Hi! So I did not physically go to this location so I can't speak about the in face customer service, but I can speak about the drink I received. Noted: I got my personal UberEats to deliver this from Georgia to Maryland. I went to Cali and got hooked on Ding Tea, so I was craving it. Of course I was a bit picky because it was gonna be a long drive but I still wanted boba. As you know, boba absorbs the tea after a while and it turns slimy and disgusting. So I asked for boba on the side, and they complied!! Hack: to make boba good again, wash the boba. microwave it with a damp paper towel on top for 30 sec & wash it a bit. (It will lose the syrup but hey no soggy boba) and BOOM chewy boba. Okay back to the drink. It was good! I asked for 50% sugar and they delivered it well! My only problem is that it's way too much milk but sweetness was on point so you go!! Btw whoever took the order and made my drink... thank you for my picky self read more

I always come to this location just because it is conveniently located very close to me. The outside of the establishment if filled with many other cafes and restaurants that are very delicious. The interior design is clean and cute with the aestheically pleasing shelves and decor. My go-to drink is the wintermelon milk tea with either golden boba or green apple star jelly. The tea is always good but this particular day I went was not very good. My friends drink was made incorrectly, twice. And although there being 8 people (yes I counted 8) behind the register where the teas were being made they were not doing anything. Only one girl was taking orders at the register and 3 other people were making teas. I do not know what the other 4 people were doing, but I know for sure they were not making use of their time. Another thing my friends pointed out was a girl looking at us for a long time, which I found very odd (and funny). Overall, I will continue coming to this boba shop but I think management will need to over look their employees a little more. read more

Except I got the lychee yakult drink and they wouldn't let me change the ice level for this drink... even though they manually add the ice into the drinks because of "dilution" I just want no ice please.. I like Ding Tea. Compared to other boba places, Ding Tea's interior is visually pleasing. It also reminds me of Mac Lab in terms of layout, seating, and interior décor (although Mac Lab has super cute seasonal decorations and Ding Tea isn't there yet). The Ding Tea Flower Wall is what drew me to Ding Tea in the first place; it's actually pretty easy to recreate in your own home but it might just be more convenient to go to Ding Tea and get that picture lol Ding Tea is located in the same plaza as Sweet Hut but it's on the other side by Kremo and the new chicken place that just opened up recently. Parking kind of sucks, though, since the spots nearest to Ding Tea are often taken up by customers of the other nearby shops. The menu is pretty simple. They offer a variety of drinks in different forms like lattes, yakult, and juices. Like some other places, Ding Tea's toppings are extra so unless a drink comes with jelly (such as the aloe vera juice that comes with jelly), you'll have to purchase the toppings on the side. I ordered the Jasmine green tea latte with golden boba and I forced my husband to order a drink for himself because there is a $7 debit/credit card limit (I made sure to clarify with the cashier girl) and I didn't have any cash. The Jasmine green tea is mild in flavor, which I liked because strong tea flavors make it hard for me to want to finish the drink. My husband thought the aloe vera lychee juice was okay and he said he's had better versions of the drink elsewhere. I liked his drink as well. Duluth is overflowing with boba shops so the nice thing is if you don't like Ding Tea, you can always go elsewhere but I would encourage you to try Ding Tea so that you know where to put this shop on your personal list of Duluth's Top 5 places for Boba or something like that. read more

Came on a Sunday afternoon to see what the recent hype is about. Having a 3 Michelin star location in Taiwan, I had high expectations. On my first visit I was greeted by easy parking yet a rather long lasting wait given the amount of people in line. Interior is very trendy, with an attractive white and floral theme that makes it perfect for insta foodies. On first visit I ordered the "Monster" which was a coffee mixed drink that was featured drink at the moment. Initial taste was way too sweet with a very overpowering syrup flavor. Much more balanced is the Hokkaido Milk Black tea that was a much better overall tea. Make sure to order less sugar, for the normal level of sugar is a bit too overpowering, at least for me. Kiwi green tea is also a great drink to get if you're not feeling milk tea, pretty decent blend of distinguishable kiwi and green tea flavors. Must check out for Metro Atlanta Tea lovers. read more

Very good and great tasting tea. Although way too busy and I feel as if it is just a tad overly hyped. I get that they have this cool flower wall that's great for Instagram and all, but not really worth the long wait/line especially when there are so many other bubble tea options nearby that are just as good. They do have the sea salt cream/foam which is not available at most bubble tea places. The golden boba is pretty interesting. I think they are just a little but chewier than the regular honey boba (black). But really, you can't tell a dramatic difference. Their coconut jelly are really coconutty tasting, which is good but can really affect the flavor of the drink especially if you got a mild flavor that can easily be overshadowed by the coconut flavor. read more

Can I give no stars? Sorry but this place is not good...I would probably even pick Sweet Hut over this place's bubble tea. Ding Tea is apparently a really popular bubble tea franchise but this location is just ruining the reputation...just like how the Gongcha in Duluth is ruining the company's reputation. First off, the service was extremely slow. I get it's a new place but there were enough workers behind the counter so I shouldn't have needed to wait 10 minutes for my drink to be made. Second of all, I always order "no ice" anywhere every time I get bubble tea and I always receive NO ice in my drinks. So tell me why this place gives me ice even though I ordered my drink with no ice??? The aesthetics here get an A+ for sure. I love the floral wall and the overall clean look of the shop. There used to be so much parking on that end of the lot but now that the small businesses are doing better it's getting harder to find closer parking. Not complaining about it because that is a good thing too but just so you know, if you go at a busier time, you might have to park halfway down the lot. It's true that the wait time could improve but I've been twice, once at a slower time and another at a busy time. When there wasn't many people, I ordered and got my drinks within 10 minutes and we had ordered 4. The drinks were all fantastic. I got the monster boba drink which is perfect for me since I have a huge sweet tooth but if you don't like really sweet things I wouldn't get it. It's made with fresh milk, sea cream, and brown sugar. Their golden boba is delicious! I've heard good things about their crystal boba but I haven't tried that yet. Their taro milk tea is probably my favorite out of all the boba shops in Duluth. When I went at a busier time, it did take much longer. I was expecting that though so not a big deal. My parents serve boba as well at our restaurant so I've done my fair share of handshaking drinks since we also make each drink fresh. The process does take a lot longer especially when people are ordering different sugar levels, ice levels, etc. I'm not going to criticize about the wait time for that. I do think that there could be a different method for the line wait though. It's a mess and a lot of the times people are backed up waiting against the wall in a bunch so you can't even find the end. Try the golden boba! This is a Taiwanese boba chain with several locations internationally, as well as a location in Taiwan with 3 Michelin stars. I've never heard of a boba place with Michelin stars so I decided to check out the hype. The restaurant has limited seating and a long line out the door, so expect to take your order to go. But not before you sneak a pic with your drink in front of the lovely floral wall that is definitely insta-ready. I decided on the Hokkaido oolong toffee candy milk tea with golden boba. If you like bubble tea for the boba, then this is definitely a place to try. The golden boba here is softer than other tapioca balls yet still retains its chew. I don't care for boba and usually spring for grass jelly in my drinks instead, however I actually enjoyed the golden boba here and would love to order it again. It also is not as sweet as other places. Milk tea wise, I did not think the drink itself was anything spectacular. I did get the hint of toffee flavor with my milk tea that was good, but the base was more milk and would've loved some more floral notes or tea flavor to it if I could have. Overall, not my favorite boba tea place in the area but I definitely think it's one to check out if not only for their golden boba. He has cool contacts, and let me use my yelp 10% coupon. Interior: Super aesthetic. Pretty layout and clean. Wait: Super long line. It was new years however so I understand. I waited a total of 20 minutes to order and receive my two drinks. Price: Typical boba tea pricing. I spent about $9 for two regular sized drinks with $1 tip. Taste: Terrible. Flavorless, and overly sweetened. Do not get 100% sugar if you are prepared for diabetes to come into your life. I took one sip of my drink, and that was it for me. I didn't even bother the employees to remake my drink because I know the pain and the annoyance of a customer complaint, so I let it easy on the business. It was also busy as well. Would I come back? Probably not any time soon. I understand that this is a new business, and there is still room for improvement, however, ding tea isn't my cup of tea nor worth the hype. The bubble teas here at delicious, but the customer service is mediocre and I'll probably not be returning here. They have a Bobo Monster bubble tea that they advertise, but they refuse to make it when they get busy. That's understandable and I get it, but instead of telling us the truth that the Monster bubble tea is time-consuming to make, the owner of the shop lied to us and said they ran out of brown sugar. How did we know it was a lie? The shop workers were making 3 Bobo Monster bubble teas as we sat there waiting for our order. Yes, we saw them making the drinks with brown sugar. We even asked the worker what she was making and she said it was their specialty Bobo Monster drink. I love their taro jasmine tea latte bubble tea with crystal boba. Their crystal boba is made in the shop and is less chewy than the regular boba. Their Brown Sugar Milk tea (30% sugar, no ice) with regular boba was pretty solid. The taste was reminiscent of ones that I have had in Taiwan, which was really nice. The boba was on the soft/mushy side for me, but every place is different, so you might prefer this. Their crystal boba is pretty cool and I definitely recommend trying it. It is translucent, less chewy and has more of a bounce to it. If you find regular boba off-putting, you may like these! Each topping seems to cost extra, even the first one. I think in the future, it would be nice if their pictures of some of their drinks were actually labelled with the name of the drink. I saw some pretty neat pictures displayed but had no idea what they were called. Unfortunately, they do not take card if your total was under a certain amount, so keep that in mind. Their interior consists of a main row of seats with the counter and tea making stations to one side, much like the Kung Fu Tea and Gongcha locations nearby. This is a great place to go to if you want pretty cheap boba tea. The prices range from $3 to $4 which isn't bad compared to other stores. Area: Spacious parking that can get busy easily due to the near by restaurants. The inside is very pretty! There is a nice flower wall that can be used to take pictures. They also have a grass wall as well. There are small tables that you can sit at, and if you ask, they provide games as well. Drinks: I usually get their Toffee Hokkaido Milk Tea or Honey Green Tea. These teas can be very sweet, so I advise you to reduce the sugar when you order. In addition, I put their golden boba and aloe vera as toppings. The golden boba is very chewy, but can be very bad if not made correctly. Most toppings are 55¢ each which is average for most places. Price: One of my favorite parts of this place is that they have nice prices! Most places have $3-4 drinks with charging drinks, but I got a large drink with two toppings and only paid $3.65 with tax! Stop by here to grab a cup of tea or two before continuing our drive. They only have take out at the moment. The cashier was friendly and was able to describe the drinks to me. I decided on two different drink, the taro mash with green milk tea and the honey jasmine tea. The taro mash is fresh taro spread on the inside walls of the cups and filled with green milk tea. It was similar to a Vietnamese dessert. I prefer my drinks to have more of a tea flavor and this drink did not have it. Drinks overall are good. However, their new tiramisu foam is awful. I expected it to look like the advertised picture or even similar but it's a chocolate color and even tastes like chocolate. Doesn't really taste like tiramisu and the texture of it is very gritty which made the drink very unpleasant and difficult to overlook. Came for the soft opening to try it out. It is located in the Gwinnett Station Shopping Center next to Kremo and Choong Man Chicken. Easy parking. I got the aloe vera lychee juice and added star fruit jelly. Regular sugar and regular ice. Just the right level of sweetness. I loved it! My fiancé got the hokkaido oolong milk tea with 50% sugar, less ice, rainbow jelly, and star fruit jelly. It would have been too sweet if he got 100% sugar. Ding Tea is a-ok! They have my favorite topping, the crystal boba, but their tea is mediocre. It's a bit on the light side for me, but it's not watered down like some places. I've tried the brown sugar milk tea and the honey milk tea. Next time I will have to try tea without milk to see how the clear tea drinks are. We also got one of their special drinks, berry something, and it wasnt worth it. It's just berry puree with milk. Not allowed to change sugar level for it. The drinks aren't the problem, it's the service. Because of quarantine, there was (understandably) a 4 customer limit inside. However, my cousin accidentally walked in when there was already 4 people inside, and she acknowledged that was her mistake, but the workers did NOT have to raise their voice at her when she's the paying customer. Later on as my cousin and I waited for our drinks, more people walked in when there was already four people inside, but there was only crickets. None of the employees said anything about it! I can't help but think all of the ding tea locations are cursed with some type of color/racial bias as my cousin is darker than the other people who walked in, and the max capacity has already been reached. Definitely do not recommend coming here, especially when there's places in Duluth with drinks just as good (if not better) and has better service by tenfold. read more

I enjoyed my experience here! It really drives in customers who are looking for that ~aesthetic~ experience. Compared to other bubble tea places, I prefer this over sweet hut and kungfu due to the different varieties and flavors, but if you're into the basics it's nothing new to see here. I liked the seating and the decor in Ding Tea also. I tried the Hokkaido Milk Tea (Caramel). Although it was good tea, I will say that I didn't taste any of the caramel and felt that it tasted like your average milk tea you can get anywhere. They use their distinct "golden pearls" which I felt were softer than the usual black pearls. If we were in Italy, and people had a culture of sitting together with strangers - this layout would work. But, the fact that there are a limited amount of tables filling the space, it limits the amount of sitting room as typically 1-2 people will occupy a table made for 4 - thus reducing the amount of people who can stay here. My first word of advice - get smaller tables and/or reshape the space. It will work out better in the long run. I got the the signature milk tea and I loved it! It wasnt too sweet and had a good balance. I was a bit shocked that toppings were not included but the price here is still lower than other establishments - even after the .55 shock lol. Dinh tea is popping everywhere, especially in ATL. There is one ding tea opened in Norcross. I like the Duluth more because is close to where I live. I like the atmosphere and the decor is nice. The parking is very limited. The ding tea signature drink is good. I like there matcha green tea. Really good! There topping are not bad. It's a best drink here. Recommend you give this place a try. read more
