My car had a moldy smell, so I dropped it off hoping it'd be something small. It wasn't. Turns out there was tons of mold underneath the carpet. Alexis was great at every step of the way: - He got my car in quickly (9am the next day). - He went out of his way to concretely identify the issue - which required pulling the carpet to identify that there was mold there, before he even gave a quote. - He put in the time to remediate the issue the right way - pulling the seats, removing the carpets, pulling the trim, etc - and he put it back together perfectly too - all while dealing with the (literally) toxic environment. - He went out of his way to clean parts of the car I hadn't even considered - for instance, he cleaned the engine bay (clearing out a mouse nest that was in there somehow too!). - He was extremely helpful at just every step along the way. I wish more business owners were like Alexis. And again, this is the absolute cleanest the car has ever been. It feels like a brand new vehicle. We usually take care of this chore ourselves, but quite frankly, I wasn't feeling it. So I searched for a quote via Yelp. John has gotten so many incredible reviews and seemed like a small, locally owned business- my favorite to support! His quote came back fairly quick. He was excited to earn my business and overall, I just liked his vibe. The cost for my husband's Subaru Impreza detail was $300. From all the quotes I got, that seemed like it was right in the middle. We picked a date and agreed on the price. Fast forward to the day arriving! John was very communicative and had asked if he could get started early. I had prepped the car by taking everything out, and had it moved to the shade to give John some protection from the sun. He got immediately to work after reconfirming price and amount of time for the service. I checked on him once and he was pretty self sufficient. He brings his own water for the cleaning, cleaning products, and even a modest workbench for his products and tools. I've got to say, the man has an impressive setup! He has an automatic text service that lets you know when he has finished the car. I checked it out with him and was blown away by the attention to detail. The car was immaculately spotless; inside and out. I was deeply impressed by John's work, his work ethic, and his kindness. Should I be feeling lazy again, he'd be the guy I would call! Finally, I do view this as a service. I did tip him on top of his $300 price. I hadn't seen that in other reviews and would like to say, he really earns that ,should you choose to do that.
