I purchased a 2011 Jeep Patriot in March '24 based on the mileage and CarFax report. Immediately had issues with it within the first two weeks with the engine light coming on. I took it to Champion, who advised me it was from a recalled part. Got the recalled parts replaced and Champion advised I had a radiator hose leak due to a broken head gasket. When they went in to repair the head gasket their mechanic advised me that it had already been replaced within the last 1k miles, and it was done improperly. The coolant had not been properly blown out of the bolt holes and the threading was now bad leading to a much bigger repair than just the hose and head gasket. I called Direct Auto multiple times starting on Wednesday, May 22nd. I initially spoke with Jordan who assured me he would get back to me the next morning at the latest. I called again on Thursday, May 23rd to have Jordan tell me this was an issue for his service manager and that he would have him call me back. I called again on Friday, May 24th, and was told he was busy and would call me back. After that, it was the Memorial Day weekend. It is now Friday, May 31st and I am still being given the run-around. I was told day of purchase by sales person Dillon that a new key fob had already been ordered, which was a blatant lie, and I never received a key fob. He made promise after promise. We bought a vehicle back in October, it was running fine for exactly 3 months-- we're now expected to replace the engine. The vehicle was improperly serviced while they had it leading to bigger issues. Of course their warranty covers 30 days. Unfortunately we're stuck footing the bill as no one is willing to help, this car is a 2015 with less than 70k miles, it shouldn't have these issues. Buyer beware. read more

I purchased a car from here it was dirty when I viewed it and dirty when I drove it off the lot. They put no effort toward impressing me. I asked to use my personal bank but was told they had a special bank that guaranteed low interest rates which was not true. I let them know in advance that I only wanted my credit checked once and they assured me it would be. My credit was ran 8 times by many different banks with no good interest rate. As a result I lost 80 points on my credit report in 1 day. They were given 500 to hold the car but because they did their paper work wrong they did not refund the money back as told. This is the most rude and unprofessional place I have ever dealt with. You would have thought we would have learned our lesson the first time. I was trying to give them the benefit of doubt they were trying to make things right with my husband and I after the first incident. NOPE WE WERE WRONG!!!!!!! FIRST incident, my husband calls to make sure the vehicle was on the lot. The sales man says it is took all of our information and informed us he would see us shortly. After driving an hour and a half to the car lot (in which he knew we were driving) we get there to be informed that it sold!!!!!!!!!!!! SECOND INCIDENT, My husband and I were trying to give them the benefit of doubt because they so called felt bad for the way they did us and wanted to make things right. Offered my husband a heck of a deal, let him know his offer was still good from the first time. Told my husband they were not open on Sundays. Once again drove all the way down there where the sales man had informed us he would meet us with the vehicle. Was then informed the vehicle sold yesterday, which was Sunday (the day they weren't open). Then the sales man that didn't even have a clue that we had a 9am appointment tells me I have another one sort of like that one. He then shows us a picture of this dirty vehicle. Then informs us if we pre-approve he will take us to go look at it. NO I DON'T LIEVE THAT IS HOW THIS IS GOING TO WORK! We know what we want, we know what we are pre approved for, and we know what is in our pockets. Its sadd people treat others with so much disrespect these days. This is the worst dealership I have ever been too. Bought a car there had multiple things wrong with it and they told me they will fix it long story short they never did. Then after I got approved for everything on the lot and was able to drive away in the car they wanted to "pop corn finance" a few weeks later and say that I never put any money down when I indeed put the $1200 dollars down up front and after all this I decided to return the car and take my business else where and they told me to return the car and they will give me a FULL REFUND and when I went to get the FULL REFUND they denied it and instead kept it and the car that I have already started paying for! this was by far the worst car buying experience for me. I purchased a car in October. the car was delivered to me. The day i received the car the check engine light was on. the person that drove the car from mississippi to georgia assured me that it was his first time seeing the light on. the sales person I worked with name Jordan let me know that It was something that can be fixed under warranty and shoudnt not have to pay anything out of pocket, I just had to find a repair shop in my area. The repair shops I picked that I trusted were too high priced for Direct Auto so they sent me to a different one. once I got to the repair shop and they checked my car they let me know the motor was NO good. Direct Auto then decides they will pick up my car themselves and repair it back in Mississippi. they picked up my car on December 16, and to this day no update on where it is or if it's even repaired. I was not able to get the car registered so i was stuck paying a car note for a car I can't drive and I don't have. PLEASE do yourself a favor and the dodge the bullet! read more

Buyer beware. Sadly, I have had my vehicle for just over three months. It has white smoke coming from the tailpipe. I have taken it to be looked at and was told it has engine sludge today. When I contacted Hank and spoke with him about it, he told me there was nothing he could do about it. The Nissan dealer showed me where it was reported to have this issue at 37k miles. It was damaged when it was sold to me and now I am stuck with it. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. It was really nothing short of a nightmare after we left the lot. The title work was sent incorrectly to the state, the loan paperwork was not sent in to the lender in an appropriate length of time, and I was made to feel it was my emergency when the paperwork was not done in a timely manner when I did my part. I do not recommend this place. If you do decide to purchase from them, pay to have the vehicle checked from front to end and also check with a dealership for service records. Don't get stuck with a vehicle which needs a new engine and no help from this dealer after the sale. If it's too good to be true, it usually is. Bottom line - They just want a sale and don't care if you get stuck paying for a major repair afterwards. It could be a really great vehicle if it worked properly. read more
