Pricing for cartons is definitely cheaper than most places in the bay area. If I'm in the area I'll stop by for a carton of smokes. The guys that work here are friendly. The parking lot is a little small but generally people are in and out in the plaza. read more

I don't smoke. I walked in to ask a question about empty boxes. It is quiet. There are no other customers. 5 Star review that could have been: A simple answer in return. I say thank you and walk out. 1 Star review instead: A simple answer, PLUS A WHOLE A LOT of their own language among three men at top of their lungs while I was in the store. Yes, I did not understand a word, but yes, I know and you know when somebody is talking about you, esp. badly even though you don't know the language they use. It's called instinct. Discount Cigs recently opened. it's next to a barber shop, near a men's clothing and not to far from goodwill's. store layout is the typical u with four cabinets of humorized 'gars.on the right side. many 'gars represented from cohiba (15ish), cao's to the 2.99 #2 cigars smoke: padron ($5ish) short story type -surprising price. maybe smaller ones cheaper than the $10 long ones i'm used to. 'gar kind of harsh in beginning, very strong finish. not a lot of taste. 3 stars -90 point rating by cigar aficiando? ashes: -4 stars for the amount of inventory carried. -prices seem reasonable, volume buying claimed by owner. -maduros not readily visible. -lots of parking. read more

I visited Discount Cigarettes & Cigars today due to needing to find some good cigars to handout to my close friends once my wife gives birth to our son (any day now). Having done my research I learned a few things... 1. You must buy cigars to give out when the baby arrives. (The birth of your child only happens once) 2. You should never hand out cheap cigars. (If they don't smoke it then it is pointless and you don't want your friends to tie poor quality to the birth of your child. It's a celebration) So I needed to get the low down on what a quality cigar should be and what was important to the connoisseur. The gentleman that owned the location just had a child as well (a boy named Elias - my apologies if I misspelled). He being an aficionado took the time to explain the differences in tastes, color and burn (how long the cigar should last). He asked what my budget was and how many people I would share with. Once we figured out the math he produced 12 Rocky Patel - Edge Robusto Corojo he said that they are quality cigars for reasonable cost. He then gave me a nice wood box to put them in and gave me (for Free) two cigar cutters. I left feeling we got great value and excellent service. Now I just need to wait for my son to show up. Im a college student, came in on the first warm day of spring to look around on a sunday before heading to get my morning coffee, I was asked by an employee why I didn't always dress how I was dressed that day (shorts and long sleeve sweater) I replied I dressed like this today because it was warm, and I don't usually do so because I hate being hit on by men, he asked me why, I replied because im gay really just wanting to be left alone and having shopped here before, I continued to look at products and he literally said to me across the store after id tried to get him to stop, he said "I bet youre not wearing a bra with that", I did buy insence and left.. I will not be back despite the owner being nicer, because the other employee is out of control and nothing is ever done about it, I was absolutely wearing a bra thank god, but it made my skin crawl, they have zero respect or consideration for custumers and it ruined my nice day, seriously disgusted, ill call the owner and give him a heads up but im still posting this and not shopping there again because on some levels they choose the way the present and treat people and frankly don't deserve anyones business read more

This was the first time that I ever visited discount cigarettes and I really liked every aspect of it. I am from out of town and I wanted to pick up some cigars for my golf trip. I knew exactly what I wanted before I arrived. When I walked into the shop the owner was very welcoming. While I was picking my cigars I was shocked by the great sellection of cigars.
