Yeah-I'm always up for a good deal but my time waiting in line to check out is worth something too. We did find some items to buy (they have a lot of new red-white-and blue stuff for sale now). Yes, I found a cute 4T Fourth of July outfit, but left it when I realized I would have stood in the line maze over 15 minutes to purchase it.

My friend introduced me to this store a couple months ago, and Ive been going there a couple more time ever since. This is a discount store so items here are not used but older style, out-of-date, and probably a lot of open box items too. They have knick knacks, household items, kitchen items, pet toys, baby-related items, kid toys, cards, office and stationery, seasonal and holiday items, a little canned and packaged foods, men and women clothings and shoes, jewelery, hand bags and other accessories. I really like knick knacks here. They have quite a few worthy and cute knick knacks and home deco. I bought very cute jar candles for only 99 cent each. The jewelry section is somewhat nice. They have ok earing selections with store brand tags (like Macy's, Kohl's) for only 1.99 to 3.99 a pair. The clothing and shoes section are a hit or miss. Some items are incredibly old, very out of date, and very expensive for this kind of store. I once saw a very old-style dress for almost 50 bucks, but they also have nice things. I bought myself a very nice looking CK sweater for only 6 bucks. I dont really care for hand bag selections here. Overall, still a nice store to walk around and browse things if you are in the area, but I dont know if it's really worth going out of your way just to come here.

Seriously, if you are driving by, there is nothing really to pull you into this place. The location is in an industrial area off of Kasota Ave and Hwy 280. Why would you? Well let me tell you why. It is open to the public and the place is a trip as it has everything from tools, food, clothing, kids toys, electronics, home goods, etc. If you're a fan of Axeman or Milaca Unclaimed Freight, it scratches all those itches of weird and random bargains. You name it, it probably has come through here at one point. Remember the game Operation? Ya pick out the the body parts with tweezers and try not to light the nose? $5 which was down from the discounted price of $10. The Easter baskets and stuffing I bought to load up as presents? Free. The dozen crayola colored pencils to add to those baskets? 50 cents each. The big screen TV's and some other things I saw were over priced but the lady said they would entertain all offers if they are reasonable. I mean, they had air hoses next to garden planters and straps and good grief! They simply carry a lot of random shite. Did I mention circular saw blades? Yep, they had those too. My guess is this something you need to be checking out on a regular basis. They're also selling some of the stuff on web. See the about this business notes for details on those shenanigans.

When you get so many neat little trinkets and treasures together in one place it's really difficult to keep any sort of organization. This place has figured it out. You could honestly walk in and say something specific of what you are looking for and through what appears to be some chaotic organization, they will find it for you. They have everything! I had so many pinterest crafts come to mind as I walked through the shop. They have two levels FULL of neat stuff ranging from furniture, to maps, to assorted board game pieces. It's so neat! I will definitely be back... Oh! And I forgot to mention, when I walked in the door I was greeted with donut holes and coffee... ummmm name another store like this.. yeah, I couldn't think of one either!

I will say, staff didn't seem warm and friendly (ie a smile, or offer to help), but at the same no one was directly rude. I gather if you ask for help, they'd assist. I noticed by the bed frames, a sign that said they have tools to disassemble, but you had to do it yourself, which is still helpful since some places wouldn't even offer that.

I parked on the street. It's paid parking. I figured out later on that Target has its own lot that's kind of hidden to me. Oh, well. I know now. Think of this Target as a subset of a typical mega Target store. It's smaller in size, but it has everything you truly need. It's geared towards students and residents in the area who can walk over to it, as opposed to a shopper in suburbia hauling way too much stuff into a minivan. There was a ton of Lego merchandise. I assume that Target has a partnership with Lego. It was cool seeing Lego reusable bags and apparel. What stood out for me was the grocery section. It was impressive. There was lots of variety. I particularly loved the selection of sugar-free items. I ended up getting some Lily's chocolates. It also has Zevia in the pop aisle. If you're into PopSockets, they are heavily reduced here. I got one with lemons and it was $3. Ridiculous! You can get apparel here, but it's limited. If you get your wardrobe from Target, you'd be better off going to a larger Target store. Staff are super friendly here. I had a woman cash out my items. There are also self-checkouts, but I like ones with people more. It's a decent store and it much needed for locals in Dinkytown. I'm so glad that I dropped by. (477)
