He was willing to workout a better price for me so I chose Ronald Quality Fence to do the work. I don't regret it. His team of installers, which included Ronald, did an efficient job of removing the old fence and rails, installing all the new work, and cleaning everything up when they were done. Ronald also provided great communication, and answered any questions that I had. I will be using him for future work, and recommending his company for anyone work on their home. Great job!!

So I decided to take a chance that cheaper may be better. And it was! His communication was impeccable. I find that doing any work with my house communication is where most companies fall short. Not with Ronald! He called back for a free estimate immediately. Came on a day that was good for me & my crazy schedule. On that day I was given a written estimate including the guarantee & full explanation of what would take place. Also a time frame for when these things would happen. March 18, 2026: I signed the contract. March 30, 2026: My old shabby posts removed & disposed. Then the new posts were cemented in. April 3, 2026: All gates were put up. Beautiful! The quality of the fence & hardware were excellent. Light years difference from the cheesy Home Depot fence that was previously up. I've already given my neighbor his number. You need a fence? All the work was explained prior and even things that I thought would be good I was given enough information to make a decision whether I wanted to go that direction or not. I decided on PVC fencing. I got the two-tone instead of just the white that everyone gets. Thus far it looks good.

I contacted the company and they responded and sent a repair man out...all he did was shove concrete and stones down the hole while pushing the post back into a vertical position and I was charged $200 for the response and supposed repair...this year once again, because the repair was not done properly, during a windstorm 2 sections of the fence fell and the post that had the concrete/stones pushed down to support it fell and broke...now they want $750 to repair the fence...all it needs is one vertical post all other sections are still good and not broken...I asked if they would reduce the cost to $500 and they refused, saying the $750 was a firm price. I'm sorry, but if they would have repaired the fence properly in the first place by resetting the concrete and post, this wouldn't have happened. I would not recommend them again for any type of repair. I'm still open to hearing from them to work out a repair but not for $750. And I'm willing to update my review if this happens. VP Patchogue

The other gate is a utility gate, opens to 10 feet with no center pole, so it cannot self latch. John told me it wouldn't be a problem to just put a lock on it and tell the inspector it is only used for accessing equipment, boats, etc. The inspector did not pass the gate, said it needs to swing only one way and self close. I spoke to both Stacy and John, I was told he knew what it needed and would be out by the end of the week. That is the last I heard from him. I can't get them to answer the phone. I've been ghosted. I know he was annoyed by having to come back, and I have no issue paying him for additional work, but I'm not the one who makes the Town rules. I've been told by other trades people that a lock on the gate hasn't passed since the 80s. It's unfortunate, I have no issue with the work that he did, he just didn't want to help out I guess. So I am back to square one, my pool is still not up to code and I have to find someone else. I would not recommend them.

Steve came and gave me a quote and was candid about how quickly his calendar can fill up and pricing on a vinyl fence. When a date opened up his guys, who I later found out have been working with him for 20 years (which speaks volumes to me) came to take down my old picket fence and replace it with the new vinyl. Personable, efficient, neat, respectful of my and my neighbors property and plantings. The fence is beautiful. But here's what I loved about these guys. They needed to mix cement for the posts and I have a spigot that spews water everywhere. After they left, it seemed to magically fix itself. I have a gate leading to my back door that never closed flush. I always had to lift the gate with my foot while closing to get it to shut. Again, magically fixed itself. I had an old giant green plastic slide from a swing set that was sitting under a tree in my backyard that I mentioned I needed to get rid of in conversation. Again, the slide was magically cut into pieces and taken to the curb. They didn't say a word about any of this. Didn't look for a gold star. There are just some people who need to do things the right way. Those are the people I love to do business with. and these are those guys. They just wanted everything done right. They took pride in their work and they left my property better then they found it. Good luck in your search for a fencing company. If you choose these guys, you won't be disappointed.
