Absolutely the worst service I've seen in a long time! I'm moving and have extremely little space to put a dumpster AND a 26' U-Haul. I.specifically asked about placement of the openable end so I have the end of the truck and the end of the U haul facing each other....yup, you guessed it! I would give negative stars if I could. this company is either completely incompetent or dishonest or probably both. 1st of all they are a middle man and just hire other dumpsters so this creates a lot of confusion. I ordered a dumpster which they say they could not be delivered in the driveway because a car was in the way. There was not. My 1st choice was to have it delivered in the back yard where the fence was torn down with ally access, one house in from the street with plenty of room for any dumpster to get in and out. They claimed it could not be delivered in either place so I had to reschedule and had to pay $125 extra for this. 2 days later it was delivered in the back yard without issue this time - nothing had changed to access, but the dumpster had 2 toilets (porta-poty's ) attached to it which I did not need or want or order. These reduced the size of the the dumpster and were locked anyway. Then I filled it and scheduled the day for pick up and it was confirmed. They failed to pick it up even though I called many times. promises after promises that they were coming. I had a new fence scheduled to be built the next day and needed it out. They got it out 2 days later. This cost me money on the fence project. Then a couple weeks later I get charged $45 on my credit card for having the dumpster extra days which I did not. Even with the 2 days extra which was there fault I was within the 2 weeks they allowed. They have not replied to my emails and I have disputed the charge with my credit card. I have used many roll offs over the years and this is the worst I have dealt with. Don't use discount dumpster !!! read more

Do not use this company. They are a third party and what they promise you they cannot really control. I signed a contract for a roll off and it didn't come the day they promised. It came 6 DAYS LATE! It actually arrived on the day they were supposed to pick it up. Our communication was horrible on the phone and they did not care to even try to make things right. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! In the future I will call REPUBLIC directly to rent a roll off and leave the middle comp out of it. read more

I do not recommend this company. They charged me an additional 200.00 because my neighbor was parked in front of the dumpster. I spoke with a woman about the incident as we have limited parking in my neighborhood she seemed understanding , then proceeded to tell me her driver came to my front door, he did not I was sitting in my living room and I also reviewed my ring to make sure I did not miss him while I made coffee or something. The driver never left his truck. They scheduled me a new pick up I asked the neighbor one the day of the new pick up not to park in front of the dumpster, everything went fine and now here we are 3 weeks later and the charged my card 200. This was a very shady company whom waited to charge me so hopefully I wouldn't notice. I called and tried to explain this has all already been taken care of and she told me her driver said it was a vaild charge. I understand that they cannot give you an ETA time. But what I don't understand is that I was told different things each time I called. When I booked the dumpster, the lady Alisha told me they normally do pick ups in the morning... so it will be the afternoon. She also said to call back the day of, and they can let me know a window time. Well calling the day of around 9am, my window time is 6am-6pm. Ok, big window... but I'll call back and see if there is an update. I called at 4pm... the guy I spoke to said my window is still by 6pm so just wait for that. It is now 7:30pm and still no dumpster. They close at 5pm so I can't even speak to someone. So what does this mean? Running late? Not coming until tomorrow? Is it coming at all?! I'm furious due to the fact that they don't have their info correct. Don't tell me it will come in the afternoon... or by the end of my window time... when that is obviously inaccurate. I wish I could give 0 stars with this review for the Colorado Springs location. Update: the dumpster finally came the next morning at 7am. Unfortunately I lost out on my down payment to my landscaper due to it being late. They worked with me, and I received a $100 refund. Dumpster was picked up on 7/6/21. However... now today 8/23/21... I receive an invoice in my email stating the dumpster was overweight and that my card has already been charged the $51 and some change. I have seen bad reviews of others complaining about getting an overweight charge when in fact it was impossible to be overweight. Same situation with me, so I took pictures as the truck was loading it up and hauling it away. A few weeds, trash bags, and some tiny sticks are not going to make it overweight. I am demanding a refund and just want to be done with this incompetent company. Cody, who claims to be a manager (even though the website says he's a inside sales rep) said he's going to gather info on how much it weighed and get the proof. I received my charge invoice at 12:30 pm today, I wrote them back around 1:30pm... and Cody called me about 15 minutes later and said he would get back to me today. It's currently 4:25pm, they close at 5pm, and I haven't heard anything yet. I will update again. The photo I uploaded is the truck taking the dumpster we had filled. You can clearly see that there is a ton of room inside. Nothing heavy was just put into it. Update: Cody did call me before they closed. He stated that it takes a couple of days to get the weight paperwork, but he is trying to get it tomorrow and just wanted to let me know. (Makes me wonder if they need more time to fabricate something.) I asked him, "Cody you said you are the manager correct?" He replied yes... "Then why does the website say you are an inside sales rep?".... With a slight beginning stutter he then told me that it's pretty new, like a couple months, and the website must not be updated yet. This was my first time using a dumpster. I used the one in Lakewood. They sent me some disclosures to sign which I didn't since I didn't understand their bunch of conditions. They said that there was 3 days window but never said the time frame. I called the day before asking for the time to arrive since I had something to do early in the morning. They arrived when I wasn't there and then they left. They charged me $200 without doing anything. When I called about it, they said that that was in the disclosures even I never signed them. I use dumpsters frequently being in construction. I used Discount Dumpsters due to the usual company was not available when I needed a dumpster. They arrived and I was asked to move my car due to the fact the driver was new and "just in case". The dumpster was thenput in place. They did not tell me that I would have a 2 20ft gouges 3" wide down my driveway. I have used, Bin There Dump That, a lot. Never issues like this with them. Same size dumpster . I learned they are worth waiting for. They also sweep up the area and leave it clean. This company did none of that. They picked the dumpster up a day late without communicating this to me. I had to call to see when they were coming to get it. I reported the damage to my driveway the following day after it was delivered and was given the "take pictures and we will get back to you"... well they never got back to me. I called twice after sending pictures and spoke to a customer service rep in detail about the damage and why would they not tell me there would be a possibility of the driveway damaged. She, customer service rep, said they were having a meeting the day I called and it would be discussed then. I did not get any kind of reply about the damage but they did charge me $10.99 for the load being slightly over the weight limit. Really..??? I used this company at My Arizona home and here is what happen, Rented a dumpster for $450 but orginally quoted me $500 then they offered a discount. They say that you cant fill their dumpsters over the line but dont talk about the 2 ton weight limit. We filled our dumpster up with about 1/2 way with trash and two mattresses notting out of the ordinary. No dirt no concrete nothing like that! They called us 3 days early to see if we were done with the dumpster because they had a shortage and would appreciate if we could turn in ealry. We were done and I was happy to help them out. One month goes by and they call me saying we went over the weight limit by 1.8 tons. They are saying that what we had in this dumpster weighed 7,000 lbs whichI find very very hard to beleive. I disputed the charge and they said because there was some confusion when they went back and played the recorded call of my rental they will lower the $120 charge to $84. I still said I dont believe that they weighed my container and there was no way that it weighed 7,000 and a whole month went by how can they some back and expect me to pay this. Well they didnt care and Clint Echols charged my card on file without my consent which over drafted my account. If I could give negative stars I would. Some dude who works there sent me a contract with an incorrect pickup date with I overlooked because we verbally agreed on a different date. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at my job site to find the rolloff GONE. I called and spoke to a manager who told me he'd give me a whopping discount ($50) off and have a new one out to me in 2 days. So, lets get this straight: Dumpster gets picked up on the on the incorrect verbally agreed upon date, and THE MOST you are willing to do is give me $50 off on an entire new order?? Manager proceeded to tell me that with that $50 'discount', their company wouldn't even be making money off the order. When I asked him to elaborate on how in the world their business model only allows for a profit margin of $50 per order he VERBATIM said, "you wouldn't understand." That's right. My lady brain managed to get an MBA, but this would be beyond me. Manager was then kind enough to dispense some life advice for my lady brain, "you should probably read contracts." Cool. Well, here's a little advice from me: when someone at your company screws up and gets fired, practice a fraction of damage control. This company does not own any dumpsters...they just broker the deal and then contracts them from other dumpster companies. This causes poor communication and service on delivering the dumpster. Once you sign the contract they can't care less about how the execution of the delivery is performed. In my experience using them...which will be the last time I use this company...they placed the dumpster in absolutely the worst place because the driver who was instructed to call ME...never did. This caused numerous issue with the job. Communication is paramount when doing remodels and this company has no skin in the game. My advice to anyone looking for a rental dumpster is to steer clear of this company and go find a company that owns there own dumpsters. Discount Dumpster may have a good tag line but they are actually more expensive than other companies...don't be fooled...look around for more reputable businesses. read more
