I was told I'd get a call back in 3 hours with an update--two full days went by without a single call. When I finally heard back, they gave me an absurdly high quote. I agreed to it anyway because I needed my car for work. Then they held my car for another three days just to tell me they couldn't fix the headlight--at a Ford service center, no less. They also tried to fix the A/C and failed at that too. To top it all off, they didn't even screw the under-shield back in properly, and it ended up dragging under my car while I was driving. The customer service was terrible from start to finish. No one was friendly, helpful, or professional. I strongly recommend taking your car anywhere else but here. Total waste of time and money. If i could give them a negative start i would.

I spoke with Gary Ernest, and he told me to have them tow it there and they would take a look at it. The Hero Unit that came to my rescue had said it was my alternator after checking it out. Well, after I had it towed to Ernest Motors, they checked it out and confirmed that's exactly what had happened. Note, I bought my car there about five years ago, so this was not a fresh purchase, and alternators do go bad over time, so this was normal. They made a call and had the part sent over to them. While I was inside, and trying to find someone who could pick me up, they came in and said "your car's ready to go". I was shocked, as I thought I would have to leave it there, or have it towed to a shop to have the work done. They actually put the new alternator in my car and sent me on my way. Thank you Gary and Eric for fixing my problem, let alone within an hour! If that's not a dealership that stands behind their cars and then, after a few years of owning the car, goes above and beyond.... Just saying, they are AMAZING people! During the purchase discussion, the dealership insisted that the full payment be made in cash and refused to accept a check or any other traceable payment method. That immediately raised concerns for me. A legitimate dealership should normally be able to accept documented forms of payment that provide protection for both the buyer and the seller. When I asked questions about paperwork and the transaction process, they continued to push for cash only. Because of these red flags, I decided to walk away from the deal. I'm sharing this experience so other buyers can proceed carefully. Before purchasing a vehicle anywhere, make sure you verify the dealer's licensing status, confirm the title is available, and avoid situations where you are pressured to pay large amounts of cash. They told me that the clearcoat was redone on this vehicle and that everything was in good working condition. then they talked me into putting down $1000 deposit which I was very skeptical of. I drove from Tennessee to Georgia to pick up this vehicle and it was pouring the rain when I got there the vehicle was filthy so I didn't look it over as good as I should have. Once I got it home I discovered that someone had repainted the hood, the front fenders, and the roof, but this person should never have a paint gun in their hand because it was horrible the clearcoat on the doors and the tailgate is in terrible condition. I got an estimate to fix the paint issues and it's over $3200. I have replaced the CV axles, struts and shocks, and brakes and rotors on this vehicle as well as repaired/repainted several interior panels because of the damage. The bottom line here is if going to purchase a vehicle from these people make sure that you thoroughly check everything before you buy.

When I would let them know about the car issues months afterwards, I would hear those famous universal words. 'AS IS'! Well not at LUX MOTORS! The two owners who are brothers only do business one way. And that way is Honorable. I purchased a car from them and months later I took it to a certified European mechanic's shop for a performance issue. Don't get me wrong the car drove well when I took it to them, and they kept the car for a month stating that it needed this and that costing me $3000. When I went to pick the car up the check engine light was on, and the car wouldn't run. I talked to Lux Motors where I purchased it from and asked them for help to fix it. My Porsche was towed to them in terrible shape. The two Lux owners and brothers replaced the damaged parts done by the other mechanics shop and paid for it out of their own pocket because they knew that I was done a mis service by the European car specialist. Who does that, but very incredibly, honest, caring and the most honorable people. They didn't have to do it. But they went above and beyond the call of duty. My Porsche now runs like a brand-new car, amazingly well. I just want to let anyone know that rather you live in Georgia or out of state and you're looking for a good dealership that will sell you a good car with great customer service before and after you buy. They should have inspected the vehicle before selling it like this. Or at least let me know it had this issue. This could have been very bad. Additionally they said it was recently serviced, yet it still has filters from when the previous owner. Not just the oil but the fuel filters and the transmission fluid is also quite old. The brakes need replaced and the tires are dry rotted...
