I highly recommend this service To begin, his services helped me pass college. I studied public health and gerontology. I had to take chemistry 1 & 2 online during the summer and once a week we had exams, he was so patient with teaching me everything I needed and I passed every quiz and the exam with flying colors. It's crazy how smart he is. I can now thankfully say I've been working my dream job and I'm so thankfully for Robert due to the fact that he helped make my goals and dream come true with his assistance. Best part about his tutoring services would have to be the fact he is laid back but determined with a goal to get you to understand. You'll never feel stupid and you'll know that you are getting your money worth. I tried multiple different tutoring sites before I found Robert and I hated it. With Robert I felt like a friend was helping me. Long story short, this is the best tutoring services if you want the best and top notch tutoring.

Sure, it was one of the top public schools in the nation with a 95% graduation rate, but everyone was SO spoiled (including myself). If I were to ever move back to MD and have kids, I would never send my kids there. (I guess never say never). Wootton does offer 1st class education, but not 1st class etiquette/social skills. I take 1 star off for the lame brats who go there (including myself, an alumnus)... but seriously 4 stars b/c I don't want the public school system to hate on me.

Majority of students are spoiled brats who have their parents money and think that they're the one ones in the world that matter, some of the teachers are either weirdos or assholes, and admin doesn't really do shit. My counselor is horrible, she put me in a class with a student that harassed me throughout middle school and she was specifically told not to put me in any classes with her because of that, yet she did. My counselor also never deals with any of my problems and I actually had a teacher deal with it quicker than my own counselor, which is fucking horrible. The bathrooms always have plastic wrap over the urinals and toilets, so students can only really use a few bathrooms, and the air conditioning sucks ass, it's always hot, even in summer. The busses are horrible and so is my bus driver. My bus driver is rude and aggressive when he doesn't like students, and breaks hard on the bus when a students he doesn't like is on the bus, I've almost hit my head and fallen out of my seat, and nothing's been done, and this was first reported a year ago. He would also kick kids off of the bus and claim they never used the bus even when they did everyday and he would literally kick them off just because he didn't like them.

(Montgomery College Rockville Part 1 of 2) 10/16/19…read more Montgomery College in Rockville Maryland. My old stomping ground and where I found a major I really liked. A major I never aquire, because I got burned out. I tried two different to continue my education ang graduate from college, but I guess as of now...2019...its not likely to happen. Let's take a step back and I will tell you what happened with me over the years at Montgomery College. In 1996-1997 I was attending Marshall University. Yeah, the same University where the movie We Are Marshall was filmed. I had come to Montgomery College to repair my grade point average. At Marshall the College life had gotten good, but I wasn't prefirming well in all of my classes. History is just one example. The teacher...no...professor, had her whole class sign in using one's social security number as way of attendance. I put my name down instead of my social security number. What the hell kind of system is that? Off topic for a moment. I once applied to work at a Fed Ex in Rockville. It was a group interview and at the end of the group interview they had people put their social security number down on paper. The paper was passed all the way down to me. I put my name down and passed it on. A few others followed my lead. Needless to say, we weren't hired, had a list of social security numbers in my head,....but I digress. I saw every student get 20 to 30 pages of reading every night. If you fell behind you were shit out of luck. The game of catch up was a very popular game in her class. I did what I could, but failed and ended up dropping her class. I ended up dropping a four hour algebra class that met twice a week too. Needless to say, I need my GPA at a higher level and once I enrolled in Montgomery College, I kicked some major ass. I had a new game plan and I liked the size of these college. The campus was pretty much all in one place without having to travel long distances to get to classes. Upon regestiering, I saw the line seemed pretty long, but it moved fairly quickly. It was then I notice a sign with a picture on the wall. The sign said "And you think you have it bad." The picture showed lines of students out of the building going all the way towards the security office and beyond. Now adays there should be a line since online enrollment is the new way to do things. Paying for books was expensive and the return of unwanted books was highway robbery. This is the way colleges are and this is not going to change. Now if you didn't know, there are three Montgomery Colleges. In no particular order, Rockville Montgomery College, Germantown and Takoma/Silver Spring campuses. Since I now lived in the Rockville area, I sometimes walked, drove or took the bus depending on my mood. This is a day/night campus, but you didn't live on campus like other colleges do. During the Spring semester of 97, I took several classes to help get my grade point average up. By the end of it all, there I got ready to take a test where if you don't pass, you don't pass the class. I believe they called it the competency exam. I had A's in the class, but failed the test. I appealed their fail grade, but lost. I was bummed out, but knew I could pass on the next try. I was taking classes that were beyond the normal, but it helped me out a great deal later on. Yeah, once I got over taking English 001 and 002 I learned a great deal and more importantly, had fun. Between classes after finishing homework, I stumbled upon an arcade inside the Student Center. I don't know if the students center still has this arcade and pool, but it was a way to unwind. I believe there was a small copy center there too...I may be have been something else though. I noticed the last time I was in Maryland, Montgomery College has been broadcasting the school's mascot. A large Raven and the Color of Montgomery seems to be my favorite color purple. When I went to this school, I never saw much of the mascot or the new colored clothing. Guess not enough merchandise is being sold and Montgomery College is trying to change that with better clothes. I will check this out for myself next week. Correction, the mascot for Montgomery College Rockville, the mascot is a Raptor not a Raven...I was corrected when I saw a picture of the mascot sign. *I'm running out of writing room, do I will write more later.....to be continued."

This is one of three Montgomery College campuses and is the one I've personally spent the most time taking classes over my tenure, which has been far from linear. There is parking that surrounds the circular campus, mostly lots, but there is a garage as well. The facilities are fairly nice and it's my preferred campus with Germantown taking a close second. There are busses that run through the campus all day and into the evening.

Best kept secret in IT…read more I attended ACE in the summer of 2007 for classes to prepare me for A+ and Network+ certification examinations. My goal was to learn the basics about computing and these classes definitely allowed me to reach that goal. Their hands on approach to learning about computers and how they work has definitely taught me a lot for the short time that I was there. It was a bit pricey since I didn't use financial assistance (which they do offer) but it was well worth the money I paid and I don't regret paying for any of it. The fact that its also a CompTIA examination site, also won me over. The concepts and skills I learned from ACE make going there one of the best decisions that I've ever made but I only wish more people in my field knew about it. Well, consider this one of many ways of me getting the word out about them. Keep up the good work!

They even have a national team member teach the slalom classes, and you can find the owner, DC kayaking legend Tom McEwan, teaching classes and leading trips to Mexico and Canada for all abilities. If you think white water paddling is for you, I can't think of a better school to teach you the ropes. Best of all, while most other schools in the DC area offer only beginner classes, Liquid Adventures offers classes for all ranges of abilities from beginner to advanced. In fact, I still paddle their Cheat river training programs in the Spring of each year, and will have them teach my kids how to paddle come summer. On Father's Day last year, my kids and I signed up for an introductory private lesson. Tom is a legend in the whitewater kayaking world, so we were excited that he came out to guide us that day. My kids had both spent significant time in kayaks at their summer camps, but Tom took the time to get us properly outfitted in his boats, and then review basic principles on land before we got in the water. Once in the water, we reviewed several basic safety issues, how to give each other bow rescues if we flipped over, and how to exit the boat if needed. Then off we went! Tom guided us into some gentle moving water, and took us into progressively bigger rapids as our comfort level increased. At one point, my 9 year old daughter flipped over - which of course happens routinely - and she calmly waited, upside down, for Tom to quickly paddle over and give her a bow rescue. It was awesome that she didn't panic and stayed in her boat. Since then, we've really gotten to know LAKS. My 13 year old son has become an excellent kayaker through Tom's after-school program, where LAKS picks kids up from local middle/high schools and takes them out to the river. It is a super program, that he has thoroughly enjoyed. Both of my kids also spent the winter practicing their rolling techniques in the pool with the LAKS instructors, and are now fully confident in big whitewater with bombproof rolls. This summer, Tom invited my son to start more intense training with him out at the Mirant Power Plant in Dickerson, MD, where they have a man-made whitewater course. Those workouts have dramatically improved his skills, and his muscles are happily sore for 2 days. Next week, he will participate in the LAKS' summer camp: kayaking out on the river all day, plus an overnight trip where they'll camp out and cook dinner over the fire. (I want to go!) While we haven't joined one yet, LAKS runs kayaking trips to Mexico, Canada, and elsewhere. We hope to do one soon! So, if you want to learn to kayak, or want to take a kayaking trip, give Tom and Ashley a call!
