I stopped in when they opened for the day . I had a nice Pepperoni Stromboli . It had lots of Mozzarella Cheese and came with a mild Marinara . Moderate prices and good service .

We've been here a few times, and the food is always delicious. I'm gluten free, and their GF pasta and pizza are some of the best I've had. You can tell they make everything in house with fresh ingredients. My daughter ordered the Pappardelle bolognese, the pasta was made in Italy. She was it was fantastic. We've had great service as well. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portions

Met up with some friends last night for dinner. This was also my first visit to Il Basilico. I've received mailers from them over the years and was intrigued but not enough to make a visit. When arriving, I noticed the house isn't fancy, which is good from a value standpoint. It's very homey at Il Basilico. The menu contains a broad range of favorites from appetizers to pizza and beyond. My own order consisted of a small (but ample) Caesar salad which was very good. My entree was their chicken parmigiana with penne pasta covered in marinara. I believe the chicken was thinned out and breaded. The chicken and pasta were quite good. You know those mailers I mentioned? I was especially impressed with their pizza offerings. Their website tells the story of their founder who basically perfected pizza. Throughout my visit I had a sense they were slinging more pies than entrees as dozens made their way through the front door and being Monday customers bypassed at least two pizzerias selling half price pies on Mondays. Our server (seven of us, total, separate checks) was on top of her game. Prices very fair and although I finish my meal, all others in my party took home some leftovers. Pizza is next...

I ordered the Al Friutti Di Mare in white wine sauce and received what you see in the photos. Was disgusting and I threw in the freezer to be put in the trash next week. Avoid this place if you can.

Came across this amazing restaurant while driving and I can't say how happy I am. The staff here is super friendly and very attentive. I ordered the pappardelle pasta with tomato sauce, it tasted fresh the tomato sauce was home made with the best flavors. If I had enough space I would order dessert however I wil be back and I recommend this place to everyone that lives near or is simply driving by. Come and check them out, you won't regret it!!!

Lobster ravioli on far end; BBQ thin crust pizza, fettuccini al ragu in front. Delicious!

We were looking for a place that served good hearty Italian food at reasonable prices. We were quite satisfied with Il Basilico. It's casual dining but not fast food. We had the lobster ravioli, which had plenty of lobster chunks, and the fettucini al ragu. We also got the BBQ pizza which was good, except it did not seem to be thin crust as advertised. I liked that this place was BYOB though I would have appreciated the waiter telling us upfront that there was a $2 per person wine charge, not because we wouldn't have eaten here but so that we didn't get surprised as we did when the bill came. The portion size was decent but I couldn't resist trying their tiramisu, which was very tasty. They do carryout as well- plenty of cars kept pulling up for curbside pickup. The staff kept hurrying food orders outside so they did seem to be hard workers. Overall, we had a good experience here but little things keep me from giving it a 5/5.

    Homemade s'mores dessert!

we had an excellent meal at an excellent price! The meatball sub and stuffed shells - hit the spot! the bread with seasoned oil for dipping was delicious. but the very best was dessert- a homemade s'mores dessert- sooooo good! Our servers were on point - Summer was prompt and accurate and attentive. Shanina who also helped serve our table was unobtrusive and friendly. we even had a visit with the manger , Arden , who was making sure all of the customers in the dining room and the carry out orders were correct and enjoyable. we will definitely be back!

MAKE A RESERVATION, ot you could have a long wait to be seated. I often start with the Maryland Crab Soup. The broth is good, but the star of the soup is the abundance of Jumbo Lump Crab Meat. We've all been to restaurants that are very light on Crab in the soup. Vito's does not skimp! Now admittedly we usually head right for Pasta in our main courses, so I can't speak for the meat entrees. But the pasta is perfect, the sauces are delicious, and the portions are generous.

The reasons for the reduced rating are the things I was disappointed with. We got the garlic shrimp appetizer to split, and it came with 3 shrimp and tons of sauce. It was good and tasty, but it was chintzy, and there's no two ways around it. When I ordered my veal marsala, I asked if it came with a side of pasta, and my server was honest that it did, until they changed it two weeks earlier. Honestly, I felt that was super cheap to get rid of a side of pasta--pasta is so inexpensive--for a dish like veal marsala, where part of the dish is the pasta soaking up the delicious marsala sauce. So, honestly, for a fine-dining restaurant, that's a pretty cheap thing to do, and I'm not sure I could return. Again, your food is very tasty, and the service was excellent, but 3 shrimp and no pasta leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Based on the…read morereviews I read, I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it really missed the mark. The ambiance is beautiful and the restaurant is clean, but the experience went downhill quickly. It started with the service: the waitress backing up our table literally pulled the menus out of our hands so fast we couldn't even tell which pasta came with our dishes. We had to stop her to ask, and because we were rushed, we ended up with angel hair instead of the penne we wanted. For appetizers, the dip was delicious, but the Dynamite Shrimp felt like a cheap knockoff of a well-known chain's version. For dinner, I had the Veal Parmigiana. The veal itself was cooked well and had great flavor, but the sauce was... weird. I couldn't put my finger on what was different about it, but it wasn't my favorite. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, which was a total disaster--dry, flavorless, and inedible. I actually ended up giving her some of my veal just so she had something decent to eat. The ending was the most off-putting part. After we sent the chicken back, the waiter told us the manager wanted to "offer us dessert" for the trouble. We chose two to-go (heading to Magooby's Joke House), but when the bill came, the desserts were charged! When I asked why, the waiter said, "My manager said to remove the chicken parm cost, he didn't say to remove the dessert." Why "offer" something if you expect payment? It felt deceptive. He eventually removed the charge but didn't say a word when he dropped the receipt, and the manager never came over. Between the rushing, the weird sauce, and the awkward service, we won't be back.

We met friends for dinner on a Saturday evening. First, we like BYOB with no corkage fee. They were very busy, so we were glad that we came a little early so that we only had to wait a few minutes to secure a booth. My husband and I split a Prosciutto & Mozzarella Classic 10 inch N.Y. Sub, which was loaded with thinly sliced Italian prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil, mayo spread, and a drizzle of balsamic with a side order of French fries. This is truly a sub full of flavor. Our friend started off with an Arancino. If you are wondering what an Arancino is, it is an iconic Sicilian rice ball, typically stuffed, breaded, and deep-fried to a golden crisp that has been around since the 10th century. Here at Tony's, they are a flash fried rice ball, stuffed with ground beef, peas and mozzarella with tomato sauce on the side. He also had a Stromboli (a pizza dough stuffed and rolled with pepperoni, sausage, ham, fried onions, green peppers, pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese.) His wife enjoyed the Eggplant Parmesan (three pan-fried Italian eggplant pieces covered with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, baked to perfection, served with spaghetti.) Both dishes were generous in size. We all thoroughly enjoyed being transported to Italy this evening.
