Even more frustrating was that the officer who stopped to "help" him and the tow truck driver acted like they were doing my son a favor by calling and providing a tow truck for him instead of allowing him to call one himself. He wasn't in a wreck, truck just wouldn't start. He asked what it cost and was told "if you have insurance then you don't have to worry about it". Then, after presenting it as "help," they hit him with contracted rotation pricing, charging over $300 just to hook up his pickup and move it into the parking lot next door. I understand rotation pricing in an emergency or urgent situation, but this was completely taking advantage of a young kid.
