The place itself is pretty neat with a suit of armor greeting you at the beginning and small tables with brown table cloths and cloth napkins that look for more intimate style dining. The walls are also lined with wine bottles and other Medieval style decor. I go the CUBAN Sandwich and it was pretty solid. Panini style with the pulled pork and ham and cheese but it was weirdly off. I can't tell if the meat was just too dry or if the flavors of all the different items just didn't mesh well but it wasn't the best sandwich I've had. The fries that came with it were just okay. Nothing to write home about. I will try to come back on a date at some point and try to get an overarching experience but until then, 4 stars.

They apologized because I apparently visited while they were awaiting restocking, but the wine selection was so limited I had cocktails and beer instead. Those were good. The menu was also on the small side, although my grilled cheese was tasty. Service was great, friendly, strong on water refills and check-ins, so four stars for everything else. Nice bright patio and dark cozy interior give two very different ambiances depending on what you prefer! Good environment for a date night or getting together with a small group of friends.

Everything is set for a serene and enjoyable experience. The staff were very friendly and personable, and very eager to make your time memorable. We started out by wandering around the facility. They have all kinds of little small rooms that open up into the big area. Each place has a different interesting decor and a different seating arrangement, Some just couches and chairs. Other areas are small tables and then some have larger tables. All are around the perimeter of the larger center area. On our tour around, we came upon a small gift shop with all kinds of cute local wares that you can buy. And in the corner is the bar. It has a tasting station and they allowed us to taste several different wines to determine which one we wanted. We ordered a glass and continued browsing around the area. Once we found where we wanted to sit, they brought us menus, and we chose two different sandwiches, one is the turkey avocado, and the other was vegetable ciabatta both with side salad, rather than potato chips. We also got a starter of a Caprese salad. Other than our meals coming out at different times, which was awkward, the food was very very good. We enjoyed our meal and our wine and we both bought a bottle to go! Around the area, they have card games, board games, and other things that you could amuse yourself with. There was an area with a variety of cigars. But no one was manning it at the time. It appeared that they may have music outside, and there are some tables outdoors where I can imagine on an evening could be a great place to sit. Adjacent to the The Tiki Room, Pearl Divers features a rotating list of oysters from different regions at $3 a pop. We had the chance to try all three oysters that they were featuring for the day and we really enjoyed the palette. The oysters featured might've been limited but they had a major punch to them with flavor. My favorite were the ones that were a bit more briny, truly small but mighty. Your oysters are brought out with the traditional crackers, hot sauce, mignonette sauce, horseradish, and lemons. It was nice for them to all folks the chance to order in any quantity as I'm sure a few folks might be trying oysters for the very first time in a landlocked city. The had a finessed menu featuring carpaccio, tartare, and about ten to fifteen dishes encompassing appetizers to main entrees. We had ordered the carpaccio but it never came out (no biggie, again it was soft opening so we came in with an open mind). Since we got there a bit later in the day, they were out of frites and I am a loyal fan of oysters, frites, and bubbles (wine at the minimum). This just means we'll have to be back. What was most important to me though was the service and how friendly the staff was. We opted to sit at the bar (as one should at an Oyster bar) and be as close to the oyster display as possible. I used to live in New Orleans for a few years so sometimes when it's busier and you're chatting away they'll shuck an extra one to you every so often to try. I'm pretty stoked to see the dining scene continuously elevating and Pearl Divers is a nice rendition. I'll be certain to come back and can't wait to see what a five-star experience is out of their soft opening phase. *** If there is one piece of feedback I'd provide is to have smaller spoons for the mignonette and forks for the oysters. The current sizes are a bit too large and can easily ruin the integrity of the oyster when making sure it's been properly separated and not intact, as well as, not being able to have the right ratio of mignonette sauce for each oyster. The spoon was constantly hitting the mouth of the condiment cup.
