I've been without it for years before. It's gone up $10. I'm hoping that I can still afford it in the future. But if I have to cut something the internet would be the first thing to go. They even had the BBB come after them with a lawsuit for price gouging. Honestly I'd choose another provider if you are able or just find a way to use your smart phone. There's an app called net share that allows you to have an unlimited hotspot if you have an unlimited data plan. Also the apartment has free internet with the office so I could always just go there with my laptop, download games and be good to go playing offline like before.
