After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!! I probably would have bought an estimate of, say, $500. I might have even believed them and had the work done. TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS though? On a car worth half that? LMAO. They aren't the brightest at Ray's I guess. I mean, I understand that Billybob the mechanic needs to replace 20 of his teeth and Bertha the receptionist needs a new MAGA hat, but $2000 is a little....on the nose. If you DO decide to go here, dress in dirty camo and Carhartt, anything nicer will make them think you're a millionaire city slicker who needs to be fleeced of their money. These guys are straight up hillbilly criminals and they are too stupid to even scam properly lmao.

If you have a small fortune you're looking to spend, put it to some better use by setting a match to it instead.
