I had called around and got a number of quotes and Scott's was one of the lowest but he also explained what materials he would use and that he would use metal reinforced frame for the double gates so they wouldn't sag. Well that sold me as no one else said anything about how double wood gates would sag without the metal frame. Quote was received 6/8/23 and approved same day and was told that the job could be completed by 7/16/23. I paid for all materials up front. Job was completed on 3/30/24 and I paid them without question $10,000.00 for labor even though I was quoted $9,500 for labor. 9 months of never knowing when they were going to show up and work it was finally finished. I have had nothing but trouble since with gate alignment, timer malfunction and now keypad malfunction. I was told 5/2/24 (33 days after completion) that it would cost me parts and labor to come fix the gate and that there wasn't any warranty on thier workmanship.
