We looked at the old one and how it connected to the small circuit board (used to control charge rate) and he told me that he could tack weld two short strips onto each pole of the new battery so that I could easily solder to them again. I'm an electronics guy so I do have the proper ultra-high temp soldering pen (750 degrees and variable) to do this job correctly. All went smoothly and my wife is happy to have her outdoor speaker working once again. This is my Go-To place for batteries.

(Because I just replaced one.) He didn't say much. Came back 5mins later said he replaced both but did not test. When I said I only wanted one could he please him to swap out only the one that was dead. He said he threw away the batteries so he couldn't do that. Again I only wanted one battery. He refused Then took both fobs batteries out and said he refused service. Gave me both key fobs back empty without batteries. I wouldn't have been able to run my car it's a hybrid without the one FOB that was good. As he said he threw them away. I don't understand why he couldn't have just done one. Why he caused all that commotion. Now I had to call the police to go to the store. Imagine how awful. He finally put my old batteries back in.

He spent a considerable amount of time helping me find a solution and worked with me outside in the Florida heat until everything was resolved. Throughout the entire process, Ed remained positive, patient, and genuinely committed to helping. When I tried to give him a tip for going so far above and beyond, he politely refused and said, "I just hope someone would treat my wife the same way." That statement says everything about his character. In a world where great customer service seems increasingly rare, Ed delivered exceptional service with kindness, professionalism, and a smile. Interstate Batteries is fortunate to have an employee who represents the company so well. Thank you, Ed. I appreciate you!
