Prime rib sandwich

We used to go here often but it has been awhile. The food is pretty good, I had the prime rib sandwich. It was good but a little bland. Some of the other food was good and some not so great. The patio wasn't as nice as it used to be. I did enjoy the Kilt Lifter amber.

Some things were great: burger/sandwiches, our server Jen L., good local brews on tap (Kilt Lifter from Four Peaks Brewery), lots of parking in the lot, loved the "cowboy" vibe Some things not great: fries (yuck), the dirty stinky patio area in back. This used to be our must-go to stop along the Apache Trail but next time we just might have to look for a cleaner patio area to dine and enjoy an outside brew

I just finished eating Thanksgiving dinner here and it was aaaaamazing!!! I chose the turkey dinner which came with turkey, real mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, cranberry sauce, rolls, soup or salad (I chose the salad) and a choice of pie. I chose the pumpkin pie. Everything tasted like it was made by my mom in her own kitchen. It was all you can eat too. Imagine that! So I HAD to get another plate of deliciousness. Our server Heidi was awesome! She was so accommodating and on top of things. The staff clearing the dirty plates were also on top of it. The atmosphere was very rustic with a western theme. I also ordered a pumpkin pie martini. Yes, I said pumpkin pie martini and it was delicious!! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. 5 stars on everything!!

Been wanting to come here for a while, so I took the recommendations of friends and went for it. Nice rustic place with downhome hospitality. Good place for dinner, lunch, watch a sporting event on the tvs, or just unwind with a drink after a busy workday. I ordered chips and guac and a taco salad, plus an iced tea for my meal. The salad was the perfect portion size and accompanied with the chips and guac, I did not leave still hungry. My waitress kept checking in on me and I really appreciated her service and attention to detail, plus she was very nice. I HIGHLY recommend the taco salad. VERY good! It comes with a side of guacamole, sour cream, & salsa. Unfortunately I did not get pix of the decor but will next time. Enjoy my food pux in the meantime.

Ordered two orders of brisket after waiting for one hour for our order to be taken. We had multiple servers attending to us, one of the bar hands came back to explain there was no brisket. Changed order to sirloin, was thin and cold, asked to have it remade. They microwaved the whole plate. My cheesy Mac was greasy and the bread was extremely toasted, honestly unnecessary with the mac unless to sop up the grease. The ambiance in the back patio needs a definite touch up as well.

Does Dirtwater offer Happy Hour?

How much is the all you can eat fish and chips and..is it just on certain days? ty

Well, Marilynne when I was there it was a Thursday night and the all you could eat fish fry was going on. It was $18.00. For me it was worth it as the fish was cod and had a really fresh taste to them. I have since gone back for just the fish and…

Is their Thanksgiving Day menu?

You will find an All You Can Eat Turkey Dinner, with all of the traditional sides and a slice of pumpkin pie. We also serve a 10oz Prime Rib dinner and a Ham dinner every year.

Thank you so much to Rusty Buckle and our server blonde Jess for making our anniversary celebration…read moreso special. We were greeted and sat promptly. We were offered a high chair for our one year old. They offered a great kids menu and put that order in first, if you know you know! We ordered the rattlesnake bites, spoiler alert...it's not actual rattlesnake! Our drinks were great, a Dutchman's Gold and a mixed Sunset drink. Delicious! The fish and chips were fresh and hot. The sauces were all fire. For desert we had apple pie and ice cream. They brought our desert out with a sparkler! It was so fun! Thank you so much for making our anniversary celebration so special and festive.

First time here, wasn't sure what to expect. It was a Sunday afternoon and they had live music…read moreplaying. Live music is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We had our 5 year old granddaughter with us that day. Both my husband and I ordered prime rib sliders with seasoned fries. Fries had a unique taste, a tiny bit spicy. I was surprised by the taste because usually when places say seasoned they usually mean salt and pepper. My granddaughter got the kids burger with fries and orange juice. We also ordered some pretzel bites as an appetizer. About 20 minutes later our appetizer finally arrives, and so did the appetizer of the couple next to us that arrived and ordered about 15 minutes after us. About 20 minutes later our food still had not arrived but the couple next to us had already received their food. Finally our server comes to check on us and noticed we still hadn't gotten our food and went to check on it. About 5-10 minutes later my husband and my food finally showed up.. the couple next to us had already finished by then. They brought out our food but not my granddaughters. Who brings out food for the adults before the kids? So she had to sit another 10 minutes before her food was brought out. She did say they were really good but her fries were too spicy for her so they brought some out with no seasoning. Our prime rib sliders were also very good. The manager came out and apologized to us and comped the kids meal. Only problem now was, I was going to use a coupon code for 25.00 off 50.00. With the kids meal taken off our total was just under 50.00 by about 20 cents. I definitely wasn't prepared to pay 50.00 for our lunch. We'll give them another chance as the place was pretty cool. Try it on a Friday or Saturday night to listen to the live music.
