Now I'm treating a badly cut cuticle because the tech moved so fast with the nippers that it was too late to see that she just pulled them out of a drawer and not a sterilized bag. Great service! After a weekend at the beach, my legs were sore and my nails were terrible. We had some time before we needed to check-in at the airport and, instead of filling up our luggage some more at the mall, we decided to get some much needed relaxation. I did a quick Yelp search and found Dior Nails & Spa; though we were initially a bit worried by the reviews, we got over our feelings as soon as we sat down in the chairs. I really loved the massage options on these chairs; they were firm, but not painful, and really hit all the best spots on my back! My husband and I got Basic Pedicures -- we didn't have time to try out the more deluxe options -- and were very happy with the quality of the service. Harry (my tech) did a great job! Not only did they make our feet and legs feel good, they made them look good! The foot massage was amazing; I get foot reflexology regularly and still can't describe what they did, but it felt awesome (and my husband also agreed). The techs at the salon were all so friendly and welcoming; everyone is very extroverted. The decor was also very sleek and glamorous. Overall, five stars! Whether you need to rest your feet after a day of shopping or if you're just flying through Tampa, I definitely recommend coming here. read more

My mom, sister and I came and got our nails done there about 2 weeks ago today, we all got gel on our nails and toes and not even 3-4 days later our nails started to chip. This is a lovely new salon for nails - and more - located on the upper level at International Plaza. If you are anywhere near Dillard's or the Apple Store you are just steps away from a place where you will be provided excellent service in a stylish setting. There are a variety of manicures and pedicures as well as lash and brow treatments and facials offered here but I went with a basic mani/pedi for my first visit. Everything looks new and nice which is always a plus when receiving personal services like these. The range of polish colors provided a lot of choices, the pedicure chair was truly state-of-the-art and the drying system for my manicure was one of the fastest and best I have come across. Because this business is located in International Plaza there is obviously plenty of convenient parking and the days and hours of operation match with those of the center. The staff here pride themselves on using products made from organic ingredients and even a bio-seaweed gel. I am looking forward to my return visit when I know I want to have the SNS dipping powder for my manicure. I had a bad experience with gel but am hopeful dipping powder will let my nails keep their luster longer but not take a toll on my fingernails. I went to get my nails done today and the owner did my nails she claimed that she had 17 years of experience but left me with this nails . Iam shook. I asked her to do acrylic nails , insisted she did powder without asking me. I asked her to stop and remove my nails because it was very bad. She seemed confused but kept going, I asked her nicely nicely to stop and take my nails off and that I would PAY her which I definitely did even though she did a VERY terrible job . She got mad and started hurting me , then I calmly removed my hand and asked her to please stop hurting me she kept ignoring me and was breaking my nails. I paid her and left speechless because I did not want to make a scene I was terrified and MAD I went and reported it to the mall security. thank God even though I had paid her I still felt very upset and I knew that she did not deserve a dollar for what she had done. I had to go to a different salon to get my nails done it took them three hours to get all of this off they were shook and said that whatever she used was very bad and that she damaged my real my nails very badly . So disappointing for such an elegant place in a reputable mall to be have such low quality service. I couldn't take my daughters to get their nails done so my husband took on the task. Very simple petitions. One gel no acrylic, one acrylic, In White gel with one nail with chrome powder tip. The gel one is uneven and didn't even cover the whole nail. It's covering part of her skin on some nails so they'll chip soon. So it looks like it was done by herself (she's 9). The acrylic was supposed to be coffin nails (instead they are fat, squared, uneven on the sides and super thick). The nails were trimmed down with kitchen scissors, the acrylic isn't flush with her cuticle and there's a very visible space, the chrome "tip" nail she specifically asked for -just the tip-, but was told "no honey" and that she needed to cover the whole nail with it (also painted the nail black, and you can see the under polish on the sides, so it looks like dirt) then proceeded to apply it with her own finger instead of with an applicator. Her nails have uneven sides, are wavy on some others and just look plain bulky. Oh and may I add she called my husband papi chulo and asked why he didn't get her coffee on his coffee run lol just plain nuts read more

Young lady over the phone quoted me $45 and stated they will not charge to takeoff now since I was getting a new set. I explain to the technician that I want it light pink acrylic with a thin white strip. He applied a regular acrylic (no color) wanted to apply a pink coat of gel and I stated no just do the white strip. I was very clear that I wanted a very thin strip and even showed a picture of my nails prior. I wasn't happy with how thick of a line the tech was producing so I after lining 4 nails, I requested to just remove the lines and to simply. Apply a clear coat. No remember I called prior in the representative told me $45 at the end of my service I asked the technician what was my total and he stated $55. For the life of me I couldn't understand why I was paying 10 dollars more than quoted but I just paid and left. I am usually very open to visiting new nail salons and trying new product but after this I think not never again will I step foot into this shop. Now I would like to first state that everyone was very nice, polite and professional but the quality of work horrible. After reading the reviews I was a little nervous headed to this location. I was visiting from out of town and wanted to find a nice place to enjoy a gel manicure and pedicure. Mely, the owner completed both my gel mani and pedi. They will try and upsell you on other services, but kindly decline if you are not interested. She was very friendly and talkative, so if you are trying to relax in silence that might be more difficult. The chair massage was really nice and I upgraded my pedicure so I could have a deeper massage. It was GREAT! She spent a lot more time on one foot than the other but it was very relaxing and she was fast! Saddly this is the only salon left in international mall so I can no longer get my nails done while my husband shops. When I arrived I saw a gentleman waiting and a lady in a pedi chair with no technitian. She originally told me 45 but then said since i had dip in already I could soak. About 20 mins later the gal comes over to file the top layer of my dip off to soak and she had the drill SO HIGH and a rough attachment that it was burning. After getting through this I soaked then more and more people were coming and the gal was telling them she could Do them and either come back or wait 40. At this point they were closing in 45 min so I'm not sure how this made sense. They were juggling way too many people which felt rushed and reckless. I noticed after she toggled back and forth between fixing the girls nails before me and mine that I'm pretty sure the cuticle cutter ( which I thought was a no no anyways) was not brand new/ sanitized. Also the files she was using looked so raggety and old. I got a simple short gel that I'm Positive will last 3 days. There is spot all in them and half are not shinny, instead they are tacky. So annoyed for 35, what a rip off. Never ever agai *update* less than a week and the gel is chipping and peeling. I am not rough on my hands. Extremely disappointed. I'm in Tampa from out of town and decided to kill some time and came in for a pedicure and Regular polish change on my fingers (I shaped my own nails). I was sitting in the chair for almost THREE hours. The gentleman that did my nails was nice but my nails look like I got them done a week ago. I asked if he would please polish closer to the cuticle and he said he would but 3 coats later they looked the same. As far as the pedicure, I've had better. The tip of my big toe was chipped before I could leave from when he tried to clean up the extra polish. Other toes have polish on the cuticles. It took so long I didn't even ask for him to redo them because I just wanted to get out of there.
