Obviously popular restaurant. I called to make reservations and had choice of 5 pm or 8 pm. Off street parking across from restaurant. Loved the hardwood floors, bookcases, and deep blue walls. We were seated in the kitchen. Apparently this section is for small parties. As the meal progressed, lighting was lowered. The table next to us was at the base of the steps. The barn door from 1st floor kept making it drafty for their table. Caprese salad excellent. Served 1 roll. Would have liked another without having to ask. Swordfish initially too fresh for me. Sent back for a little more cooking. Very good. Cherry gelato was just the right size. Would definitely eat here again. read more

I've been here several times, always for business and always as part of a group event with pre-planned dinners. It's a nice place. Pretty much upscale for the area but jeans would still be welcome. Servers are friendly. They have a nice courtyard for outdoor dining and a building that's kind of separate which is where our group events usually are. If it's nice out there are large doors they can open to seating areas on the patio so it doesn't get stuffy. Food has always been fine but it's not a fair analysis since it's never prepared just for one table. read more

This restaurant consistently knocks it out of the park. Every entree that we had was great, the service is very professional - attentive but not intrusive- and we love sitting in the kitchen space. I had the fish of the day, in a Beurre Blanc sauce over risotto & asparagus. Perfectly done and the sauce was delicious. My son had gnocchi which is light and fluffy- not dense. My husband had the tenderloin special and was very happy with his choice. We shared a lovely beet salad as well as the duck egg rolls to start. I was not as taken with the egg rolls, they seemed rather typical (although the sauce was far better than average duck sauce) but my adult son loved them. read more

Outside seating was beautiful on a September day. We were directly next to band and it was perfect volume and great music. The ambiance here is stunning. We are visitors to Williamsport twice a month, and tried this restaurant on our last visit. Very inviting from the outside. The inside immediately seemed upscale. Despite needing reservations, they had a cancellation and we got a seat. The dining room was small and adjacent to a bar, which was loud, separated by double French doors. We asked them to close the doors, and they did. But a loud party came in and made that moot. Classy atmosphere. Expensive pricing. Wait staff was - meh. They gave us bread, but doled it out with just a small roll each. Didn't offer butter, but brought over an oil mixture instead. I liked the oil mixture, but my dinner partner did not. The bread came from a giant bowl of rolls, that the wait staff gave you. But never offered more than one. The waiter never came back to check on us. I ordered the grouper with rice. It wasn't bad, but wasn't worth the money either. My dinner partner ordered the margherita pizza, and not only didn't like it, didn't eat hardly any of it. And, he didn't take the leftover. I tried it, it was too doughy with little flavor. Overall, this was a big disappointment. If the dining room was quieter, it may have been a more enjoyable experience. But expensive food, and loud atmosphere made it so we couldn't wait to leave. We were so in-impressed by the wait staff, we only left a $5 tip. Not worth the money. read more

Honestly can't say enough positive things about DiSalvo's Restaurant. We recently hosted a 90th Birthday Party for my grandmother in a private space at the restaurant. From the very beginning, Chef Vince, and Marisa, were very accommodating in planning for this special occasion...from the curated menu to day-of set up, no stone was left unturned. Our guests were first-class treated with dedicated service staff to the point we felt we were the only ones dining that night. The food was okay. Pizza always comes out very dark on the bottom. Steve DiSalvo treats his servers like trash! They'll be waiting on a table, he calls their name and he expects then to respond immediately. When he goes to the servers table, he yells and puts them down loud enough for the whole restaurant hears and gets quiet. I got a second glass of iced tea. I felt if I didn't drink it all, he'd come and yell at me. Makes for a very unhealthy work environment and a stomach wrenching place to eat at. read more

My girlfriend came for a visit out of town, I was looking for a decent luxury place for me and my girlfriend to enjoy her stay here. Unfortunately our experience here wasn't so great. My girlfriend has eaten in very nice restaurants and loves seafoods especially. She ordered the pasta, I ordered the lamb chops those were very nice!. She saw some decent delicious foods to try that was on the images in yelp and requested to have that but they server said "it's special" and that they didn't have it. I figured it's alright I guess we can have something else and most of the pictures they showed wasn't on the menu because it wasn't on the menu. I didn't think nothing of it to dress for "luxury place to eat". I just went dressed as myself, but the worst part is we ordered clams and when it came out the clams look unappetizing and the lemon looked dry and old which was a give away that the food wasn't fresh. I told the server please take it away. My girlfriend was disgusted. I was embarrassed because I thought it would've been delicious to begin with. The server got upset and I think manager came over and stared me down because we were served what look to have been spoiled food. Server didn't pay much attention, and was avoiding us. I was concerned more of our safety for being served not fresh food. We could've ended up with food poisoning. We are not bad people, to have been served that way. My girlfriend paid for the meal but she asked me to pick how much I want to tip, I'm a nice guy even though the service was horrible and the food was horrible I just gave 20$ because I felt bad. read more

An excellent spot in Williamsport, definitely a contender for the title of best restaurant in town. It's especially nice in the summer as they have a great patio for outdoor seating (as well as a newer wine bar). I'd say always a good idea to make reservations as they get pretty busy. You can't really go wrong with any of the food here, including the bread they give you with the parmesan and olive oil for dipping. We had the Broccoletti ala Panna to start which was delicious, perfectly done. The salmon I had was fantastic, just tasted very light and fresh but at the same time definitely filling. Service is great. Prices are perhaps a little on the higher side especially for the area but honestly you will feel it is worth it. Would absolutely recommend checking this place out. read more

It's a pretty restaurant, but was ruined by a lousy waiter and some inconsistencies in the food. We had a beautiful evening to dine outside which was lovely, but it stopped there. The waiter could not be bothered with us and never checked on us. My appetizer was octopus which except for the thinnest piece was not edible. I could not chew the piece and showed the waiter. My PORK SCHNITZEL was VERY DRY and came with VERY DRY gnocchi. When asked for some sauce, I was told that's just how it comes. Taking these two dry shoe soles home to see if I can make them edible. This was our first trip to Williamsport, our child attends Bucknell University and we were out of luck booking a hotel in Lewisburg, so to Williamsport we went! Our daughter looked up "best Italian restaurants in Williamsport"...and OMG! This place checked all the boxes! Our daughter will be in college for the next 4 years and we absolutely will continue to make this a staple for all our visits! After we finished our delicious meal (the first night we went to the restaurant) we went to the bar to have a nightcap and we were blessed to meet the family who owns the restaurant. Last night my family of six went to celebrate our mom's 91st birthday. We ordered drinks and appetizers before our meal. Three of the party ordered short ribs, one of the specials for the night. Ribs, cooked properly should be so tender the meat falls off the bone. These were severely undercooked and so tough you couldn't even cut through the meat with a steak knife. This was mentioned to our waiter who was going to talk to the chef. No one came to talk to us or ask if something could be done. My 91 year old mother couldn't eat a bite.
