They send you a questionnaire and ask you for your vision of your gown and your wedding. I really wanted a concierge type experience for the first time looking at dresses. Sherri delivered! She made me feel like a queen and encouraged my party to pick out any dress they wanted me to try on. She looked at my pinterest board for ideas, but I really had no idea what I would pick. She gave me tips on dresses and gave me honest opinions. She also had a robe for me inside the spacious dressing room and helped zip and unzip me. She has a very efficient system of trying on dresses, you can tell she knows and loves what she does!! She also didn't force me to go outside if I didn't like a particular dress, she just brought the next one with no judgement. She had a pedestal set up with a brightly lit room, and took the time to really spread the dress and train out so we could fully appreciate the dresss. She also picked out the veils that would match the dress I was wearing with my desires in mind as well. She found out that my ceremony would be taking place outdoors, so she brought me outside to see how a dress I loved would look like in the sun. It was beautiful both outdoors and inside! I tried on a few more dresses but we quickly realized I was comparing it to the one I loved. I had no expectations of finding the dress, but I did with Sherri's help! She encouraged me to put on the dress again and allowed my party and I a moment to be together. The price was super reasonable (much better than Bay Area prices according to my friends). I had the pleasure of working with Keri the owner. I told her I had a small budget to work with and she didn't bat an eye at it. She explained the layout of the dresses and gave me clips to place on all the dresses I wanted to try on. She said I could pick as many as I wanted. My mom and I had so much fun looking through the dresses and putting clips on everything I wanted to try on. I need to give a little bit of back story here. I had an appointment with David's Bridal on Saturday. I hated my experience there. The sales lady was extremely nice but she kept bringing me dresses to try on that were outside of my budget. I didn't like any of the dresses she brought and really didn't get to go look through the dresses myself. I went to Cinderella Cellar too and the owner there was nice but I could tell she wasn't open to helping me for my small budget. The experience with Keri at Little Black Dress was so different. It was so much fun trying on the dresses and she helped my mother and I feel so relaxed and comfortable. I had read previous reviews stating they didn't have a large selection of wedding dresses. I didn't pay attention to the date that review was written but it was wrong because I found way more beautiful dresses there then I did at David's bridal. I'm happy to say that I found my dress and Keri made that fun too. She has a sign that reads, "I said yes" and she will take a picture of you with the sign and provide champagne as well. My…read morewedding was November of 2019 and LBD took care of my dress, one of my bridesmaid's dresses, and a tuxedo for my daughter. The experience for my daughter and I was perfect. We are a bit unconventional: I didn't want a white dress and my daughter didn't want a dress at all, so we had some issues at other places. Particularly for my daughter, who seemed to scare the heck out of any guy working at a tux shop when he realized he'd have to measure her. Thank goodness we found LBD where they fitted her for a tux that she loved with no problems. I ended up with a bridesmaid dress since I didn't want white, but they recommended a seamstress who helped me embellish it into just what I wanted. The missing star is for my bridesmaid's experience. When she tried the sample on in the store, it fit like a dream, it was just the wrong color. It would seem when they put the order in, they ordered the wrong size completely (an 8 instead of a 6) and since it took 3 months to get there, we had to have it severely altered just to fit, which was sad for my friend because she had planned to alter it into something she would wear again and again, but all her alteration budget went to making it fit instead. She did reach out to the owner to try and get them to make it right in some way. Unfortunately, they took no responsibility for the mistake, and dismissively gave her $50 for alterations. Alterations which ended up costing $110 after it finally fit. So I guess it just depends. I had a great time with this business, my best friend not so much.

After failed attempts at two other boutiques, my sister suggested Premier, as she knew others who had purchased there. We walked in without an appointment around 2pm and were told that they would schedule us for 2:30, which was a perfect amount of time to grab a quick beer at Me N Ed's. When we returned, we were treated as if we had scheduled this appointment months ago. The gal who greeted us (I feel terrible that I can't remember her name) was so incredibly sweet and treated us as if we were VIP, not inconvenienced by our last minute visit. When I told her I was looking for long sleeve and would be married at San Francisco City Hall, she gasped and said "I know the dress!" We chose a few dresses and she explained how the appointment would go, then she helped me into the dressing room. She offered me my privacy as I put on the dresses but was there to offer insight and clip me where needed. Later, one of the buttons flew off a dress I was trying on and she was so cool about it. She was personable, asked me about myself, and you could tell she genuinely wanted to get to know me as a person. Anyway, the first dress I tried on, the one she originally mentioned when I checked in, was PERFECT for me. Her and the other salesperson on staff that day both took time to come over and tell me how beautiful it looked. I tried on other dresses but kept coming back to that first one. She also gave us an educator discount (no sales tax) and made sure it was in my budget. I loved that she didn't pressure me to try on dresses that were out of budget or not my style. She was sweet and complimentary and genuine throughout my appointment. I felt great buying from her and this shop. I went from being so nervous to try on dresses to feeling great and confident in myself. The ladies that day made me feel so beautiful and special, which is how a bride should feel when shopping for a gown for the most important day of their life. My ONLY complaint is that they don't do alterations, and I wish they did because I feel that I would trust them completely with that, plus I want to go back in there again. :)
