I do not recommend this medical spa for any services. Over the last few weeks, I have watched my…read moreface go from beautiful to deformed due to improper injection techniques and not diluting my Hyperdilute Radiesse enough. The provider stated they used a 1:2 ratio in my neck when it should be 1:4, which is why I have lumps all over it. I found out just how many calcified lumps I had when I had to get a CT scan with contrast and found out the hard way they show up on a scan, unbelievable (I could have let the doctor know before they did it if I had known, but I had to get a second scan to rule anything out). My primary provider does a 1:4, and it is on almost all information that a 1:4 ratio is the way to do the treatment properly (For treating neck laxity, a higher dilution (like 1:4) is often preferred as it allows for more even distribution of the product across the area). But they did a 1:2, so I have a lumpy neck now (not very attractive). For the under-eye filler, which I was reassured Rachel knew how to perform better than anyone (her words), both eyes looked different. The right side had an odd sack of filler under the right eye, and the left side stayed bruised for a very long time and was lumpy and uneven (both sides were not only different; they made my face look horrible, and it aged me). To make matters worse, I had a Hyperdilute Radiesse treatment done under my chin; I now have a heavy pocket filled with calcium (again, because it is not being diluted enough). I gave the provider a chance to refund the under-eye filler (which I paid $900 to dissolve, which she assured me she would take care of when we met, but she did not. So, I paid $1,200 for a treatment that deformed my face and $900 to have it all dissolved so I could look normal again. This means I am $2,100 out of pocket and will need to return to my primary provider to get things looking good again, so yes, more money. Even after meeting with the owner to discuss my issues, which she apologized for and agreed that my treatments were no good, she still only provided me with the last two Hyperdilute Radiesse treatments that I never received. Still, even that was not the right amount (it should have been $1,600, not $1,500). I took time out of my day to meet with the owner on a Saturday, who took pictures of my face and wrote a note to my main provider about how to reduce the LUMPS on my neck from the improper injection technique by Rachel. It pains me to put this on a review, but I have allowed enough time to give this Medical Spa the time to make it right (not to mention my own time). I knew something was wrong, so I emailed on November 8, 2024, at 8:43 a.m. The office staff ignored my first email, so I had to call to explain how bad my face looked. She said to wait another week (which had already been three) to see what happens. Wait another week; I'm sorry. It's my face, for crying out loud. I am beside myself in explaining why they would not do the right thing. Please know you need to be careful here! Avoid this place if you can. They say they can do something but overpromise and underdeliver. What they did to my face was unacceptable, and I had to tell others what happened.

When I had asked for a doctor's note from Dr. Paik's assistant, Jackie, to give to my employer,I…read morereceived an unprofessional and rude response to "Never request for another Doctor's note again." the purpose for this doctor's note was due to the split open, peeling skin and bleeding wounds on the bottoms of my feet and toes which made it very painful and difficult to walk in my work boots at my place of employment. I was upset but more so, confused that I was denied because my request for a note if needed, especially when she was aware of my condition of open, bleeding wounds at the bottom of my feet made it extremely painful to walk at my place of employment. After leaving the office that day, I reluctantly continued my visits and treatment at Dr. Paik's establishment, keeping in mind that if I were to be met with any other additional bad behavior I would seek medical attention elsewhere. Then During my last appointment with Dr Paik in June, 2023, I was very uncomfortable with her bedside manner when I asked about possibly trying another medication. Dr.Paik's responses was very unprofessional and impolite tone. She snapped, "You're not getting any other medication, nothings working for you"! She then rolled your chair unreasonably close to me, leaned intimidatingly into me and asked in a condescending tone "Miss XXX tell me about your daily routine?" I interpreted her demeanor as one of frustration as her behavior suggested to me she was frustrated that nothing seemed to be working and she didn't know how to treat me. So, it was just easier for her to place blame on me that I purposely was causing my condition to myself from excessive hand washing and or dowsing myself in bleach. To make matters worse, she abruptly dismissed me from her office with no other medical treatment, guidance, or helpful information whatsoever. Dr.Paik's bad behavior along with being dismissed from her office left me sickened with fear knowing what I would soon endure with no medical support. Unsurprising, in a matter of just 2 weeks, my hands and feet exploded with unimaginable dryness and numerous open wounds, where they excessively peeling and bled. She wrongly diagnosed me with eczema, then later, dermatitis. I'm unclear as to why you didn't refer me to a specialist if she was unable to properly diagnose and treat my condition. Since my last appointment with Dr.Paik, I have found another dermatologist who has been nothing but wonderful and kind towards me. After my new physicians careful review of my condition, I was then properly diagnosed with a disease, not self harm as Dr.Paik claimed. I'm now having positive, healthy results. I'm unclear as to why your a "Doctor" who is supposed to help people but yet you treated me so badly....

Issue I have is with the techs (aides, whatever), who will walk into the lobby and ask for you by your first name. I don't know them, and am offended somewhat when someone less than half my age, or a third for some clients, are addressed as such. Lousy professionalism. Too, upon checking out, details of prescriptions aren't verified. I will definitely go to another place that is covered under my insurance. This is not to slight Dr. Paick, but rather a comment on how the overall practice is run.

I was very…read moreimpressed by the thoroughness of her check, as well as the personal interest she showed in my health. She's young, concerned, and really seems to love her work. Skin cancer was confirmed. The only reason I am rating this office a 4 and not a 5 is because I was quite shocked when someone (not Dr. Wahlgren) called me and told me about the basal cell carcinoma. I was so casually informed that it took a few minutes before I realized the call was not good. Not really sure why I was informed in this highly insensitive way, and am just really grateful I wasn't driving when I got the call, as that would have been extremely upsetting. Staff may want to rethink procedure before calling patients with bad news. K Since, I have visited Dr. Hambley, who I really liked. I appreciate the way he thoroughly answered all my questions and concerns. He performed the Mohs surgery today, and I believe it went as well as it possibly could have, so I'm happy & will definitely continue regular checks with Dr. Wahlgren.

Also two years after that last treatment, they're still coming after us for money even though their own invoice states that the amount was covered by insurance. You're not dealing with compassionate doctors, you're doing business with a private equity group. Profits appear to be the priority.
