I went in for a flat repair and found that oir tread was worn way down at only a third of the tire life. Zander and Chase took the time to unravel questions about manufacturer warranties and made up what the manufacturer refused to honor. I never felt pressured and they were helpful in a frustrating situation. Like anywhere, the prices start on the high end. I had a great experience here this morning. I showed up at my pre designated appointment time and was immediately helped. Due to covid-19 they had me pull in and wait in my car why the work was completed. It was kind of cool to sit there and watch these guys do their thing I didn't ask them too, but they removed all the old weights from my tires and then rebalanced them. They now drive smooth as silk! No vibration what so ever. And that's for all terrain tires. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. I definitely recommend making an appointment. I'll be back in 6,000 miles for another rotation and balance! read more

If you're young don't buy here ever! Went in to trade in my car and left with a 2020 thinking the paper work was done and the car was mine. A week later they call and say they need the car back and that the paperwork wasn't correct. Now I'm left with no car and bad credit because of them running my credit so much. I was visiting family from out of town and Hertz had handed me a rental car with a slow leaking tire. So I was facing the dilemma of what was going to become a flat tire while traveling out of town and about to be caught in a snowstorm on a holiday and weekend. I have been using Discount Tire in Bountiful for over 8 years. They have installed tires on my two cars and my pickup. They have great prices and the service after the sale was also very good. I had to put Winter snow tires on my Lame Toyota Prius to get up the hills in Bountiful in the winter. They have swapped from winter to summer tires for about 5 years. I was able to drive carefully a couple of minutes to Discount Tire, and they happily repaired my tire. Got a tire rotation and they cross threaded the lug and hub on the right front tire. Had to take my car to the our dealership and thankfully they were able to fix it. This store lied saying that the lug was already like that but if that were true they wouldn't have tried to put the lug back in and we would have received a call before picking it up. read more

Sorry, they might have good priced tires, but the customer service that takes place when you go in for a rotate is lacking. 2 hours to wait for a rotate is not acceptable. Being a discount tire customer ever since I moved to Utah (~8 years) makes me hesitant to write such a negative review, but Cally went out of his way multiple times to try and scam my wife and I out of money and waste our time. This review only reflects that of the bountiful store, as I've had great service at the one on state street and the one in Sandy. Go in to swap rims/snow tires onto my wife's car. They won't do it and say the rims were damaged do to improper installation. Great, since they were the ones that installed them last you would think they would take responsibility for that. Cally also decides to tell us we don't need snow tires as we have perfectly good all season tires. I didn't realize Cally is all knowing about how we use our car, but why do they sell snow tires if they aren't better than all season tires? I think it should be at the customers' discretion whether they need snow tires. After much arguing, multiple visits/phone calls and them trying to sell us new rims they offer us a new set at a discount. Then after they get the new rims in he tries to sell us a set of snow tires when the snow tires have less than 10,000 miles on them. They look brand new. After some arguing he agrees to install them and makes us feel as if they are unsafe when there is nothing wrong with them. After the swap he claims he has the right to keep the old rims, which was never even mentioned nor agreed upon. Why does he want the old rims if they are damaged I wonder? Maybe it's because they aren't actually damaged and are worth money. Also they are worth money as scrap as well for the metal. After more arguing get to take the rims home. After scrutinizing these so called damaged rims I have to say they don't actually appear damaged to me, but that's for another day and a question for a reputable tire shop. Either way bountiful tire lost a lifetime customer. There is just something wrong with this location and whatever you do, don't deal with Cally. He will lie to you just to make a buck. Extremely disappointed with not only this visit but the last 3 visits I've had to this location. Lie #1 - Rims are damaged Lie #2 - Need new tires Lie #3 - Told my wife that I agreed to let them keep the old rims $ Lost greater than $100 Time Lost greater than 10 hours Definitely in contention for worst customer service experiences of my life. read more

Awesome! I had a slow leak in one of my tires and stopped in today to ask if it was repairable since it was about one inch from the inside sidewall. One f the shop workers came out to the parking lot and said it probably would be repairable. The counter person was professional and courteous. I left them my keys and returned two hours later. While checking out they showed what was in the tire. When I asked how much this would cost they said it was free including the balancing! One other Kudo Point - they reset the tire light for me. What fantastic service for a freebie. I am not sure if this is done to attract new customers but I will be back when I need tires. read more

They arrived 2 days later, and the store promptly called me to let me know. The staff was also very accommodating in setting up an appointment in order to get them installed the next day. I had Discount Tire rotate the tires on my 2006 Subaru WRX on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011. The tires are mounted on Enkei RC-T4 wheels, a rare motorsport wheel that's expensive/difficult to find in the U.S. The workers damaged one of the wheels, dismissed my complaints and told me to buff out the metal burr caused by their tool with Turtle Wax. After posting an extremely critical review here and on Twitter, Discount Tire's corporate staff contacted me. That set the ball rolling. The local store management owned up to the damage and offered to have the wheel repaired at no cost to me. I agreed. The repair is pretty good... passable but not perfect. The nature of the damage meant the repair shop had to sand down a beveled edge on the wheel before painting over the powder coat. There are minor imperfections in the paint on close inspection, but nothing that would be visible from a few feet away. I will still see the impact of the damage, but others likely will not. Ultimately, I am impressed with the willingness of the Discount Tire at both the corporate and local level to set the situation right. The gold standard of customer service is to never have a problem and I'd have preferred to have avoided the entire situation. That was not the case here, but Discount Tire did an admirable job of responding to my complaints. As such, I've upgraded my original one-star review to a four-star. I will continue to recommend that friends and family use Discount Tire over lesser shops (*cough*BigO*cough*BurtBrothers*cough*), but with a caveat. read more

I am absolutely locked on Discount Tire 100%. I will continue to purchase and have all my tire needs and services done at Discount Tire. Their service has always been great and always surpassed my expectations. I always replace my tires there and I truly recommend purchasing the certificate they have which is a tire warranty. It is so worth it. If your tire is ever damaged, they replace it with a brand new tire for free. There were a couple times where I had a nail in the tire and it damaged it and another time my tire was basically cut badly and Discount Tire replaced the tire both times with a new tire at no charge what so ever. They also do all the rotation and balancing for free with you tire purchase. Their service is great, fast and very professional. read more

These guys are amazing! On the way to Bear Lake from Salt Lake with a car load of grumpy teenagers we ran over a screw in the sidewall in our brand new car. The tire was of course a special order tire. We pulled in and Adam loaned us a tire to get us on our way to save the trip to the lake and got us on our way with minimal wait on a Saturday morning too.
