Arie catered a pre-Kabbalat Shabbat services dinner for our family Bat Mitzvah weekend. Everything was fantastic - the food, service, presentation. The menu he gave us to choose from is positively mouthwatering, with many creative selections across multiple categories. Beef kabobs were a particular favorite. The meal got rave reviews from all our guests! read more

Her dinners & kiddush lunches are fantastic, catered events are amazing! Everything is so delicious, so gourmet, versatile & varied cuisines, East to West. Plenty in the comfort food dept, also vegan. Huge Yum-factor. Beautiful presentations as well. From appetizers to pastries to die for and everything in between. The JCC East Bay used Dina's Kosher Catering for our 2024 Older Adult Passover Luncheon. We had 80 guests so needed a lot of K for P food! Arie of Dina's Kosher Catering was so wonderful to work with from start to finish! From the first email inquiry to discussing pricing all the way to the day of the event! Arie brainstormed with us to ensure the food was served warm, educated our staff on catering necessities, and stayed with us up until the very start of the event to make sure everything was set up and good to go before we opened doors! He was very punctual, traveled across the bridge to the East Bay, and was very thoughtful about the cater process from start to finish! The JCC East Bay's Community Engagement department highly recommends Dina's Kosher Catering and we look forward to partnering with Arie again for next years Passover Luncheon! Thank you Arie! read more

The best Kosher& authentic middle eastern food in the Bay Area! A new delicious menu every week so make sure you follow their email updates for the latest! They make excellent food and are accommodating any dietary restrictions you have (kosher, vegan, gluten-free). They are specializing in middle eastern food but often they offer other cuisines (Asian, European etc). I even ordered a few Asian items and they were WOW! They are also offering a catering menu for events and big groups, and do a fantastic job around the holidays making traditional favorites that will leave you feeling right at home. 5 stars for Dina's catering for the food and the service! I can't recommend them more! read more

The customer service is incredible on top of the very yummy food, my son enjoyed everything! it was fresh and very very delicious. So we had really good bar mizvah! So save your time and let someone else do the cooking! only one think the kosher passes were forgotten or something so keep in mind to ask for them few times, our Rabbi didn't touch anything, this was a little bit sad. read more

Amazing, old school "do what it takes" service and product. Dina and Arie pulled together 15 amazing kosher meals for a high touch client event we were throwing. Within one hour, we had everything we could have ever needed to amaze and delight our kosher guests. Wow!!!! Thank you so much for doing such a pristine and gorgeous job for us and for coming through last minute on a super busy holiday weekend. They don't make businesses like this anymore. Long may you run, Dina and Arie! A+++. read more

Amazing authentic Israeli cuisine influenced by Moroccan, Persian, and even European kitchen. We selected Dina's Kosher Catering to cater our sons' B'nai Mitzvah Kiddush Luncheon at Temple Beth Sholom. Since our family is originally from Russia, we wanted to provide kosher meals with a Russian twist for the event. Arie worked closely with us to make sure he could accomodate our wishes. His chef created a delicious "seleodka pod shuboi " (herring under the fur coat), blini with red caviar were perfect and desserts were just amazing. Arie took extra care to ensure that the presentation and temperature of food were right too. Thank you Arie for making our B'nai Mitzvah such an unforgettable experience! read more

Everyone here has been amazing. We had to have a bris during COVID which is a hassle in itslef, but everyone at Dina's catering helped us from planning the menu, delivering to our home, and working around the every changing schedule of our baby. The FOOD was the best part. Everything was so tasty and nothing survived. If you're looking for kosher catering for Shabbat or for events, look no further. read more

Dina's Kosher Catering has catered numerous events including classes, social functions, celebrations and business meetings I've attended throughout the years (both large and small). They also just did an excellent job catering a huge 100+ person Passover Seder I hosted and from beginning until end, Arie (Dina's son - who coordinated the menu, service and planning) was professional, detail-oriented and conscientious asking helpful questions and guiding me through a big event at a popular new venue while successfully working with lots of logistical considerations. I was very impressed by the quality of food and their creativity which truly exceeded my expectations. The food was incredibly delicious, my guests were so impressed, they gave rave reviews and even asked for the caterer's recipes! Dina is a very talented chef and this is a family-run business that I've seen go above and beyond results on many occasions. I'm so grateful to Dina's Kosher Catering and their team for helping make my big event a success and for their continued amazing service and commitment to the community! read more

We are so grateful to Arie Mann and Dina's Kosher Catering for enabling us to welcome loved ones and keep them happily and well nourished during our daughter's wedding festivities. For 5 days, Dina's provided all meals for our visiting loved ones who keep kosher, as well as catering a lovely Shabbat Dinner for 55+, including some who were unfamiliar with kosher foods. All of the foods were delicious, and Arie made the process easy! We would highly recommend the crudités platters with hummus, fresh fruit platters, brisket (and I generally avoid beef, but this was yummy), matzo ball soup, chicken kreplach (a big hit, and I would love to get Arie's recipe for the ginger-soy dipping sauce- soooo delicious), salads, cheeses, pita (thick, fresh, fluffy, tasty pita), challah, bagels and other breads, apple strudel, other parve desserts including coconut milk "ice cream" and anything else on the menu. I ordered large quantities, and was surprised at how little was leftover. It is a tribute to Arie's and Dina's skills that no one wanted to waste their food. Arie was very helpful in the planning process. He thoughtfully figured out how to best package the foods for our needs in different situations, including when guests arrived at the hotel, for Shabbat dinner at our home, during the rehearsal dinner and wedding celebrations at different venues, and to prepare to take along while sightseeing and for airplane trips home. He did an excellent job of meeting the needs of the children who were in our group, too. Dina's also provided serving utensils, plates, cups, and even a toveled soup pot and ladles for the Matzo ball soup. I'll share perhaps the two most notable compliments: 1. At the rehearsal dinner, as I was walking past a table of family members who keep kosher, my brother-in-law suddenly held out a fork with a piece on melon on it and said "you HAVE to taste this!!" He has the highest standards, and this demonstrates that Arie is very selective about his fresh produce. 2. A dear friend from Ohio emailed me before Rosh Hashanah, and said "I wish that I could call the caterer who provided your Shabbat Dinner to make our holiday meals!!" Arie and Dina's Kosher Catering deserve the high praise which they received from all of our loved ones. We are truly indebted for their hard work, caring, and talent! read more

I have worked with Dina and Arie many times for catering events put on by the Jewish Community Federation. They are simply wonderful! And it is so hard to find a caterer that is both kosher and tasty. Dina's Kosher Catering is accommodating for all types of kashruth, they are as reliable as can be and the food is always delicious. We recently had Dina cater a 4-day intensive leadership program around the Bay Area and the deliveries were always on time and in the perfect amounts for the group size. The group participants raved about the food! It is such a pleasure working with Dina and Arie. I highly recommend it. read more

Thank you to Arie and Dina for a wonderful Shabbat and wedding Aufruf. Everyone raved about the food! Even my parents thought the food was better then our wedding venue! I would highly recommend Dina's Kosher catering. I'm from LA and it's really hard here in the SF Bay Area to find a Kosher selection. Boy was I relieved to speak to Arie. He created us a custom menu based off my special requests. Worked with me and was so wonderful and easy to work with. 5 star rating from me, my husband and family. We are truly thankful :) We will definitely be using their service in the future. read more

We had a lovely experience with Dina's catering. The service is great, food is amazing, and they have many vegan options!

I can't say enough good things about Dina's catering. I messaged Arie just a few days prior to a catering needed after a funeral service and the service I got was nothing short of spectacular. Arie worked with me during all hours of the day to make sure we had the best menu set for the day. Not only was Arie prompt and incredible to work with, but the food was nothing short of that as well. All the items including beef kebab, short ribs, and Israeli salad ( to name a few) were as flavorful and fresh as can be. Thank you Arie for everything! read more

Arie and Dina's Kosher Catering is so reliable. I planned an event in San Francisco from Los Angeles and could easily count on DKC to take care of my clients, without me even being there. It took me a long time to start writing a review about Dina's Kosher Catering. The reason for that is because I simply did not know from where to start. I was honestly impressed not only by their delightful menu, but also their customer service. From concept to execution, Dina's Kosher Catering service was top notch. Throughout the months I was organizing my wedding, Arik offered me a strong helping hand. He always took the time to talk to me over the phone and help me with everything I needed. And since my wedding was performed by a rabbi from Chabad, we had to ensure that the food, wines, glassware, cutlery, etc. was 100% Kosher. Let me add that Arik and Dina are truly knowledgeable of the Kosher laws. Arik also helped me finding suppliers that, like Dina's Kosher Catering, offered me five-star services, including the Kosher cake supplier (HaveYourCake.org) and our fabulous and talented event planner (Anabel from Events by Anabel). Now let's talk about food: Arik and Dina came up with a mouthwatering menu that included options for friends and family members that are both gluten and dairy intolerant. They brought a complete tasting menu to our house and delivered a few wine bottles for my husband and I to try. To this day, every time I talk to my mom, she spends a good time of our conversation praising the wedding catering. Although I have managed corporate events and VIP dinners for Petrobras, planning my own wedding was probably one of the toughest jobs I had. But, thanks to Arik's helping hand and Dina's Kosher Catering services, it was the one I most enjoyed. The result? Family and friends had a fabulous time and I had my dream wedding. I highly recommend hiring Dina's Kosher Catering for your event. If I had to rate them from 1 to 10, I feel like paraphrasing a famous line of a film and say that "theirs goes to 11". read more

Um... the food was DELICIOUS!!! Dina and her staff were a pleasure to work with. They worked within our budget and gave us exactly what we wanted. And they made A TON of food! They considered 100 people a small event, so they can handle large parties. It was everything we ever wanted for our Jewish wedding--tons of mouthwatering Middle Eastern food. The staff was a joy and exceedingly patient and helpful. Prices were very reasonable and they worked with our budget. We had Middle Eastern food--from hummus and pita to borekas to couscous--but I hear her sushi is to die for. Anything they make, I'd wager, is amazing, because everything we had was top notch, and all the guests loved every bite. read more

I can't say enough about how wonderful an experience we had with Dina's. We had them cater a wedding (80 people) and a rehearsal dinner (30 people), we were planning it from the East Coast, and there were a lot of complexities involved with the venues -- neither of which was experienced in hosting kosher events -- as well as with wines, beers, desserts, changing numbers, and many other issues. Arie was our caterer from heaven. He was extremely patient, understanding, thorough, and helpful, and went out of his way to anticipate and forestall difficulties, negotiate with the various parties involved, and suggest solutions. His responsiveness and communication, via email and phone, were extraordinary. Everyone at Dina's was dedicated to doing whatever was necessary to make the events a success. Truly a pleasure to deal with. Oh, and the food was terrific. Even our family of non-observant foodies was impressed. And the prices were entirely reasonable. read more

In contrary to all comments here, Dina's Kosher did a pretty good job in the past but lately being careless and very unprofessional. They have delivered raw chicken to our board meetings and changed food order without our knowledge, and on top of that, instead of apologizing, demanded payment for the food we did not order. I have given them a second chance but blew it again. The first instance was so unethical. They delivered food and parked right outside our building illegally. While delivering, they got a parking ticket. They were asking for the Federation to reimburse them for the Parking ticket, wow, how could you? read more

For my wedding weekend, we worked with Dina's catering to have kosher food for Friday night dinner for ~25 people and Shabbat lunch for 40 people. Not only was everything delicious, but it was also so artfully presented. We also had to accommodate a lot of gluten free folks and this was no problem for them. I especially loved the cabbage salad and the brownies (which were also gluten free). read more

We had the best best best food all weekend for our event. Dina, Joe and Arie provided excellent, top-of-the-line service and food. They answered all of our questions, made sure we had plenty of everything and all utensils needed to make sure we could serve without any issues. Participants exclaimed it was the best food they've ever had! So happy we got to work with them. They are friendly, caring and thoughtful. Thank you thank you! Best kosher caterer by far in the SF bay area. Dina' service is impeccable and she accommodated all kinds of food allergies and created a memorable special lunch for a 70th birthday celebration. I was very satisfied with Dina's and with our point person, Arie. We used them to cater a Board meeting held in SF and I was able to successfully and accurately communicate all of our needs for the meeting from our HQ office in Boston. Arie was responsive, attentive, and made several points of contact ahead of the meeting to verify details and make sure things were delivered on time. I also really appreciated that Arie called me the Monday after our meeting just to check in and make sure things went as planned. We also got feedback from a handful of people that the food was of better taste and quality than others we have used in the past. Overall, happy with the quality of food and service and we are already planning to work with them again for another event in SF! read more
