We came out of it with a nice small glass (Celtic Flame pattern) and small bowl (in Beehive), one purchased at the Factory and one at the Store. Great staff, impressive craftmanship, interesting demo, and a great dog at the Factory. Yes it's a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. We carried our crystal treasures in a carry on without significant incident. However, the bag did get flagged as through the scanner as that heavy crystal throws out an impressive profile. The Security guy was impressed how well it was wrapped too.

As far as I can tell, Fado is the only one in Dingle, with antiques downstairs and a cool little art gallery upstairs. Gayle came along and put up with my wandering through Fado, both of us knowing full well that we didn't need one more thing to clutter up the house. That's rarely stopped me, and among the nicely curated offerings here, I found a little item to take home for some still undefined use.

We popped in while wandering around Dingle and spent a few minutes inside looking through all the wool sweaters, hats and socks. Such a great selection and variety of sweaters, so many colors and patterns! In addition to the wool items, they had a small selection of other souvenirs including clothing, keychains, hats, artworks, etc... Service was welcoming and friendly. Prices seemed fair for what I have seen while in Ireland. Overall, solid little shop in Dingle!

There's a really nice cafe upstairs that I believe was a missed Lunch opportunity. Downstairs could be construed as a tourist shop, but I think the quality is higher here, albeit at maybe a higher price point. I thought if felt more like a department store, and one that takes a little more time to fully appreciate the well organized selection contained within. Store staff were there to help, and pretty much waited until you asked or looked confused.

The very attractive artistic offerings were well curated and of various media and price points. Note that when I visit coops like this, I assume that the price of a piece is a fair reflection of that persons artistic skill and effort. My purchase of "The Dingle Moon" was a case in point, when I first blanched at the price, but quickly came to my senses. And what an attractive textile-based piece it is! The resident artist minding the shop was friendly, very knowledgeable about the inventory, and local custom insightful. If you want an quality alternative to the plethora of souvenir tchotchkes that you'll find in Dingle, this is one place to visit.
