Fragrance is one of our most powerful senses. I love fragrance. I wear fragrances. I am not shy about this. The beauty of Diptyque is their fragrances smell "clean" - not like freshness, but more like what you smell in nature. I'm not explaining it well - er, it's nothing like say, Tom Ford before the corporate buyout. Diptyque fragrance on the skin is clean, light, polished, it whispers. On the day we visited there were 2 women at the register,.both very friendly and professional. I wanted to buy my younger daughter her first bottles of the brand for her birthday so she chose EHWT she wanted and the ladies let her choose her courtesy gift wrapping. I bought fragrance for my home because I already have bottles of this brand in my wardrobe. The in p-person experience was really nice, unrushed, easy. I am delighted to share yet another thing I love with my daughter. Oh! If you register online you're gifted a complementary candle for your birthday. 7/7/2025: My love affair enjoying shopping Diptyque's UK Boutique locations--Harrods and Spitalfields to Diptyque's USA Boutique locations--Palo Alto and Corte Madera are simply a divine, joyful pleasure. Moreover, I specifically wanted purchasing the haunting, scintillating "Do Son" Fragrance Collection's shower oil, hand cream, candle, and TSA parfum vials which has my olfactory senses absolutely captivated. Moreover, Do Son's fragrance isn't overwhelming: Its characteristical fragrance notes are subdued, subtle, and more importantly, the scent once applied after showering in the morning will last at least, forty-eight hours. Aside, Diptyque's Boutique locations always gifts me complimentary Do Son travel samples. Aside, I discovered Diptyque's Boutique locations when I initially visited Diptyque's UK Boutique locations--Harrods and Spitalfields in 2018; all Diptyque's Boutique locations are impressive via rendering 100% Customer Service indeed. Therefore, I'm absolutely elated visiting Diptyque's Boutique USA locations especially, Corte Madera CA: IMHO, Corte Madera is a new store since, the entire shopping center has created an upscale shopping experience, i.e., I have been frequenting Corte Madera's shopping center since, 1998! I want to start by saying that I am a big fan of diptyque and their products, but the experience my partner and I had at this location really tarnished their reputation for me. I was coming into this store fully ready to purchase one of their sets, but upon entering the workers acted like we didn't exist. No greetings were offered, let alone a look in our direction. We stayed in the store for a while to browse and look at some of the other products. I was hoping that in that time someone would have to come help us, but they just sat behind the register talking amongst themselves. They most definitely profiled us for how we looked and fully believed that we were not going to purchase anything. Thus instead of giving these workers our service and potentially commission, we decided to leave and order the set online instead. This was highly disappointing considering I had a great experience at the LA location. Please do better. read more

Didn't realize that Diptyque had opened a store in the MCM, so I was excited to see this was here! The store is beautiful. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the sweetest girl named Charlotte. She walked us through the store and showed us lots of different products, telling us the story behind its inception and what collection it belonged to. It was such a pleasant experience, one I hadn't had in a retail store for a long time. Definitely come in and shop w/ these girls, they're amazing. Wow I can't say enough good things about this store and location! The store itself is so beautiful but what really made the experience special was the person working there! Charolette was SO kind and welcoming and helped me narrow down which scents I liked best as I had never tried Diptique before. She really made it a joy to be there and sent me home with samples so I could test the products out before committing.
