I have been playing with old cars for many years and have, like many people into vintage cars in…read morethis area, visited Maria in the past, but this time was a bit different. I had two parts related to a car's ignition lock housing that appeared to need soldering. I went where I knew they do soldering all the time and are known to be great at it. Anflo Auto Electrics, One of the guys there looked at it and said those parts don't need soldering , they need welding. He then said,,,go where we go for welding we can't do, Maria's Welding, Montauk Highway, Lindenhurst. ,,, I said," I know Maria" and off I went to visit her,,,because that is what it's like,, Maria and the lady that assists her treat their customers like they just made a new friend... Maria took one look at the parts,,,said " I got it,, I know what I have to do"... The work was done within 2 days, my tab was unbelievably reasonable, and I can t thank Maria enough. She fixed two parts no longer available and without which the car can't be driven and used ones are getting rarer,, Her time and effort is extremely appreciated , People bring her boat parts, car parts, bike parts, even airplane parts. If you have any needs for welding on small or large items, give her a chance to show why her ratings are what they are,,She has obviously proven it to me.

I wish he did a better job spotting issues that could have saved me some extra work after the fact. I also wished he coordinated with my General Contractor better. Upon seeing how small the job was he told me he would cut it for free. To my surprise he went into the shop for no more than 60 seconds. Came back out and again told me no charge. Most shops would have charged me for the small job (which is understandable) but Carlos just wanted to help. I called Anthony and he tells me oh well he asked for the wrong material. I said that was the reason why I called ahead. I find that wild that you didn't let your guys in the shop know that... we are a school district and the fact that you wouldn't work with us on a return is crazy when we've spent money several times...
