MANGO WHITE GRAPE BARREL AGED BALSAMIC VINEGAR Just drink it straight out the bottle.

I will drink this Whole Bottle, I swear. I stopped at the farmers market at Miller Library a few weeks ago and fell in love with the MANGO WHITE GRAPE BARREL AGED BALSAMIC VINEGAR. It was amazing with the piece of bread but it is out of this world with my spinach salad, tuna salad, corn flake fried chicken, taco, English muffin with egg and whatever else in my kitchen. The Vanilla Fig Balsamic Vinegar is great too.

The Greek cold cut...mortadella, smoke turkey, red onion, green pepper and tomato w/ lagana bread

A Greek Deli new to Mt. Vernon that sells fresh oils, vinegars, tapenades, awesome sandwiches anddddd a fresh olive bar?! Who knew? I came here for lunch with a couple coworkers. Upon walking in you're drawn in by the yummy smells. I ordered their smoked turkey(which they smoke themselves) with Parmesan, arugula, onions and tomatoes on Lagana feta cheese bread(think focaccia). Sounds yum right? It was. While waiting they had a small tasting area, to sample some of their made in house wares. I had the white peach grape vinegar. It was light with the perfect amount of tang. I also had the roasted hot chili pepper olive oil. Hmmmm. So good I pour some on my panini pressed sando. To round out my sandwich, I received a fresh kosher pickle. You actually get a side with your sandwich. Total price 8.48. Totally worth it. I'll be back for olive bar. :)

Killer sandwich! The Greek cold cut; I could barely eat have of this massive sandwich! Comes with either pickles or olives yummm

It's always good service, but this was out of this world. Tony was engaging, kind, personable, funny and just acted like this was the most joyful experience of his life - to serve people at this small family restaurant in a strip mall in Timonium, Maryland at 11:30 AM on a Thursday. Well done, young sir! I ordered my favorite dish - Gnocchi Sorrentina. OMG it is DELICIOUS. I really just cannot rave about this place enough. We met friends for dinner on a Saturday evening. First, we like BYOB with no corkage fee. They were very busy, so we were glad that we came a little early so that we only had to wait a few minutes to secure a booth. My husband and I split a Prosciutto & Mozzarella Classic 10 inch N.Y. Sub, which was loaded with thinly sliced Italian prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil, mayo spread, and a drizzle of balsamic with a side order of French fries. This is truly a sub full of flavor. Our friend started off with an Arancino. If you are wondering what an Arancino is, it is an iconic Sicilian rice ball, typically stuffed, breaded, and deep-fried to a golden crisp that has been around since the 10th century. Here at Tony's, they are a flash fried rice ball, stuffed with ground beef, peas and mozzarella with tomato sauce on the side. He also had a Stromboli (a pizza dough stuffed and rolled with pepperoni, sausage, ham, fried onions, green peppers, pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese.) His wife enjoyed the Eggplant Parmesan (three pan-fried Italian eggplant pieces covered with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, baked to perfection, served with spaghetti.) Both dishes were generous in size. We all thoroughly enjoyed being transported to Italy this evening.

Baltimore region was expected to get hit with a massive…read morewinter weather event (let's just call it snowstorm) over the weekend so I decided I would hop into Mom's on a Thursday at noon to grab some essentials, such as my favorite Guatemalan coffee and fresh fruit. Wellllll, apparently hundreds of others had the same idea. The store was filled to capacity with shoppers, had no carts or baskets to use and was quickly becoming stressful. I was forced to place my items in my shopping bags I had brought with the expectation of unloading them at checkout then reloading them after purchase. I was making my way around the store when I was told the line to check out actually began at the entrance to the store, the produce department. At first, I cursed, then I joined that line while my shopping partner finished getting what we needed. Fifteen minutes in line I found I had made it to the dairy case along the perimeter. Still in line, shopping bags full and heavy. A manager then appeared to tell everyone their systems were down. WUT? They could only take cash at this point, if you were lucky enough to make it to the check out. Stunned, confused, sadly remembering I have not carried cash since 2019, I had racing thoughts. Should I stay, should I go? I had already invested 20 minutes into this marathon trip. My partner, with clear eyes and a full heart, suggested she drive my car to the nearby bank across York Road to get cash. I would stay in line and await her return, letting others go in front of me until she was back with cash in hand. Some abandoned carts, some parked their baskets by the ice cream case while they ran to the ATM a few stores down. Are you expecting me to say chaos ensued? Mayhem, perhaps? Irritable patrons just trying to get their eggs and milk before a massive snowstorm traps them in their homes for several days? One would expect as much, but I am here to say this was the most chill and positive crowd of people I have encountered in awhile. As we all slowly moved up in the line stretching the entire perimeter of this market, we all smiled and made small talk, moved carts and baskets along for those who had left to get cash. Finally, I was third in line to the checkout when the manager announced, "Systems back up! Systems back up!" There were cheers and high fives. Each line was open with two employees assisting each check out station, the manager was fully engaged, employees were remaining calm and professional. Marty was my cashier. He rocked. Apologized for the inconvenience, all while smiling and remaining poised and calm. As another employee bagged my items, I see my partner returning just in time with cash in hand. Good timing yet not needed now. We laughed. EXCELLENT MANAGEMENT DURING WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY CHAOTIC MESS.

Based on the…read morereviews I read, I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it really missed the mark. The ambiance is beautiful and the restaurant is clean, but the experience went downhill quickly. It started with the service: the waitress backing up our table literally pulled the menus out of our hands so fast we couldn't even tell which pasta came with our dishes. We had to stop her to ask, and because we were rushed, we ended up with angel hair instead of the penne we wanted. For appetizers, the dip was delicious, but the Dynamite Shrimp felt like a cheap knockoff of a well-known chain's version. For dinner, I had the Veal Parmigiana. The veal itself was cooked well and had great flavor, but the sauce was... weird. I couldn't put my finger on what was different about it, but it wasn't my favorite. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, which was a total disaster--dry, flavorless, and inedible. I actually ended up giving her some of my veal just so she had something decent to eat. The ending was the most off-putting part. After we sent the chicken back, the waiter told us the manager wanted to "offer us dessert" for the trouble. We chose two to-go (heading to Magooby's Joke House), but when the bill came, the desserts were charged! When I asked why, the waiter said, "My manager said to remove the chicken parm cost, he didn't say to remove the dessert." Why "offer" something if you expect payment? It felt deceptive. He eventually removed the charge but didn't say a word when he dropped the receipt, and the manager never came over. Between the rushing, the weird sauce, and the awkward service, we won't be back.

We ordered two 16" pizzas--the Parmigiana Chicken and the Napoli--plus 14 wings. The wings were laughably small and wildly overpriced, but that doesn't even scratch the surface of how bad this experience was. I was excited to try this place. The reviews were glowing, the photos looked incredible, and we chose Bruno's specifically to celebrate New Year's Eve with my partner. What a mistake. Both pizzas were completely ruined. Burnt, tough, dry, and utterly flavorless. They looked nothing like the pictures in the reviews--almost no sauce, overcooked to the point of being inedible, and closer to stale cheesy cardboard than pizza. If this is "authentic," then authenticity has a serious problem. For a moment, we genuinely wondered if we had been given someone else's order or sent food from the wrong restaurant. But no--this was Bruno's. The same Bruno's people are apparently losing their minds over. What's most insulting is that someone saw these pizzas, knew they were overcooked, and sent them out anyway. Charging full price for food this bad feels deceptive at best. When you compare what we received to the photos other reviewers have posted, it honestly feels like a bait-and-switch. Never again. I'll happily drive to Pasta Mista in Towson from now on--the only place around here that seems to understand what pizza is actually supposed to be.
