Colonial GMC Service department used to have great customer service. The best in the industry. over the last Year or so it has dropped dramatically. They seem very disinterest in your business and whatever issues you are having with your car. The attitude has become condescending and blunt. Too bad. I hate to see a good organization lose its focus on customer service. Find another service department for your car. The drive is worth it. read more

I bought a 2019 Encore yesterday from Colonial. It may have been the best car buying expireince I have ever had. My sales person Chris Jones was very helpful & I left knowing everything I need to understand about the car. Great Price! I met the owner (locally owned) Wonderful man. Loganville was worth the drive. read more

This has to be the worst place ever to get your car fixed. They are the worst, Clay and the service manager. All they want is your money and constantly say you need new tires and they seem to fight you against you warranty...they all seem racist. I've never seen a black person there. If you want quality care from GMC, please go to Jim Ellis, the customer service is impeccable. I bought my car from Jim Ellis but went to Colonial because it was closer to my house... big mistake, I'll take the drive and you should too. read more

They do great work but their service technicians can't seem to clean up after themselves this is after an oil change its not the first time I have had this issue with colonial. read more

This dealership is all about the money, not about taking care of the customer! I have to repeat this, Colonial GMC is only about the money! Colonial GMC has zero morals, zero professionalism, zero integrity, and if they cannot get GM or someone other than the dealership to cover the cost, well the customer will NOT be taken care of. I wonder if they treat their own mothers like this? They will agree you have issues with your vehicle and even say they are sorry, but at the end of the day they offer ZERO solutions. I brought my GMC Canyon Denali in for an oil change. This was the closest GMC dealer to my house. When I arrived, I showed the service adviser a few issues that needed to be addressed at a later date, dash trim panel was bent from the factory, back up camera was blurry, front camera displayed inoperative, radio had frozen up, Apple CarPlay wouldn't work, the driver information center displayed Chevrolet, not GMC, and a few rattles. He looked up my account and said you have a GM Certified warranty, so you have until 48,000 miles to bring it back to get the issues fixed. He never said that the issues would not be covered or that they would not be covered by the Certified part of my warranty. Well, when it came time for the dealership to act on what the service adviser said, nothing but excuses. I have 2,000 miles until the warranty is up, but it might as well been expired. All this dealership is good at is lip service. They blamed GM for them not being able to fix my issues and even said that the quality recently was in question. I had pictures and video s showing the issues. Do you think they wanted me to email this to them, NO? The reason is they had no intention of fixing my truck. They did not even offer me another solution. I told them I do not expect something for nothing, but I would think you would want to work with me. NO, WRONG AGAIN! All I got was the typical excuse, "we could not duplicate the issue" and it doesn't matter you have pictures or video. Really!?! In all fairness, they did fix the Chevrolet in the driver information center, I guess GM paid for it. There only recommendation is to call the number on the back of your owners manual. Save yourself time, go somewhere else for sales, service, and parts! How they sleep at night is beyond me! read more

Bought a used car in January 2018 during the week of snow.A couple of weeks later turned on air only to find no cold air, also got email to turn on on star because they gave me 3-months free, it also didn't work. Took it back and found out compressor was bad, they charged me $200 to fix and said they would not fix on star blue tooth system that the vcim module was bad.I argued but no satisfaction,it was a really clean car with only 67,000 miles on it. They should have checked this out before selling,i also should have checked.I will not do business with them again. Please check out everything before purchasing if you buy a used car at this dealer. Go see Patricia immediately! She made this process so easy and smooth for me. I told her what I was looking for and she searched to find what would work for me in my price range. I've never had such a great experience purchasing a vehicle. If I could give more stars I would. She was honest and seemed to really care about meeting my needs. I will be referring anyone in the market to her. read more

Had oil change and tire rotation service at Colonial and it was done before I expected. Great service!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE! I bought a car from Phil and patricia that turned out needing a new ac compressor, cv axel, and digital screen replaced, and now it has a transmission leak. I have taken the vehicle back to colonial sent home with a rental only to pick my vehicle up a week later In the same condition if not worse . I keep getting told lie after lie . Patricia accused me of causing these issues ..yet the car history report shows issues dated prior to me purchasing. I have had to take legal action against this company. . We relocated from California to Georgia and looked to get my wife's car which is a Buick Cascada an oil change.I looked on yelp for a Buick dealer and was directed to Colonial Buick. I scheduled an appointment and arrived to discover my wife's tire had a nail in it but since a service includes a full inspection and tire rotation I assumed that it would be discovered and repaired.Service advisor call me in from waiting over an hour later with a scheduled appointment and said service was completed and all that was included and everything was good. Well I looked and tires were not rotated as I was told because the nail I had discovered that very morning was still in tire that they said they had rotated.Honesty and integrity is not inclusive with Colonial Buick. Regretfully I had to return for another appointment service the day after Christmas because they are the nearest Buick dealership and was told that an oil change would be an hour to an hour and a half. After my car was sitting in the bay 25 minutes before being told the wait time. I will no longer be taking my car to Colonial Buick in Loganville,Ga read more

DO NOT BUY FROM COLONIAL GMC in Loganville!!!! They sell RAT INFESTED cars to pregnant women....well probably to anyone for that matter. Bump or not. If I were you I would bump my way on out the door and take myself elsewhere! They take no responsibility whatsoever and want the customer's to bend over backwards to fix a problem that was theirs in the first place. Yes buying used is AS -IS but it's also supposed to be LEGALLY driveable! read more

Clay here always knows what he is talking about. We have had a few minor issues here, but 90% of the time everything is great. They are far more trustworthy than any roadside quick fix shop! read more

I "WAS" a 23 years patron of this business until this month, August 2018. They advertised a vehicle's sales price (2012 Arcadia, customer loaner car with over 135K miles) online and then changed the price once I got to the dealership even though I had proof of the offered price from their website that was still on my phone which I showed them before they changed it. The sales manager, Mr. Cook did not respond to my BBB rebuttal. The following is my rebuttal: I find Mr. Cook's response and explanations to be atypical. Simply, blame it on a computer glitch or error. That's the safest and legal way to deflect responsibility. He states that the consumers are always suspect and think that the auto industry is distrusting even though they may have made an error. Well, sir, your industry created this environment. And the example you used in advertising this vehicle only adds to the distrust. This was not a glitch or cut and paste error. It was clearly illustrated on your website as to how the price was calculated. Up to the point where you advertised how there was a special on your 2012 loaner cars and were reducing them by $6000.00. It is true, that I was not switched towards another car, so I will agree to remove the word switched; however, the bait was set and caused me to come into your dealership. As to your internet manager, his behavior was again very rude and he never addressed the issue with me he simply made his "off the cuff " remark "(price is the price that's in the computer)" and abruptly walked away. Mr. Craig, my sales rep, did attempt to help him out by saying that it may be a cut and paste error. I was the only person inside the dealership and even arrived early before the sales reps "(the Internet Manager walked pass me twice and did not greet or acknowledge me even though he saw me)." I'm sure he would have greeted me if I were Mr. Hollis, the owner standing there. No matter how busy or distracted he may have been. There was one other customer with his family on the lot when I arrived and they too were looking at this same vehicle. Although I found a salesman who had the key I told him that they were there first and if they wanted the car to let them look at it and I would wait to see if they purchased. They did not as I am sure they too learned of the so-called computer glitch selling price. Finally, Mr. Cook stated that "the vehicle would not have stayed on our website once we had a chance to service it as it did not pass our service inspection." This is not true because the car was offered for sale next to other used cars on the retail lot. It contained descriptive information and a sales price sticker. It was not on their back lot which has a fence around it where they store cars before they are placed on the retail lot for sale or is sent to the auction. read more

Went to buy a truck felt like I was being pushed into it.chris Jones sales man said to me I don't care if you buy it or not someone will buy it if you don't.made me upset then I was taken inside and approached by a older lady Danielle To look at paperwork for my trade in.upon all This my wife is in the show room and she asked me what are you doing later.i asked what she gave me her number and asked me to call her sometime.i got up and asked what kind of place is this.chris said we do anything to sell a car and make a customer happy and laughed.i asked to speak to the manager and Chris informed me he was the manager.I have since contacted GM corporate about this I will not give our name for privacy reasons now.this just happened last month 9/27/2019 this place is a joke don't buy from here read more

Awesome place to buy a car or truck. You really feel like you are part of the family the way they treat you. You are not just a number but someone they will take care of before the sale and after. I will never go anywhere else to buy a car or truck (GMC or Buick). Honestly the way they treat you, you are better off staying with the brands they carry! read more

Absolute dream car buying experience. This facility is very clean and professional. I am very satisfied with my new Toyota. Joe and Bryan were both very honest, helpful and friendly. They made sure that it was perfect before handing the keys over to me. Left feeling like family and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. This is the second car I have purchased from them and I always go there for service on my GMC vehicles. They are top notch. My salesperson Josef was excellent. He was no pressure as I requested. He answered all of my questions very thoroughly. When I took delivery, he gave me a very detailed orientation of the vehicle which is only slightly less complicated than a space shuttle. I am confident that I got the best price I could have gotten anywhere. read more

The salesmen at this dealership are douche bags. Don't ever get on their calling list. They will continue to call several times a day, even after you have asked them to stop. Reported to FTC! read more

The job of a used car salesman is to get as much money as he can squeeze out of the buyer. The job of the buyer is to do his/her research, follow a step by step plan in order to get the best possible deal and be prepared to walk a away from the deal no matter how beautiful the car is. I wanted to bring in an outside mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection of the car, but I was told by the salesman that the technicians there had inspected the car. They must have missed the broken high pressure power steering line. Never buy a used car without getting a pre-purchase inspection, especially from Colonial Buick GMC. I recommend Your Mechanic mobile mechanics. The best $84 you'll ever spend for a car purchase. read more

I am one of those people who will never feel all warm and fuzzy in a car dealership, and I am certainly not in their favorite customer list .. My wife recently purchased a used vehicle through this particular dealership and I payed close attention to every aspect of the transaction. She is very smart and capable, but a lovely female and I am skeptical of Car salesmen. Nothing personal, it's just not the best of reputations, but back to reviewing ... I have personally driven her vehicle for a couple of thousand miles and I have no complaints with the dealer or their representation of the vehicle. It did not have an owners manual, which I thought was very odd, being only two years old, but the Dealer had one sent to us. My main concern was warranty and any past issues. The manufacture's warranty is still intact and honored at any Chevy dealer and all records were made available to us. It's still a dealership with all of the seemingly useless going back and forth between Salesman and Manager, but that is to be expected. Overall, it was nothing unexpected or uncomfortable, and certainly on the less complicated end of a used car buying experience. I would have no problem with myself or my wife purchasing a new or used vehicle from them again. read more

From beginning until end nothing but problems, 1st took over 20 days to pay off trade in, receptionists incredibly rude and disrespectful and god forbid if they should have to get off their butt and actually "look" to see if someone is there or not. Finally got info for tag after sent to wrong address, took 24 days and it is done ELECTONICALLY, this leaves you 3 days to make time to go to tag office before 30 day penalty hits. And if you are the type of person who likes to stay on top of your own business and know what is going on well forget that because nobody is going to call you back. I can not stress how unprofessional everyone I had contact with at this place is, do yourself a favor...go somewhere else unless you like to be lied to over and over and blown off. read more

They need to ensure that they confirmed their inventory of an in stock car. I called earlier in the afternoon to check stock on a car, was told that they still had it, then drove 30 minutes from Athens to look at it. Do NOT take your vehicle to this dishonest dealership. Their technicians do not know what they are doing & the service manager couldn't care less. My 2017 SUV had a water leak in the rear that they could NOT find. Instead of admitting they couldn't find it, they made up a complete lie. When I took it in, they advised they would need to keep it for a few days. A week later they finally called to inform me that it wasn't fixed but I owed them money for trying because it had been wrecked & repaired before I bought it. They said the water was, most likely, coming in around the third brake light...this light has NO access to the inside of the vehicle so it isn't possible for water to get inside the vehicle from there. Not only were they not qualified to do the work, they weren't even smart enough to make up a lie that was believable. We took it to a regular body shop this week...the leak has been found (no where near the third brake light) & we have also been assured that there are NO signs that it was ever in an accident. There should be a negative score choice for place like this that lie & cheat customers!!! read more

had a truck with 2000 miles on truck, it rode rough, they checked truck said it had flat spots on two tires, they wanted to charge me $19,95 to balance tires and bring back to replace tires, i told them to put new tires on truck and pick up in two hours the service writer was very rude to me. told me i was mad, yes i was mad i did not want to pay $19.95 for a truck with 2,000 miles and i did not want to bring back, he walked away and left me sitting in truck sorry service for warrenty work read more

I brought my car in on 08/21/15 for a motor mount replacement. I picked it up on 08/22/15 and the A/C was making a clicking noise. On 08/23, the A/C stopped cooling. I called on 08/24/15 and was told that this was not due to the work done on 08/22/15. I brought the car back on 08/24/15 to have it checked. The service advisor finally called me 2 days later on 08/26/15 and said I had a leak in one of the hoses. It was going to cost $555 to repair. Outrageous!!! I was assured that no components of the A/C system were touched. However, I truly find that hard to believe. The A/C was working perfectly fine when I brought it in for the motor mount replacement. Then when I picked it up, the A/C did not work. The car was in the possession of the dealership and no one else. The motor mount was a warranty item, so there was no revenue to the dealership. Maybe there was a reason that I had to come back. On another note, I was given a loaner car on 08/24/15. This was the filthiest car that I had ever borrowed. There were sticky spots from spilled drinks, ashes all over the place and a nasty odor from cigarettes. I cannot believe that a dealership would loan a car in that condition. I am always made to feel incompetent when I call or come to your dealership. I cannot tear apart and rebuild an engine, but I do know some things about cars. This service visit will be my last service visit. Ever. read more
