Mixed feelings about Xfinity! I want to talk to a person,…read morebut AI wants to answer general questions. The text answers and conversations are frustrating. Spent over 2 hours and 9 transfers, trying to clear up a situation. A text staff conversation, sold me on moving my mobile cell phone to NOW. A pay as you go, $25 per month, one line service, if you have Xfinity internet. Well, I was trying to switch: of course, our text chat shut down. He promised 125+ video channels, basic internet and cell service for $98 per month. Great!!! Well, we got cut off, during the cell phone transfer. So, I called back and finally got the upgrade to 125+ channels: but now, it says charge is $145!?! Per month. Called back and after a long time waiting, on hold: my text staff conversation said , I would receive the $100 Visa on line in 14 weeks, part of the cell phone transfer promotion. Creepy, how manipulative they are!!! Still will work, on getting them to honor, the other parts of the contract. The app does not recognize, the contract. Also, on line staff said store was open until 7pm: I drove down there and they closed at 6pm, because they are short staffed! BS !!! Avoid!!!

I ran into problems when I went to pick up equipment from an online order for Internet. Long story short the representative created a new account in the store and told me that was the standard business practice and that my online account was only a temporary account. I believe what was happening with the employee was creating a new account so that they could receive the commission and "sale". This created me a lot of problems that I eventually seem to have resolved, but please don't follow the victim to the same fraudulent business practice. Do not let them create a new account for you.

I was working with another local 5 star rated service and was losing confidence in their…read morerecommendations and problem solving. They hung my new Samsung OLED but couldn't get it to work properly. I was given an estimate for a new receiver, new universal remote, and labor which came to more than what my new 83" TV cost. I questioned if it was my receiver since it was working fine 48 hours earlier; they said my board was fried. (?) They were also upselling me on a new universal remote, powered blinds, and a home security system. He also boasted about all the 9 M homes he was working on. My instincts told me to walk. I reached out to Randy and he was very diligent in resolving the issue. There was no need for a new receiver or universal remote. After resetting my TV and running a thorough test, he identified that the HDMI was the problem. Rewiring my system is VERY difficult since it required crawling underneath my house in a very tight space, and sectioning a dryer duct housing to access the remote location of the electronics. He also had to fish the new cables through some very tight spots and did so without damaging my new expensive HDMIs. His problem solving and work ethic are unmatched. He will continue working until the job is complete, and done right. He left my home as clean as it was when he arrived. It's great to find a person with such integrity and diligence. On top of all those traits he's meticulous, very respectful and a real nice guy. He's my AV guy moving forward! 5 stars+++!!!
