I get my oil changes at the dealership and they did that and after that was completed, the service advisor tells me that my oil pan was leaking and that I needed to replace it. The cost was $530. The advisor continued by telling me that the passenger side front axle had grease all over it and that that repair would cost $2150. I was suspicious and untrusting of Clay Cooley simply because of the entire situation, so I had seen online Dwight's & Don's Auto Care and I decided to give them a try. I met with Justin and explained my situation and he presented himself as a truthful guy and I decided to give them a try. Well, after everything was done, my oil pan didn't need to be replaced. It was the oil filter housing assembly that needed to be replaced because it's plastic and had broken. As for the front axle and the grease, Don told me that they cleaned it up and that the boot wasn't torn and that there was no reason for any further repair. So, after going to see Dwight's and Don's Auto Care, I went from a possible $2100 repair bill to a $400 repair bill. My Palisade SUV is running good and I highly appreciate Justin's and Don's sincere honesty. This was my first time in their shop and they took care of me like I was a regular customer and from now on I probably will be. Thank you so very much, I'll definitely be back when any other work is needed.

I brought my car here to get my lights fixed (main problem) & to get my windshield wipers fixed…read more when I got the call back for the quote I missed the call and had to call back. a man answered the phone I told him the reason for my call & he informed me what needs to be fixed was a combination switch at $350 I agreed to the work. When I was called back letting me know the car was ready the lady behind the counter told me great news we didn't have to fix the lights at all which really threw me cause the man MEVER ONCE told me that one of the reason I brought the car in didn't need work at all (I would've went to pick my car up & would t had agreed to get my windshield wipers fixed at that time). when I picked the car up & checked the lights the parking & garage he brights came on but not my regular lights. I showed the girl behind the counter & she told me which really threw me that those lights had a sensor and only came on at night (which I know they don't I've been driving this car for years) & if that was true then how would I be able to drive my vehicle in the rain during the day that made no sense & I kind of felt like they didn't want to be bothered to fix cause I've never heard that a light that has a switch in the vehicle only can come on during the night that made no sense to me! I'm very upset by this again had the man told me during the quote the lights didn't need to be fixed I wouldn't have gotten any work done. the lady told me that when they were in the dark garage the lights came on but that's why I'm here at your shop because there's a problem the lights she be coming on. as well the interior lights don't come on so there is an issue and I wish I never would've taken it here. just cause my family has used them I wish I didn't cause I'm very unsatisfied! please someone else let me know if lights on at 2001 mercury grand marquis have lights that only come in a night. that's crazy. I've been driving this car for years & I know which direction I turn this knob to turn the lights on!

Dropped off my truck early in the morning on 05/12/26 and informed them of the issues I was having:…read morethe A/C was blowing hot air, and the cooling fans in the engine bay were staying on full speed at all times. When I dropped it off, I was quoted $100 for a diagnostic fee, which I was told would go toward the repair if I decided to move forward. Later that day, they called and stated that the thermostat was causing the issue. I advised them that I had already replaced the thermostat the day before, and the issue continued, so the thermostat was clearly not the problem. They then said they "THINK" the engine control module (ECM) was the issue, or that it "MIGHT BE" something wrong with the A/C system. I asked if replacing the ECM would definitely fix the issue and how much it would cost. He proceeded to say that he "THINKS" it should fix it and quoted me $750. I asked why he kept repeating that he "THINKS" it would fix the problem. I did not bring my vehicle to a mechanic for someone to THINK they could fix the issue. The next day, I went in person to speak with them. They then stated the total repair would cost $1,200 PLUS $250 for the diagnostic fee. I asked why the diagnostic fee suddenly increased from $100 to $250 overnight. I also asked why the repair estimate jumped from $750 to $1,200. On top of that, they originally told me the diagnostic fee would go toward the repair, so why was it now being charged separately? I ended up paying the $250 diagnostic fee -- even though I should have only been charged the agreed-upon $100 -- and took my truck to another mechanic. They fixed the issue in one day. IT WAS NOT THE ECM. The actual issue was two hoses leading to the heater core that had a coolant leak. Total repair cost: $400. This place was extremely unprofessional and dishonest. I would not recommend them to anyone.
