The White Room and Carmen went above and beyond to help find/create the perfect outfit for my daughter's wedding. We had visited multiple locations and were even turned away from a couple of locations because my daughter had a particular vision that others said they had nothing which fit. The White Room valued her vision and helped her make the day magical. This place was amazing. read more

I had such a horrible experience with TWR. The dresses and space are beautiful. I had a great time until they dropped the ball. I received my dress 5 weeks late from their contractual delivery date with no explanation, proactive communication, or apology. I was assured that I would not need to rush order the dress. The dress fit me beautifully in the store, but I was encouraged to order closer to my listed size according to the designer chart, so I wasn't worried about it being late until I tried it on and it was 2-3 sizes too large. The tailoring appointments they offered were for dates before my dress even arrived. Being out of state, I had to bring my dress to another tailor that a friend recommended, who explained the dress would have to be recut and entirely reconstructed because it was so large. My measurements had not changed from the time I tried on the dress on at TWR 7 months earlier. The tailoring estimate was nearly 40% of the purchase price of the dress, so I reached out to TWR to express my frustration. They offered only $150 for a "rush fee" because it was late. They refused to acknowledge any accountability until I told them I lodged official complaints. When I finally spoke to Carmen, she accused me of sending fake pictures, my tailor of being dishonest, implied that I should be grateful because "some girls don't even get their dresses," and told me that I hurt her feelings telling her I didn't trust TWR to do any further business with or to stick to a contract when she offered to do the alterations in a few hours (the alterations took 3 days at my tailor). Their contract did not seem to come with any sort of integrity on their end. Your wedding gown is an investment and brides are under such tight timelines that you expect a luxury boutique to respect. Although many brides have had great experiences here, I can only speak for mine, and I would not trust or recommend TWR to do business with. read more

So this was the first bridal shop I went to in Minnesota and I'm so glad I was able to dip my toes into so many beautiful gowns. They seriously have such a great location and the layout is really spacious. I came here with a friend of mine and I tried on every type of silhouette. This is where I discovered Georgia Young dresses which I fell in love with. It was giving couture, modern bride, and beautiful texture. My bridal helper was amazing and she did a great job getting me into a lot of dresses. I definitely recommend coming here to search for a dress ! read more

A million stars for The White Room! They made my wedding dress experience the absolute best. I visited four different shops and none compared to this one. I worked with Jill who was so fun and helpful. She actually pulled the dress that ended up being the one! If you are looking for a more unique dress, this is the shop in the Twin Cities. They have a variety of styles and honestly, I think I found about 5 dresses that could have been the one haha. I didn't feel pressured at all which was top notch for a people pleaser like myself. I felt so comfortable and was given the time I needed to think about my decision. From try on to ordering, it was all such an easy process. Nikki was amazing with answering questions after I ordered the dress and when it arrived in the store. They all really go above and beyond! Oh and the space...I don't think you could ask for a prettier wedding dress space. I just want to go back and hang out there. If you're looking for a wedding dress, don't hesitate to book an appointment at The White Room! read more

Wedding dress shopping for my beautiful little sister - this was a day we had been looking forward to for so long and The White Room exceeded our expectations!!! Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely woman at the front desk who took our coats and offered us sparkling wine. I loved this sweet touch! We had a beautiful big room near the windows that had stunning natural light coming through. Nikki helped my sister pick out a few dresses, and with telling Nikki before the appointment what she wanted, Nikki already had one picked out for my sister that she thought would be perfect. All of the dresses in this shop are absolutely stunning. We had been to a couple other wedding shops before The White Room and nothing compared to TWR. The dresses here are unique, something you could never find at another dress shop. This shop picks out dresses directly from the designers and cares about the stories of the dresses and of the designers. Nikki was so knowledge about every dress, about the designer who made the dress, the fabrics and how the dress should fit. The original dress Nikki picked out for my sister is the one she bought! It was absolutely STUNNING and everything and more my sister wanted for her wedding in Greece! I will forever recommend this wedding shop to everyone I know that's getting married! THANK YOU for the wonderful experience! read more

My daughter went to a few other boutiques looking for a wedding dress. The White Room was her last stop and that's where she ended up with the perfect dress. Right from the start the staff were amazing. They were so welcoming throughout the entire process. Their dress selection included a lot of different styles and price points. Looking at a few of the price tags I wasn't sure if my daughter would find a dress here within her budget but of course she did. The dress she choose was unique and eloquent and fits her style perfectly. Once she ordered the dress it arrived in plenty of time before the wedding. We returned for a few alterations and knew we were in good hands when Sadie came in the room. She seemed like a pro and when my daughter went for the final fitting the alterations couldn't have been done any better. My favorite part here is the sparkling champagne. My daughter and I quickly learned that when they ask you if you'd like a glass just say, YES!! If you just got engaged don't overlook this lovely boutique for dress shopping. It won't disappoint! read more

The White Room is absolutely amazing. Jillian and the staff are incredible and the designers they carry are gorgeous and chic. They actually saved me after a horrible experience elsewhere that left me without a dress 2 weeks before my wedding (!). In full panic mode, I emailed the White Room to see if there was any way to get a dress from them in time for my wedding two weeks away. Jillian called me 5 minutes later to say she was so sorry this was happening and they will do what they can to help. I went into the store that day and was so incredibly happy to find a dress I loved. Then they rushed the alterations (around the Thanksgiving holiday) to make sure I had a dress for my wedding. They honestly saved the day, my mom and I were literally crying of happiness when we found the dress and they were able to alter it in time for the wedding. I truly don't know what I would have done were it not for Jillian and their team. After going through this experience, I would tell future brides to choose their bridal store carefully. I really wish I had understood the process more going into it. The problems that led to me being in that situation two weeks before my wedding were a result of another store not properly taking measurements and not doing alterations in house. They expected you to pick up the dress and never contact them again, but given the fact that the dresses never look right until you're near the end of alterations, if something goes wrong at the end you're left on your own. The White Room does their alterations in house and is with you every step of the way, making sure you are ready for your wedding. Clearly I can't recommend them enough. Eternally grateful to them! read more

I had the BEST experience working with Carmen at the White Room! This was my fourth bridal boutique visit and TWR made it a great experience from the moment we walked in. The staff was knowledgeable, the space was beautiful, and the selection of dresses was incredible. I said yes to a dress here and I cannot recommend TWR enough!! read more

This was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses. I was lucky enough to work with Carmen, who was amazing. She allowed me to choose some dresses on my own, and suggested some too. Ultimately, my dress was the 3rd I'd tried on. I wasn't sure in the moment, but I think Carmen knew. She had me put on a veil to give the full effect. I loved the dress but wanted to think on it. I went to a few different places, but ultimately came back to buy my dress, the 3rd I'd tried on. I can't say enough about this shop and Carmen! So much love! read more

I cannot say enough good things about The White Room! The showroom at TWR is beautiful with tons of great lighting and of course beautiful gowns. Jill was a dream to work with. This was the first place I went to start my journey finding the perfect wedding dress, and I feel so lucky to have started the whole experience here - it really set a high standard! TWR was so responsive to questions and flexible with us. Everyone involved seemed so genuinely interested in my wedding and helping me find the dress of my dreams, which I did! Valentina did an incredible job with the alterations, it felt as though the dress was truly made just for me. I would highly recommend TWR (and have been to everyone I know already)! read more

There are not WORDS to describe how AMAZING my experience was at The White Room! This place is classy and inviting, the customer service is impeccable, and the selection of dresses is extremely unique compared to other shops in the twin cities. My consultant was Jill and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She felt as if she was part of my bridal party helping me choose a dress - she even let our appointment go long because she just kept pulling dresses! I found the dress of my dreams here and I am so thankful for everyone at the shop that helped me find it! read more

I had an amazing experience at TWR! Pegeen was so helpful and made a bride feel amazing! Let's start by she was very helpful, honest, and made us feel at ease with trying to find the perfect dress! Her expertise, advice, and eye for finding the perfect fit was everything and more. When you're trying to find the right dress for your special day you need honest opinions and someone that knows different body types and fashion! I felt Pegeen knew what she was doing as a stylist. They have everything from modern contemporary dresses, high fashion, and traditional! It's a one of a kind place especially here in MN! I been looking for a boutique like this and this is literally the only one here in MN! I thought I was going to have to drive to Chicago! Thank you TWR for being everything I visioned and more. read more

As someone who has not always dreamed of their wedding, much less my wedding dress, I was incredibly nervous to start the dress-buying process. So much so that I waited until 2.5 months before my wedding to step foot into my first wedding store. Despite my excitement for marriage and the love I have for my partner, dress shopping in my mind was more overwhelming than anything else. I made two appointments, and The White Room was my first stop and my last. The minute I entered, Carmen warmly and graciously greeted me, made me feel immediately at ease and walked me through what the shopping process was going to be. I think she sensed that I was nervous, relatively low maintenance, non traditional, and not showy and catered to that perfectly. My mom, aunt, sister and I had the best time together at The White Room and I walked out of there with a dress that would be ready in time for my wedding! The White Room + Carmen is the perfect place + person for those who are looking for something beautiful and unique from an incredible curated collection of dresses, and a wonderful experience without pushiness or pressure. Carmen narrowed on my style and approach immediately and helped me to find the perfect dress that I didn't know I was looking for. I will tell anyone who asked that The White Room should be brides first stop (and most likely last stop) when looking for the perfect wedding dress. read more

I had the absolute BEST experience at The White Room. I had been to a couple other bridal shops in the area and honestly what brought me back was Carmen. Amazing service, beautiful dresses, private room, the perfect experience. Pegeen was our consultant and she was absolutely the best. Super knowledgeable, patient and helped me step out of my comfort zone to make sure I found the one. She made me comfortable the entire time and was a great presence to have to really help you picture yourself on your wedding day. The white room has a beautiful variety of classic, elegant, and fun dresses. While I didn't find the one here I would have been happy getting married in any of the amazing dresses they had. I would recommend making an apt at the white room ANY DAY, you will probably find the one. Thanks Pegeen!!! read more

I just bought my dress at The White Room over the weekend and had the best possible experience! They were so communicative with me beginning from my first intro call. I feel like that had a great understanding of my venue, my vibe, my likes and my dislikes. Jill was helping us and she was truly an angel!! She was so sweet and knowledgeable and was incredible to work with. It felt like she was really listening to me and what I liked and pulled several dresses that I didn't pull myself but ended up loving. Cant say enough good things about The White Room! read more

I can't say enough about the staff at The White Room!! They have gone out of their way to provide a special experience for my daughter from the moment we entered the boutique and were offered champagne to the day they walked the dress to the loading dock for our COVID-19 bride. Our guide for the shopping day, Peggine, was both helpful and knowledgeable while guiding my daughter during her dress selection. It was a fun day and we left with the perfect dress purchased! Our daughter is in the unfortunate club of COVID brides. While working to find a solution for the banned gatherings, I spoke to Nikki several times. She was kind and flexible while helping us deal with our changed plans. I would highly recommend the store for their exemplary service and dress selection!! read more

This place is so pretty, I went here to try on wedding gowns for my wedding next year, they treated us super well, we had our own room and water and really cute couches and the like. And they let us look around first before pulling gowns which I really liked. I would say the one thing is they don't have a huge selection of dresses there are maybe 100 in the whole store, but the lady who helped us was really nice read more

I will preface this by saying that I did not buy my dress here (though I found a strong contender.) However, had an incredible experience and would highly recommend them to anyone! They're a dream to work with and the gowns are stunning and unique to anywhere else I looked. The space is a really cool industrial loft and very intimate. They only schedule one appointment at a time, so all the focus is on you. There was no pressure to buy a dress and they were very gracious when I informed them I was going with a dress from another shop. read more

I worked with Carmen and had the most wonderful experience while shopping for wedding dresses at The White Room. They had a variety of dresses to try on and they were all in excellent condition. They had the best selection of all the bridal stores I went to in the Twin Cities. The dresses were all stunning. Carmen was professional and friendly, she moved at my pace and offered valuable suggestions. The store is beautiful and there is plenty of natural light. I would recommend The White Room to any bride looking to feel special while dress shopping. read more

Highly recommend the White Room. It is utterly impossible to meet Carmen and not have a wonderful experience at The White Room. First off The White Room has an incredible mix of designers that cover a wide range of styles. I found some of the other bridal shops lean into one style more than another, I.g. Boho or modern. Even though I thought I knew what I wanted I end up needing to try on different styles to really know. The White room was great at really listening to me but also pushing me a little to try things I wasn't initially sure on. Secondly, Carmen, the owner of The White Room is amazing! She is often out on the floor helping brides or there to check you in when you arrive. Her genuine bubbly and spunky personality makes you feel like she's a life long friend helping you out! Her and her teams level of service is superior and comforting. During my bridal appointment my sister snagged her veil (my something borrowed) on the zipper of the garment bag as she was taking it out for me to try on. Carmen took a quick look, told us not to worry and that she would mend it herself. Weddings can be wonderful but also stressful at times, The White Room will put you at ease during the entire dress process. You are sure to leave feeling beautiful, excited, and relieved to be in great hands. read more

Yesterday I said "yes" to the dress at The White Room! I had an amazing experience; in the age of COVID they found a way to deliver a safe and relaxed experience for brides-to-be. Honestly, it was the first time I started to feel excited about my wedding again since COVID hit. I am so grateful to TWR for helping me find my perfect dress and for making the experience one to remember. Wonderful store with beautiful selections and a lovely, airy space to try them on. Thank you!! read more

Carmen is a gem! I had a great experience looking for my dress. They have a beautiful selection of really unique dresses.

This place is truly top notch. Carmen is the sweetest and simply the best. I went to several different bridal salons in the Minneapolis area and this one takes the cake. No pressure salon and they truly care about you finding the perfect dress. I came all the way from Des Moines and could not have been happier about my purchase at TWR. Always accommodating and Roxanne was a rockstar at altering my dress. I recommend this amazing space and bridal shop to all the future brides! read more

The White Room is the BEST! It was my daughter's first time trying on dresses and we couldn't be happier with The White Room. Carmen took so much time with my daughter to help her find the right style for her. She really listened to what she did and didn't want in a dress and didn't bring in anything that she didn't want. We narrowed it down to two possible dresses and even though we don't live in MN, Carmen took her measurements in case we wanted to purchase one of the dresses. They are a very no pressure salon. read more

This past weekend we went to a few different bridal shops in the Twin Cities and afterwards my group unanimously agreed that The White Room was the best experience we had - hands down. We worked with Nikki who was not only attentive to my dress desires, she was very supportive and kept us laughing the entire time. I never once felt uncomfortable and awkward while trying on gowns and was constantly in love with dresses Nikki would pull for me. I 150% recommend this shop to anyone who is not only looking for gorgeous gowns but an exciting and comfortable experience as well. Thank you so much Nikki & Carmen! read more

Came here with my good friend to help find her a wedding dress. This was a fantastic experience! These ladies are top notch!

HANDS-DOWN BEST BRIDAL SHOP IN MPLS. So, I'm planning a very small wedding in Mexico this winter and had originally planned on purchasing an inexpensive gown under $1k online. After trying on several different dresses, I realized I wasn't going to find the quality and craftsmanship I was hoping for for such a special occasion. I began my search around a few of Mpls' bridal shops that had been recommended to me by girlfriends. My experiences at these shops were fine, but they didn't feel special and the services received often felt lacking and impersonal. It wasn't until I stopped into the White Room that i felt like I finally found the "right" boutique for the vibe I was going for. I was immediately greeted by Pegeen and the shop's owner, Carmen. My bridesmaids and I were welcomed with sparkling wine and easy conversation as we began our search. I never felt pressured to find the perfect dress that day, and Pegeen and Carmen were more than helpful in offering dress selections and styling suggestions to help my vision become a reality. I found so many lovely dresses that I didn't purchase anything on my first trip, I just couldn't. I waited a couple months before coming back to try on my favorite pieces again, and the girls were more than patient and just as welcoming as before- if not more so. I was able to land on the PERFECT dress for my vision, and truly look forward to going back to the shop for fittings, and to hang out with Carmen and Pegeen and to feel beautiful. Seriously, if you're looking for top quality service and want a unique dress that will make you look like a sartorial wedding beauty, GO HERE. *I didn't purchase any accessories (yet!), but their selection is very uniquely curated as well, not to mention gorgeous. read more

This place is the real deal! I cannot say enough about these amazing ladies, their beautiful shop and stunning dresses!! My experience was truly one of a kind. Not only did I find the dress of my dreams (seriously, the. dress. of. my. DREAMS.) but the whole process of looking for a dress to the final alterations was simply perfection. Their team went above and beyond to make my experience personal, relaxing and memorable. I'm sincerely going to miss my fitting appointments because Carmen, Anne and Roxanne were so great to be around! Roxanne is a true talent at alterations and I knew my dress was in amazing hands the whole time. My first advise to every bride I encounter is to check out this shop! I am an extremely low-maintenance bride who wasn't into the idea of shopping for or buying a traditional wedding dress. My niece and mom wanted the experience so I agreed to let them pull me around town from shop to shop. The White Room was our last stop and while my experiences throughout the day were fine I didn't have any specific expectations. It took us a bit to locate the loft within the building but once we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. Little things that made an impression on the first visit: 1. has a great small shop feel, signature fragrance burning (that is lovely), artistic display upon entry, open floor plan with a ton of natural light, small selection of dresses that is impeccably curated. 2. Warm greeting from Carmen, I instantly felt like I had made a friend. 3. Great customer service. My mom and niece pulled some dresses for me and Carmen asked if she could as well -- I agreed. She gave me space to get dressed and was available to help but wasn't pushy at all. 4. The dress. I ended up trying on 3-5 dresses there I think and the one I ended up buying was the one she pulled for me. She narrowed in on my style immediately and found the perfect one at a great price point. I returned four more times, one to try the dress on and make the final decision to purchase it and two more for fittings and one quick final visit to pick it up. Each time was a breeze scheduling the appointment, getting in and out of the building and parking and paying via mobile device. They even gave me a sweet gift on my way out. I am very happy with all aspects of my experience at TWR and would recommend it to anyone! read more

I started my wedding dress shopping in South Dakota where I live. After having an appointment at all 5 bridal shops in Sioux Falls and not one dress speaking to me, I decided I needed to start searching elsewhere. So I decided to take my Mom and two of my best Maids to Minneapolis for a fun weekend and start searching. We had a weekend full of wedding dress appointments - 7 to be exact. 2 on Friday, 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. All of the bridal salons I visited were pleasant, all of them were beautiful shops with gorgeous dresses, I felt comfortable at every shop and all of the consultants I worked with were eager to help and were super friendly. Now, with that being said, The White Room was on a whole different level. It was my 6th appointment - first one on Sunday morning and 1 left after that then we were headed back to South Dakota. I walked in and I was greeted with wide open arms and the biggest, warmest hug from Carmen, the shop owner. I instantly felt a connection with Carmen and with the shop and I definitely felt special. The selection of dresses here is small, however, each dress is absolutely stunning, unique and every single dress demanded attention from the moment you just glanced at it hanging on the rack. I tried on about 4-5 dresses I think and then the last dress I tried on was THE ONE. I had an unforgettable moment with my Mother and 2 Maids, we cried, we hugged and we cried some more. Carmen popped open a bottle of champagne and poured 4 glasses for us. It was so magical. I'll never forget it. I would highly recommend this bridal shop, I can't wait to come back for my first fitting. Carmen is truly one of a kind and her shop is too. read more

AMAZING, One of a Kind Dresses and Wonderful Team!!! I don't even know where to begin on my overall experience I had when I worked with the Carmen and her team at The White Room. I not unlike most brides was looking for the "experience" when shopping for my dress. As the day went on, I became discouraged. I wasn't feeling special, I didn't have that dress that made me cry and at one point it became so overwhelming, I wanted to stop. TWR was our last stop of the day. The boutique is intimate and unique with a very cool vibe. We were greeted at the door by Carmen, a sweet, funny and energetic soul (who I later found out was the owner). She got my guests and I situated and brought us sparking wine. She was so helpful on how to begin looking for a dress, understanding what I was looking for and then allowing me to look through the beautiful and one of a kind dresses. I had never seen such gorgeous dresses, except in the bridal couture magazines. I found my dream dress that I have always imagined. There are so many stresses in planning a wedding. This is the ONE recommendation I would have for the bride-to-be. TWR will handle the fittings in house and answer any questions on alterations. read more
