They're local, responsive, super affordable, and genuinely care about their customers. When you call, a real person answers the phone, not a call center. They're flexible with scheduling and helped us out last time when our timeline shifted. Unfortunately, when we needed another dumpster recently, they didn't have availability for a few days, so we went with someone else (Humpty Dumps) -- and it was a disaster. We paid more for less service and zero flexibility. Lesson learned. Sam's Hauling was a much better overall experience and cost. If you want to make your clean-out project easier and less stressful, call them first.

There have been giant holes in our hearts ever since he died. This is one of the reasons we always participate in "Dining Out For Life." The Angels took such good care of him before he passed, oh so many years ago. A simple check on him and the dropping off of food made me feel better when I couldn't be there. He would get a kick out of the idea that the ball-n-chain and I were out eating and drinking beer and toasting his name. "Drink to me" were Pablo Picasso's last words. Thomas was an artist and would have been down with that. There are always people at the event who have envelopes so you can drop off an extra bit of money for the cause. I highly encourage it. If I win the lotto, this is where my money is going.

Just used this service and it was amazing. I had purchased a bagster at Home Depot for $30.00 and filled it with all of our materials from a bathroom remodel plus an old gas fireplace and various odd and ends from our garage. I was planning to call Waste Management to pick it up when my contractor told me about these guys. We had the bag in our garage, off to the side. With Waste Management you have to put the bag either in your driveway or sidewalk and when filled to the brim it can be hard to push, pull and position. Nathan and his team backed their truck into my driveway and emptied the entire bag within 10 minutes and even folded it up nicely (back to it's original size). I didn't have to lift a finger or try to figure out where to place it for easy pickup for Waste Management. Total cost with Waste Management would have been $150.00 ($30.00 bag + Waste Management pickup fee of $120.00). I was quoted a price of $99 and that saved me over $50 - and I get to keep the bag. Scheduling with Nathan was easy and he was extremely accommodating to my schedule. I recommend these guys 100% and plan to use them over and over. read more

I unknowingly called after hours, but still was able to get someone from their team on the phone, which was great since I had to leave messages and submit online forms to the other competitors that I tried. The associate quickly and professionally took my information and was able to book 1 of his trucks and a crew of 3 to come to my house 3 days later. The arrival time that he mentioned to me on the phone was spot on, and the group of 3 guys did an absolutely amazing job, working through the heat and only stopping to drink the water that I offered them. They cleaned up everything and were very nice and respectful when I chatted with them. I would recommend The Junk Trunk to anyone looking for fast, efficient and professional removal of essentially ANYthing! read more

Nathan and his team were able to remove the junk from my father's home and did an excellent job. The pricing was reasonable and everything was move quickly and efficiently with overall professionalism. In my case, Nathan truly was a life saver. My father was scheduled to meet Nathan for a quote on junk removal as he prepared to move from his home of over 30 years. When no one answered my father's door Nathan called me. His call alerted me to something being wrong with my father and saved his life when he was found unconscious inside his home shortly after. Not sure this is the type of service Nathan had planned to provide me, but he receives my family's unending gratitude for it. read more

It still amazes me when I'm able to run into good people that are so willing to help and assist In the time of need. Bryan, Antonio,Tim and Mitch were so willing to assist me as I had no more strength to lift my dresser and other items during my move day. Without hesitation they came to my rescue. Even though they could have continued on about there business hauling and loading there truck they went out of there way to assist. I never thought I would say this but , I love the junk trunk ! I called and spoke to nathan and he responded right away ! I said I had junk sitting on my driveway that I wanted to get rid of and he said he would see what he could do . Nathan got back to me quickly and said he could have someone by me at the end of the day. It was not even a few hours later and he showed up with his awesome truck and took all of it away. I debated between 4 and 5 stars, but ended up giving 5. Best price and very helpful workers. I was not a glamorous job of digging up and removing bricks from a back yard. The guys did it efficiently and always communicated when they had a concern. Only issues, it was originally scheduled for a day earlier but they didn't bring proper tools. I had let owner know exactly what the job was. Not a huge deal since my schedule was pretty flexible during the week. I can definitely recommend this company. I had a very hard job for Nathan and his crew and they crushed it! We were moving out and had furniture, shelving, mattresses, and a number of other heavy items including a tv and an old fridge. Not only did they take care of everything incredibly fast, but they cleaned up after and charged us way less then the quotes we got from other services. They did an excellent job of carefully moving the larger furniture out of the house for us. I hired The Junk Trunk to remove an old couch and recliner chair for me. Nathan was very nice on the phone. He gave me the price at the time of my call, and that price did not change. He gave me a one-hour window for arrival, and was here toward the beginning of that time frame. He and his partner were VERY careful removing the furniture, and never hit a single part of my walls, doors, railing, etc. I would highly recommend them! read more

I called them on a Sunday and needed someone ASAP - they came out Monday morning first thing. The two guys on the crew were polite and professional - and worked fast to get everything I needed out. They showed up a little before the appointed time and had the items in their truck in about 10 minutes. They were very cordial and efficient. I will use them again.
