I received my dress 5 weeks late from their contractual delivery date with no explanation, proactive communication, or apology. I was assured that I would not need to rush order the dress. The dress fit me beautifully in the store, but I was encouraged to order closer to my listed size according to the designer chart, so I wasn't worried about it being late until I tried it on and it was 2-3 sizes too large. The tailoring appointments they offered were for dates before my dress even arrived. Being out of state, I had to bring my dress to another tailor that a friend recommended, who explained the dress would have to be recut and entirely reconstructed because it was so large. My measurements had not changed from the time I tried on the dress on at TWR 7 months earlier. The tailoring estimate was nearly 40% of the purchase price of the dress, so I reached out to TWR to express my frustration. They offered only $150 for a "rush fee" because it was late. They refused to acknowledge any accountability until I told them I lodged official complaints. When I finally spoke to Carmen, she accused me of sending fake pictures, my tailor of being dishonest, implied that I should be grateful because "some girls don't even get their dresses," and told me that I hurt her feelings telling her I didn't trust TWR to do any further business with or to stick to a contract when she offered to do the alterations in a few hours (the alterations took 3 days at my tailor). Their contract did not seem to come with any sort of integrity on their end. Your wedding gown is an investment and brides are under such tight timelines that you expect a luxury boutique to respect. Although many brides have had great experiences here, I can only speak for mine, and I would not trust or recommend TWR to do business with.

It was lovely that they offered water and champagne to us. My daughter changed in a nearby room then had to walk to the 'stage' where we could see the dress. The lighting and mirrors were all nice. A similar style dress was a few hundred dollars more expensive here than in another shop we visited. Taylor did a nice job. She didn't ask as many questions as the other shop we went to but the dresses she pulled were right on. Parking in this area can be challenging but the nearby ramp provided ample parking. The shop was very cute and cozy. There were at least 3-5 groups in there so it was quite loud and busy. While we didn't get our dress from here, we had a very good experience. This shop was highly recommended by my daughter's friends.

I didn't feel pressured to make a decision then about the dress but I left feeling like I had found the one. Now I did continue dress shopping as I'm pretty early on my journey but know that when it comes to making a decision at the end it will come down to one of the dresses in this store ( not the one pictured here) Honestly trying on dresses can be uncomfortable for people that don't have the type of body dresses are designed for so I'm keeping that in mind. I'm petite, midsize, and on the curvier side so I already knew when I tried on dresses they wouldn't fit me completely or some wouldn't go passed my hips which was fine but I was still made super comfortable! To get park here you are definitely going to want to use the parking garage near by or try to find street parking but that can be a bit difficult. We ended up waiting at least ~30 minutes to start my appointment, which was okay since we had time to look at the dress and pull what we liked, but at the same time, the whole appointment ran an hour longer than we were anticipating. It was certainly kind to let us stay that long though as the last appointment of the day! Simply put: lovely shop, great selection, kind employees, have extra time on your hands just in case, you'll have a blast!

I liked that she pulled a couple that were the right vibe but a different style so we would know what we liked and didn't like. I also liked that Kelly chose dresses that were in the price range we desired. She also talked to us the entire time so she got to know more about the wedding and we learned more about her experience. She even helped my daughter put on her wedding shoes while she had the dress on so she could see if she liked the shoes and dress together. We liked that there were only two groups in the place and we had one side to ourselves. We also liked that my daughter got dressed in the spot in front of us and the curtain revealed the design. She didn't have to try and stutter step to the platform so we could see. There were some reserved parking spots in front of the store but also a close ramp for any additional spots needed. The dress we liked was on sale which essentially paid for the tip, tax, and put a few bucks back in our pocket. We had a great experience here and ended up buying the dress from Ivory Bridal.

My daughter wanted to be the third generation to wear the ivory satin wedding dress that her…read moregrandmother and mother said their "yes" in. So Evermore seemed the perfect choice because they specialized in vintage gowns, and I did not want it to be dry cleaned. The dress was in good condition but yellowed, (see before photos) and the store manager assured us that Evermore would be able to restore it to its original color. Sadly, Evermore was not able to do this and damaged the vintage fabric in the process. This was partly due to the work not being started in the timeframe promised (almost two weeks later than agreed upon) which resulted in rushed service and the gown being pressed while still wet with cleaning fluid. The once ivory dress now looked bleached white with ivory splotches and was dull instead of having a satin sheen. (See photo) The manager recommended the dress be processed a second time and then asked for another week after that. Without my permission, the dress was sent out and dry cleaned! The general manager said he thought the dress had grease stains and that he did not know the history of the dress. He could have known had he asked. The dress had been fully examined before any treatment, and there were no grease stains on the dress. The dress came back still splotchy and had been pressed on the right side of the fabric causing heat damage. (See photo) The store manager shook her head and said, "The best I can do is 50% off. I requested the full amount and was given that. Aside from not being able to restore the dress to its original color, the gown was irreparably damaged because of the way it was pressed. I expected that a company that specializes in vintage gowns would train their staff to not press a wet garment and press on the underside of the fabric. I know there are no guarantees in life and mistakes happen. What matters to me as a customer is the response when there is a mistake. I spoke with both the store manager and general manager, and neither would acknowledge that the gown was treated poorly. The general manager said, "What do you expect me to do? Clean the dress again? I have lost so much time and money already." I absolutely did not want the dress done as Evermore had not demonstrated its staff were capable of caring for an heirloom dress. I felt I was treated in a disrespectful way and was shown no empathy for such disappointing results. When I first brought in the dress, I was asked for its value. I said, "priceless." I was encouraged to write that on the form. Now the gown is no longer lovely or the heirloom we hoped to pass onto the next generation. We have less than three months to find a dress. What was supposed to be a joyful part of planning a wedding has been so heart breaking.

During the alteration fitting, the staff expertly pinned my dress and made sure I was happy with their plan. While alterations always seem to be on the more expensive side, Evermore was in line (if not a little less expensive) than other places I've visited to have bridesmaids dresses altered. For the ease, price, and professional staff, I would definitely use Evermore again!
