She took my measurements but did in a way that was just so rude. She never asked me any questions, or about the wedding and right after she did my measurements, she asked me how much I was going to put down on the deposit. The bride had her wedding dress there and to her disppointment, the dress didn't come out the way it looked on the picture and to top it off, it had a blue hue to it. The material Maria used was very cheap and the bride's maid dresses did not look like what the bride ordered, nor did they fit correctly. Maria had no sympthany at all and we all demanded to have our deposits back, or credit us for another dress but she flat out refused. Maria is NEVER there when she says she is and it's like she purposely doesn't come in to avoid you. She never has anything ready for us when she says she will and always makes us feel like we are wasting HER time. Horrible. Just horrible all around. She still refuses to give us back some of the deposit or give us credit. So many of us are out $100 bucks! Don't go there. It's not worth it.

After waiting over 20 minutes, I finally received a call from someone named Parm, who said my appointment was actually scheduled on March 22nd. When I tried to explain to him that I had canceled that appointment and rescheduled for today, he immediately cut me off and told me that I needed to listen to him now. My fiance overhead his tone of voice and immediately told him that he wasn't to speak to me in that manner. Bottom line, things happen for a reason. We were unable to tour the venue as scheduled, treated very unprofessionally by the staff, and therefore decided to look elsewhere for our wedding venue.

I initially chose a less expensive seamstress for my wedding dress alterations, and unfortunately, the neckline was completely botched and uneven. With my wedding only being 1 month away, this was a huge disappointment and caused an unnecessary additional amount of stress. I brought my dress to Carole, who was recommended by the bridal shop, and she was an absolute pleasure. She fixed the neckline beautifully and, while working on the dress, also noticed that the original bustle had been poorly done and was likely to break. Only 1 button for all that fabric (right where my bottom hits the chair), I mean come on! Carole fixed it beautifully with a French bustle. Before and after photo below. What I appreciate most is that she was willing to take on someone else's work and fix it, even though I had originally passed on her because her quote was higher. After seeing the love and quality she put into my dress, I truly wish I had just gone with her from the beginning! She was professional, knowledgeable, and so so kind. I'm forever grateful she was able to save my wedding dress so I could wear it with no regrets on my special day! I am truly so appreciative of Carole and the work she put into my gown.
