheel that's expensive/difficult to find in the U.S. The workers damaged one of the wheels, dismissed my complaints and told me to buff out the metal burr caused by their tool with Turtle Wax. After posting an extremely critical review here and on Twitter, Discount Tire's corporate staff contacted me. That set the ball rolling. The local store management owned up to the damage and offered to have the wheel repaired at no cost to me. I agreed. The repair is pretty good... passable but not perfect. The nature of the damage meant the repair shop had to sand down a beveled edge on the wheel before painting over the powder coat. There are minor imperfections in the paint on close inspection, but nothing that would be visible from a few feet away. I will still see the impact of the damage, but others likely will not. Ultimately, I am impressed with the willingness of the Discount Tire at both the corporate and local level to set the situation right. The gold standard of customer service is to never have a problem and I'd have preferred to have avoided the entire situation. That was not the case here, but Discount Tire did an admirable job of responding to my complaints. As such, I've upgraded my original one-star review to a four-star. I will continue to recommend that friends and family use Discount Tire over lesser shops (*cough*BigO*cough*BurtBrothers*cough*), but with a caveat. read more

I am absolutely locked on Discount Tire 100%. I will continue to purchase and have all my tire needs and services done at Discount Tire. Their service has always been great and always surpassed my expectations. I always replace my tires there and I truly recommend purchasing the certificate they have which is a tire warranty. It is so worth it. If your tire is ever damaged, they replace it with a brand new tire for free. There were a couple times where I had a nail in the tire and it damaged it and another time my tire was basically cut badly and Discount Tire replaced the tire both times with a new tire at no charge what so ever. They also do all the rotation and balancing for free with you tire purchase. Their service is great, fast and very professional. read more
