Transparent, trustworthy business, which is such a relief to find when you have no idea what it is…read moregoing to take to fix a plumbing leak. We found a mystery exterior leak on our property the weekend before Christmas and had to shut off water to the house. After another plumbing company scheduled an appointment for us and then later canceled it with no explanation, we called True Plumbing on Monday morning. Eric from True Plumbing showed up when he said he would, took a quick look at our problem, and explained the three possible causes of the leak, along with how much each would cost to fix if said problem was found. The area would have to be minimally excavated to locate the underground leak. He was very up front about what the diagnostic process would be and what the repairs would entail for each of the three possible scenarios, including what he would do to avoid damaging the driveway. Eric was transparent, very easy to communicate with, and obviously a knowledgable, experienced plumber. After that five-minute conversation, my husband and I both felt 100% comfortable hiring True Plumbing to come back with a team to excavate the problem the next day. True Plumbing got to work when they said they would, the day before Christmas Eve no less. Sure enough, the problem was scenario #1 on their list of three possible causes of the leak. A decade before we bought the house, the sprinkler system had been connected to the house's water pipes using an illegal part that had finally failed. True Plumbing said that since sprinkler technicians are not certified plumbers, problems like that are common. Be careful who you hire to tamper with your water pipes! True Plumbing fixed the leak and we had water restored to the house within a couple of hours! The cost ($800) matched the verbal estimate to the penny. Use a debit card or cash to avoid the 3% credit card fee. They even completely cleaned up their work site. Real professionals. 100% recommend.

Super Flush Plumbing - Ground movement caused this drain pipe break in Irving

We were in the process of selling our house in June 2025. The buyers ordered a plumbing inspection…read morethrough their own contractor, and a sewer line leak was found underneath our hallway bathroom. We also needed some repairs to our water heater, as well as replacing the water shutoff valves in the laundry room. We got three bids from different plumbers, and Super Flush Plumbing came in at the best price. The house was vacant, so any work performed had to be done without any supervision. The plumber, Hershel and his excavation crew, came out and dug an 8 foot tunnel underneath our house to reach the reported leak. After the pipe was repaired, he conducted further testing to see if the leak was fixed. All of a sudden it became "multiple leaks" that were found in the same bathroom, as well as a potential leak under our laundry room on the opposite side of the house. It started as a $5,300 sewer line repair--then they added on a $705 charge for (according to their invoice) "having to chip through a beam in order to make repair." Then it became an extra $150 charge to "replace angle stop at hall bath toilet." Then it became an extra $2,983 to fix one of the other "leaks" that were found in the bathroom. THEN, it became an extra $1,338 to replace the p-trap under our bathtub which was also "leaking." But wait, there's more! An additional charge of $783.91 to "replace waste and overflow with a/c condensate on hall bath tub." What started as a $5,300 sewer line repair turned into $11,260 in leak repairs. Combined with the water heater repairs and shutoff valve replacements in the laundry room, we had now spent a total of over $13,000. The buyers, who are already under contract, need every leak fixed before closing on the house. The plumber then conducts further testing on the rest of the house. Sure enough, he confirms there is indeed a leak underneath our laundry room. In order to reach the leak, we can pay a couple thousand dollars to dig another tunnel under the house--OR, we can with the much "cheaper" option and let him jackhammer a hole in our dining room floor for another $3,200. He then tells me he's "pretty sure" we have a potable water leak at our water meter, as the box is constantly filling up with water. This was officially the nail-in-the-coffin and were ready to move on and find another plumber. Meanwhile, work has yet to be completed on the previous bathroom repairs--Hershel needed to backfill the concrete that was dug out of our bathroom floor during the repair process. The 8-foot tunnel that was dug under the house also needed to be backfilled. At the beginning of this whole saga, we had paid Super Flush about 50% up front before work could begin. Hershel informs me that they are requiring the full payment to be submitted before they can backfill the tunnel and concrete. I informed him that I've never had a contractor or vendor EVER require full payment before work was completed. He then tells me he needs to "ensure that we get paid. We have to pay these guys to put all the dirt back." Uh, we've already paid you several thousand in work...you're telling me you don't have the reserve funds to pay the dirt crew? He then says "We are a reputable company and that is not how we work." He agrees to finish the work and we pay him what's due. We decided to hire a master plumber, with 30+years experience, to come out and perform another leak test. His report showed that there was NO LEAK found under the laundry room and NO LEAK at our water meter--it was just groundwater filling up the box. A few days later, we hired a sprinkler system company to replace the double-check valve (which we knew we've been needing for a while), and they also confirmed there is no leak at our water meter. Ultimately, my wife and I should have trusted our gut a lot sooner and recognized we were getting screwed. We're not handy with repair work, so we just trusted what Super Flush told us was needed. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it ended up costing my family several thousand dollars that were "flushed" away.

We've been using them for several years now, but our latest experience sealed the deal. Recently we had them come out for a sewer pipe inspection from another plumbing company which provided us with a yearly scope of our line. They discovered a slab leak underneath our home due to a shifted sewer line. The estimate to fix the line was very high. We decided to get a second opinion, so we called Clearwater. Jason and Andrew were able to come out immediately to check the line. They ran a camera through the line and did see the disconnection but further under our slab, quite a bit further than the other company noted in their estimate. Jason gave us a quote that was much more affordable. Jason told me the excavation crew could be there the next day. The excavation company Clearwater uses was wonderful. I've never seen 3 more hardworking individuals. It was amazing they were able to dig a 10' tunnel under our slab in less than 3 hours. A day later, Jason and Andrew from Clearwater arrived to take care of the repairs, schedule the final inspection and testing and get the excavation company to backfill the tunnel. Clearwater seamlessly took care of a major repair with finesse and professionalism. If you need a plumber, Clearwater is the one to call. Update, a few days later, we discovered a link in the plumbing under our kitchen sink. Due to me being an amputee and my wife with a broken right wrist, we were not able to make the repairs ourselves. I called early in the morning and Jason and Andrew were out to take care of the leak a few hours later, awesome service.
