I feel like this is one of those places that wants to be a few different things and somehow, it actually works. Part almost dive bar, part tasty restaurant, part events/banquet space. I've been here a variety of times for various situations. Part of a large group event held in the back, just for dinner with friends, a date night and also late night drinks. One thing that was in common with every experience is that the service was on point. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive and they know their stuff. Drinks were refilled efficiently and items were cleared without making you feel rushed. They have a variety of events (live music, themed parties) and also have Italian night with additional menu items. They are known for their pepperoni muffins and I can see why. They are a perfect blend of flavor and there is just the right ratio of ingredients and crisp. Definitely my favorite thing I've tried. I also enjoyed their pizza and their salads. I wasn't a huge fan of the sandwiches (seemed expensive for what you got, but nothing was wrong or bad). They have a parking lot across the street and there is also street parking available if for some reason the lot is full. Back again for their delicious chili. It didn't disappoint but you have to like spicy to really enjoy it. Mondays are Italian Nights with loads of Italian menu items so we each had one of the specials. Had salads first which were really good and huge. They came with the specials. Result was a lot of take home to be enjoyed another day. All guests are greeted by the family. It's a great friendly atmosphere and worth the taking the roads less traveled to get there. read more

We went tonight, it is Monday and it was "Italian night." We got there in time for happy hour as well so I had an espresso martini. It was a little smaller than I'm used to, but it was six dollars and it was delicious! And it had just enough alcohol, I don't think I could've had more. My husband got the chicken Parmesan with a salad. I ordered the new mushroom and garlic chicken penne. Both were incredibly tasty. They both came with garlic bread, which, on a scale from one to five, was probably a three but I love bread so it's fine! He really liked the sauce on his chicken Parm. His salad looked like a basic bagged salad, though, but the ranch was good and he enjoyed it. To order it separate it is six dollars and that always blows my mind because bagged salad does not come even close to that and a salad made from real iceberg is so much better than the bagged version. That being said, he also got a side of broccoli which, I believe, is a lemon garlic broccoli. He said it was very good. I meant to taste it, but I was busy with my plate and I forgot. I ordered my meal with the wedding soup. On a scale from 1 to 5, I give the wedding soup a three. It had a whole lot of broth, more than I would normally expect in a cup of soup. It was good, but didn't have a lot of kale or spinach, I've had better elsewhere. Still, it wasn't too salty and it was a nice change from the salad I usually get. My pasta was the mushroom garlic chicken penne. The flavor was very good. However, my only real complaint was that the sauce was like soup and not sauce. It came with a butter, garlic sauce I want to say, but it could've used some thickening with some pasta water. I'm not sure if they thickened it ahead of time, my spoon did have what looked like a little bit of thickened residue, but the chef really needed to add more pasta water for thickening. It was way too thin. I was worried the entire time I was eating it, but it was going to drip on my shirt. I brought half of it home because after the Martini I wasn't feeling all that hungry. She gave me a regular Styrofoam container so I left most of the sauce behind because I knew it would just drip out. It's like putting soup in one of those clamshell containers, you know that's a bad idea. Even though I left the broth behind, my husband took the container and brought it in the house before I came in. When he came out, he had it all over his pants, all over the sidewalk... Apparently the penne hid a lot of the sauce inside of the noodles and he must not have been very careful carrying it. I will have the rest of it tomorrow, though, I'm sure it will be fine, although probably not as flavorful since most of the sauce is on my sidewalk or my husband's pants. read more

It was my birthday meal with wife & son, big positive change from previous place wide open & thats where the positives end, ordered a combo sandwich never ordered fries but there they were all limp & cold & not fresh cut as advertised they were coated frozen fries with so much salt even if they were edible you could not simply because of the salt, when I ordered my request to waitress no mayo, horsey sauce on side please, combo came packed with mayo & an order of limp fries not ordered $3.00, also the socalled french onion soup had no onions & a piece of mozz on top not even broiled to brown, waitress stated they don't have a broiler, upon asking to remove my order & wife & son's fries not ordered socalled owner steps up like an old gun slinger I understand you have a problem, well from there it went down hill after this assclown called me a liar & stated I was sitting right there & heard you order mayo, even the waitress chimed in at this time by agreeing with me on what i said, I suggested he goes back to his perch & not bother us & we received our check, NEVER TO BE SEEN NEAR THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A RESTAURANT AGAIN, BTWthe waitress said she wished they got a new cook since he doesn't have a clue how to cook which I agree with completely & new owners would be the best for Trafford & customers, CHEAP, BUNK, LOWER THAN BAR FOOD ! read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would! i had a small gathering of family for my 55th birthday (maybe 18 people). The entire staff (along with the owner-who came in on her day off "just to make sure everything was good") was absolutely top notch! Our servers Chris and Katie were beyond exceptional! Nothing was forgotten/missed on anyone's order! The drinks were flowing and we had such an amazing time! I cannot forget Ron! What an amazing and kind man! He just kept cranking out the most delicious food! I highly recommend this place for any celebration or just a place to hang out! In Addition, the patrons were super nice and friendly.
