Great apartment, highly recommend…read more It's about a 30min drive to major Chicago neighborhoods and 20min to North Chicago, making a good spot for commuting. Target is about 5-8min away. Other big grocery stores are ~30 min away. Management was always very responsive to concerns -- we often got concerns addressed the same day. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious. Everyone gets 2 parking spots and there's also separate visitor parking (for free). The package receiving room is big and well organized - often boxes would be on the floor because of overflow but it's all in a locked building. Decent gym as well. One concern is that the water quality is really bad. If we came back after the weekend the water would be yellow, and you could feel the poor quality in your hair. Maintenance flushed out the shower a few times but it didn't solve the issue. We also wish there was an in-unit washer/dryer but there are plenty of W/D throughout the floor ($5 per W/D cycle). The walls are quite thin as well throughout the building. It often felt like people outside were in your room. Also between our two rooms, you could hear what people were saying in the other room clearly (feel like there was some insulation issue between the window/wall). Overall though it was a decent, affordable apartment with good amenities and good service.

Gary and the guys showed up on time every day, never leaving our project to go to another job, and were professional, hard-working, knowledgeable and extremely talented. We love our new bathroom, and we are thrilled with the quality of their work. You can definitely tell the attention they pay to each and every detail throughout the entire project. They were also incredibly conscientious about making sure the rest of our house stayed cleaned, and made sure drop cloths were put down each day, and even taped off the bathroom completely so no dust would get in to our bedroom and cleaned everything up each and every day of the project. The estimate was detailed and very reasonable. They explained each step of the process to us, and helped with any questions we had. They even finished up a little ahead of schedule, and were able to complete a few other projects in our home, including added recessed lighting to our living room, and were able to come back a few weeks later to paint a few of our bedrooms and baseboards! Again, we are so happy with the work Cody Co did in our home, and will most definitely use them again, and are recommending them to everyone we know.

Avoid Custom Installations and take your roofing business elsewhere…read more My roof continued leaking after their work was completed. When I tried to understand why a portion of the roof had not been replaced, I was given conflicting explanations and repeatedly told there was documentation supporting their position. Despite numerous requests, I never received a signed contract or work order that resolved the issue. Instead of addressing the problem, the company relied on internal notes and disputed conversations while multiple people involved in the original transaction contradicted their version of events. I spent weeks trying to get straightforward answers and ultimately had to pay out of pocket to complete repairs that should never have been necessary. The lack of transparency, accountability, and customer service was astonishing. Based on my experience, I would never use Custom Installations again and strongly encourage homeowners to find a roofing company that stands behind its work and provides clear, signed documentation from the start.Additionally, when they quoted me to fix the portion of the roof they had skipped, they came in more than double the price of my other two estimates.

She was excellent with customer service and provided solutions to problems we had with our deck. No other contractor has done that before. Anya provided a detailed written estimate which defined the scope of work and price so I had peace of mind. They are also more than painters. They did some light carpentry work such as fixing cracks, replacing damaged wood and a hand rail. I interviewed several deck builders who wanted to replace the entire deck and painters who only wanted to paint the deck and not able to do any repairs. The majority of contractors I interviewed didn't even follow up after looking at my project. It was as if they weren't interested. I highly recommend C.A.M. Painting.
