Everything looks delicious. The employee told me they recently added cake pops. I tried their cookies and cream and plain vanilla. They are very good. I will definitely be returning for some more. The employee behind the counter was amazing. She gave me free samples and a coupon as well. I really liked the energy that they give off here and I recommend. read more

Came in on a random Saturday, I ordered 2 rocky road apples, and i got one of those Dubai chocolates, It was very quick and the girl behind the counter was very friendly and attentive! read more

Wish I would have checked the reviews before ordering. I got a rocky road apple and the chocolate tasted old and the marshmallows were stale. Part of the actual apple was mushy and had a strange smell. Took one bite and had to throw it away. The Chamoy Apple was a bit better not not by much. A waste of money. They aren't cheap. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Marc always does a great job at customer service. She always has a smile on her face and I love the samples she makes because she tends to convince me to buy more with the samples lol My favorite is the Oreo and my families favorite is the almond apple read more

This place has some very good products but yesterday which was Thursday June 27 at around 7:15pm ish, I had stopped by with my 4 year old daughter who wanted a caramel apple. We stopped by but the girl working there watched us walk up and did not help us or even acknowledge our presence. We waited for a while before a young man with a hat walked in and walked to the back. They sat back there and just talked for so long before the girl decided to help us. She was very quiet and did not smile once. I understand when you are having a bad day we all have them, BUT ignoring us and acting rude towards me and my daughter is not acceptable for any business claiming to have good service. Please better your workers! I will not be returning. read more

My daughter & I got the Rocky Road Caramel Apple from Dipped & this last weekend is just is HORRIFYING. Not sure why the chocolate looks like it's aged? It was white dusty feel to it. Tried a piece & tasted stale/chalky almost. All of the toppings were melting off of the apple. Literally. There was mold growing from the sticks on the bottom of the apple. (Didn't capture a photo as I was mortified) IT WENT STRAIGHT TO THE GARBAGE. My daughter mentioned that an apple was pulled from the back of store instead of the display cases didn't think much but at least we know where not to go! Definitely would not recommend, mold is and never will be worth it. Should really have a system where they do quality checks. Absolutely disgusting. Will be taking my services elsewhere where for cravings. poor service both food and workers. Workers should be trained properly! People could get really sick! Luckily this time nobody was read more

Dipp'd - Rocky Road Caramel Apple - Candy Stores Near Me - Salinas, California

Came with my kids the and noticed all 3 of the workers were extremely under the influence. The smell of weed was overbearing. Very inattentive. Unable to answer some questions confidently so made me second guess my choices. There should be warning signs for people who come and grab samples!! My son (6) is allergic to all nuts and the worker with glasses and polka dot headband called my kids over offering samples not even knowing if they had allergies. As a parent of kids with allergies I make sure to ask for all ingredients. This worker didn't even bother to ask, I had to stop my son before grabbing the pecan apple. "Go ahead grab one of each" is what the worker said. This could of ended catastrophic because of poorly trained employees. After all of this one of my kids ended up getting left out because a worker was unable to explain if anything was edible for those with nut allergies. after the transaction a lady and her daughter came up to me saying the daughter has went to school with the manager and they smoke on the job. This lady daughter behind me sent me photos of workers all smoking. You would think a women owned and operated establishment would have polite, classy young ladies working. Instead you have these little, ignorant girls that reek of drugs in a family friendly environment that doesn't pay enough enough attention to their costumers UPDATE: after posting this review I received a message on yelp calling me a lop. Obviously one of the workers seen this review and thought it would be funny. Highly unprofessional. Hopefully I can make time to come visit and talk with an owners. Such unacceptable behavior from these employees. read more

Dipp'd - Message received after posting negative review about company. - Candy Stores Near Me - Salinas, California

I'm beyond bummed!! I've been wanting to try this place since it opened and FINALLY did this afternoon. What a disappointment! I ordered a cluster of 3 chocolate dipped strawberries, which were a bit mushy when we ate them. But, the biggest disappointment was the shortcake apple and the dutch apple. I LOVE these apples from other vendors and was SO excited to finally have an option in Salinas. I couldn't decide, so I bought one of each! But, sadly, the apples were extremely mushy and tasted 'old'. It smelled like an apple that had been cut and left sitting out all day. I ate an entire slice, wanting to love it. I even took a bite of the opposite side of the apple with the same mush and icky taste. My husband took one bite and asked what is wrong with it. I don't usually leave unkind reviews. BUT, I might have thought twice about spending almost $25 on barely edible treats. I certainly would have only bought one apple and hoped for a more positive experience. I'm sad and REALLY hope quality improves!! I genuinely want to be a repeat customer and be able to write an incredibly positive review in the future!! read more

I was so excited when I seen they had candy apples for sale in their display window, as it's hard to find candy apples anywhere nearby. I should have read the reviews first considering it seems there's a pattern of mushy fruit. Unfortunately I received molded fruit which is even worse and so disappointing and really bummed me out. I tried a very small piece of the apples as well and the candy on it tasted burnt, both the apple and candy surrounding it were not pleasant or sweet. Threw them away right after. I wasn't able to enjoy my craving. The apples are quite pricey as well so you think they would have better quality ingredients and fruit for what you pay for, well no. I can't return it either because when I asked for a receipt from the cashiers, they didn't bother to give me one, they just walked away from me to help someone else. Never came back to me, No other choice but to just leave. Which is another thing that turned me away. So now my money went to waste, and I had a terrible experience! I won't be returning because of this, it feels like a waste of money if I were too. From my experience. read more
