In my case, they took two antique chairs that were quite beat up, gave me an approximate valuation of the chairs (so I would know if I wanted to do the repairs), and I gave the go-ahead. They did a superb job in hiding or fixing scratches and bruises in the wood and discoloration in the finish, and they repaired two broken parts of the wood in one chair that had structural damage. That chair is now as good as, or better than, new in terms of structural integrity. The owner John is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have an excellent small team there. The work as completed left the chair looking as it would if it had never been damaged (say, 98%) and I am very happy with their work, their ability to explain, and the reasonable price for the work done.
