The kind of job that shouldn't take longer than about 30 min. I explained that I'm from 1.5 hr away and I'd like to make the drive only once if possible. I asked if they would be able to schedule me an appointment to get the work done. He said I'd have to call back and speak with Jeff the next day. I called back and spoke to Jeff and explained my situation. He said they're really busy and wouldn't be able to get to it today. I asked about next weekend or the weekend after. The owner came back with he would include it in the deal for "his cost, $95.00". I countered with, "I'm paying full retail price, you can include for the $95.00". He said no! He was silly enough to lose the whole deal for $95.00! I was very courteous and not demanding about anything during the whole process. If that small a difference made the deal fall thru, I certainly would not want him servicing the cart in the future. He probably would nickel and dime you to death if his margins are that small! My son, who lives in St Augustine, referred me to his buddie's body shop in St Augustine for repairs, necessitating a tow to St Augustine, about a 40 mile tow. Called Saint Augustine Tire Towing service (another BNI associate of my son's) and they were there within an hour or so. It cost $150, but I thought that was pretty reasonable all things considered. They were very professional and got my car down to the auto body repair shop in a very timely manner. I would recommend them highly.
