OH MA GUUUUD,,, the coconut shrimp is booomb! so much flavor! the coconut flavor is yummmmy! I was so looking forward to this place. We ordered the dim sum pack, shumai stick and tempura sushi. Let start with the good: the pork bao was delicious. However, the filling was so scant. The bao alone though would make this place 5 stars! Now for the not so good: The shumai was soggy and pretty flavorless. The tempura sushi was so clever, and GIANT! I wasn't too impressed with the flavor, though. The poor woman was solo and very stressed. She kept apologizing to everyone. That was nice but unnecessary; this is Hawai'i and we aren't in a rush (most people were tourists and just excited for the food and we're locals just looking for an excuse to do nothing). read more

We hired Dim N Den Sum to cater our wedding and the food was phenomenal! We had several people tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. They made the best beef bulgolgi bao buns I have ever had. They also made amazing coconut fried shrimp, veggie spring rolls, Korean fried chicken sandwiches, pulled pork sliders and a poke bar. Every single dish was so delicious. On top of that it ended up pouring almost the entire day and they did an amazing job rolling with the punches due to the weather. SO GOOD. It was our last day in Kaua'i and we decided to stop at this little park with food trucks and we came across this one. It's located in the old Koloa town. The wait was VERY short, lots of tables open. I had never ate a soft shell crab before so I got the soft shell crab sandwich($12) SOO GOOD, even the fries was awesome. Yes, it's a food truck but the food is as good as any Asian street food or dim sum I've eaten - anywhere! I took takeout back to our hotel but there are also picnic tables in the adjacent park. We had the Dim Sum Pack (Steamed Pork Shumai, Mini Manapua, Coconut Shrimp & Furikake Edamame), Fried Musubi, Shu Mai Stick, Fried mini Manapua, and the Tempura Shrimp Bao. It was all fantastic! If I had to pick the most fantastic it would be the Tempura Shrimp Bao and the Fried Musubi. I could eat this every week and if I were there today I would place the same order again! Ate here twice this week! Fantastic food truck, killer eats! Menu changes daily, everything was hot, fresh and super flavorful. My kids loved everything, we grabbed it to go and hit the beach to eat. You will not be disappointed! Over the 2 days we got the mahi mahi sandwich, kimchi burger, egg rolls, dim sum stack, shrimp tempura bowl, Teri-chicken plate and fish and fries as well as shrimp baos and manapua buns. Located very close to our stay in Poipu! We enjoyed the the deep fried musubis. Very crispy and a local favorite. We also ordered the mini manapuas and steamed "shumai" aka porkhash. Lol. The wasabi sauce on top complimented very well. read more

Omg... I know I start most of my reviews with this saying, but this is most "OMG" out of them all thus far..... this food truck in Kauai is just incredible!!! I got the fried Musubi and spam....my wife, not a fan of spam or musubi, loved this!!! It's only $5!!! The owners are incredibly nice, a couple making great food. They're also hockey fans! Hard to find on the island, I won't say what team they like because I don't want them to lose business because of the team selection. Hockey fans are hardcore... Fries and gravy was okay, fries were overdone and pretty crispy, but the Deluxe Burger for $5 was surprisingly good. I'd go back and get it again if there weren't so many other foods and places on our list of places to visit. read more

Unfortunately giving this place 3 stars because the poke bowl was really underwhelming and not nearly as good as other poke bowls we had in the area from Makai Sushi and Koloa Fish Market. The poke bowl didn't use ahi tuna either (not sure what kind of fish it was). The deep-fried sushi was actually really good, fried to perfection, and the portion size was very generous. The braised pork belly bao special was da bomb! For those that like this cut of pork you will have died and entered the porky gates! Local couple have poured a lot of love into their food truck, friendly and showing lots of Aloha they cater to everyone with kindness. The chef shared a little of the prep work necessary for this creation starting with a Saki marinate for 5 hours! You get two portions per order, lots of pork belly topped off with cilantro pickled cucumbers and a little hoisin sauce just for da flavor. First food truck I've eaten from since moving to Koloa, Kauai. I had the tofu poke bowl. Omg so delicious! The tofu was topped with some taste sweet and creamy sauces that I added some extra sriracha to, on top of seaweed salad and perfectly seasoned sushi rice. I scarfed it with chopsticks in like 10 minutes! I feel like it will be my new addiction. Next time I will take a picture before wolfing it down. Yum! read more

Had a small bite of my husbands soft shell crab sandwich (kinda afraid to try), it was pretty good, mild and with a delicate briny taste of the ocean. Nothing too gross. I enjoyed my dim sum, chicken spring rolls and charsui manapua. Very tasty but i must admit im still hungry. I think my husbands sandwich and seasoned fries would have satisfied my tummy more so. Went to this food truck for lunch expecting more dim sum choices, but they only had shu-mai, which were actually more like wontons. However, the other choices I tried - coconut shrimp, ahi poke bowl, fried ahi sushi roll were all super delicious. Everything tasted like it was cooked to order. The lunch plates range in price from $12-15, so it's more like $$. If you really want dim sum, you'll be disappointed. But if you want some delicious fried stuff, this place will hit the spot. read more

What a great place. Food is fresh and prepared quickly although who's in a hurry here? Salads are large and tasty. Add the tofu or the egg rolls and you've got it rocking. The animal are very tasty and piping hot as they reside on their skewers. We were disappointed and left feeling satisfied. There are a lot of other choices so we'll have to go back soon. read more

There are a series of food trucks here so if you have people that never agree on food choices you have options of D*Greens bbq, Kauai food Truck or Naruto Noodles as well. My friend combo plate with fish shrimp and calamari and ahe loved it as well. From afar it looks like there is seating only in the sun but there is tons behind the Big chimney in the shade.
