After notifying the appropriate parties (Travelers and American Home Shield), we had both PuroClean and Advanced Home Services come out. Thankfully, both confirmed there were no active leaks, and we were good to move forward with drywall repairs. Even after involving both sets of realtors, the buyers started to get cold feet, expressing concerns about potential mold. This is despite their home inspection confirming there was no mold on the report (something we found out from our realtor). I searched "mold inspection" here on Yelp and found this company. I called to ask about pricing and availability and was pleasantly surprised. Despite some unfortunate setbacks, scheduling became an issue; however, that was able to resolved. Oliver came by while there was still a 4x4 hole in our garage ceiling. He did a thorough inspection of the plumbing. The result? No mold. And even better, no charge. Both floors affected - in total 2 hallways, 2 closets, and two bathrooms. Immediately after turning off the water, I started looking online for a plumber to fix the leak, and they suggested a different mitigation company which I accepted. They came by, and it turns out tried to scam me massively for insurance, etc. I'm lucky to have caught it before signing anything. After this awful experience, I went back online to find a different mitigation company and found Life Savers. They came by at like 9:00 p.m. took a look and although I was extremely suspicious of anyone I would have spoken to after the first experience, Rudy really helped set my mind at ease and made the process incredibly easy all things considered. They stopped the damage, everything was done incredibly professionally and well within the expectations of my insurance company, and their professionalism and kindness shown through from start to finish of their services. My claims adjuster was extremely impressed not only over how I handled the situation, but how Lifesavers did as well. Doug came to our home and assessed the damage in less than 48 hours and began the drying process. Because insurance was involved, it was the longest part of our process but Vanessa Rodriguez was so kind and helped with any questions I had because this is something I have never dealt with. I was able to call or email and she was always there to answer quickly. Will, he came every day to check on the drying process and also did the deconstruction. He was super polite and also very helpful with any questions I had. After insurance payment rolled through, scheduling for reconstruction happened quickly and was able to finish in 2 days! --although it wasn't the quickest process and frustrating to have multiple problems, I am happy to get our house back together and having nice people to help you is a plus, it literally makes you less aggravated and more patient when you have nice and understanding people on the other side of it.
