I agree with the other reviews regarding Dillards Atlantic Stations shoe department customer service. One of the sales associates gave me eye contact, and continued walking. I walked the area for awhile, and he never approached me offering assistance. Thank God for the young man at the register, with such a great personality and professional demeanor. I wish I could remember his name, "light brown", nicely dressed, and a nice smile. On my way there today, and I hope he's working. By no means is this rating connected to the other departments I frequent at Dillards. Hand bags and accessories are amazing! Brahmin sales are great! It's the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend and all but one employee in the Women's Shoe Department of this Atlantic Station Dillard's called in sick today. I feel so bad for the one guy working. He's so overwhelmed. Unfortunately I will never go here again. Two years ago I stopped to buy a dress shirt. The sales person said customers aren't allowed to open the packaged shirts to try on. I wrote a letter and received a note back apologized. Six months ago I stopped by to purchase another dress shirt but didn't have time to try it on. It was Ralph Lauren with an "Estate Collection" tag. I didn't have time to try it on so I asked the sales lady if that meant it was a normal cut. She ensured me it was...it wasn't. Tried to take it back but since it was on clearance it was fine sale. No other dept store of this size has this ridiculous return policy. I wrote a letter to corporate but heard nothing back. You lost me and my spouse. Crappy store, lousy sales team, terrible policies. read more

This is probably the worst Dillards I have ever been to. Every time I come to this location it's fairly empty which is strange for any large Department Store to be located in a place like Atlantic Station. If there are few folks shopping it means I should be in and out everytime which is never the case. My first stop is always in the jewelry department and there is usually no one behind the counter so I have to go to the watch counter for some help with the jewelry and even then it's usually a 10 to 15 minute wait behind 1 or 2 other people . I always have a great experience at the Mac counter so no complaints about that. Once I walk upstairs to the clothing department there are a few associates floating around and on a good day one or two might ask if you need help that's if you are lucky. Depending on which department you are shopping in you usually have to search for an open register in another area. The associates who are willing to help are typically friendly and often seem overwhelmed not sure due to under staffing or a lack of dedicated workers. This location has a great selection of clothing and each section is always very organized. I'm a sucker for sales so to avoid the crowds this location is my go to especially since my BFF lives across the street. I just wish the customer service was better. read more

This review is for the mens custom suit department. Based on reviews of other stores in the area we tried Dillards. Other needed a suit and figured it would be a nice place to start. He wanted something properly fitted, not too trendy and not too grandfather. Jeffery was the gentleman who helped us out. I will say this, Dillards has a VERY large selection of suits in the $1200 range but our budget had us looking in the $400-500 range. Jeff gave us a couple options in our price range. After picking the suit he then offered shirt and tie options. My other looks great! I have never seen in a suit in the two years we have been together. read more

SO NOT READY TO PLAY TODAY! I was super disappointed with Dillard's today. First of all they did not open until 10:00 which should be illegal during Black Friday weekend. Then, they had a poor selection of shoes in the shoe department. I decide to go up to the women's department and NOTHING!! They were poorly stocked and the sales were lackluster. Had to buy a quick shirt in an wardrobe emergency. I thought Dillards was comparable to Macy's, or atleast the one in the burbs is. Very overpriced and there was no staff anywhere in sight. Since we were in a hurry, we caved and spent $80 on a shirt that could have been bought elsewhere for about $20. The whole store is over priced. There were no sales or coupons. They are more expensive than their Mall of Georgia store and way more expensive than Macy's. I will not be coming back. read more

I decided to stop here while visiting from Alabama, my son is getting married in a few months and I thought I may be able to find something to wear. I had my other two teenage sons with me and thought I may be able to find something for them as well. While I was browsing the shoe and jewelry counter i had them go sit in the empty chairs in the mens department because we were going to look at some suits when I finished looking at the shoes. While they were there waiting and minding their own business without being disrespectful or even talking, a sales representative by the name of Lilly Foster came over and told them they had to leave, because that the area was for a certain type of customer and they may run them away. She pointed to the shoes and told them that the shoe department was over there. When she realized they were with me she told me the same that it was for certain type of customers. I decided to leave instead of continuing to shop because it was very clear that my money wasnt good enough to be spent there. She was very very rude. I shared my experience with there corporate office and was told they will contact the store manager. I'm pretty sure he/she won't do anything about it. read more

Went there yesterday not expecting to find anything, since I'm usually a 28 waist. After about 20 minutes of fruitless searching, Jason Mann (in sales) decided to assist me. He's got a great knowledge of the clothes, to the point where he even pulled a couple 30's that (almost) fit, and ended up getting me a 29 that was perfect! (along with a few shirts, which I didn't expect to find either. Oh, also yay for the sale going on right now. I didn't intend to buy that day, but the sale put things into my price range. read more

Dillard's has a large selection, and I have found the service here great. Parking is abundant below Atlantic Station, so don't fight for street parking. Refreshing AC during the summer, and leather chairs around for when your wife is shopping and you want to enjoy the AC. Looked through the negative reviews, all were basically "too busy" or "out of stock" about an item. Get a life folks, if that is your complaint, switch to Amazon. read more

WORST retails salespeople ever. Last night I was in a tizzy, trying to find the correct bra for a summer dress. Girls, we all know how important a little assistance is in this area. I, at least need someone to help me get different sizes when I am in the dressing room. Anyhow, the entire 3rd floor was a ghost-town. At one point, I found myself shouting, "Hello?!" I went to this location 2 times to look for shoes. Thanks to the salesmen there, I've hated both times. Incredibly unhelpful, detached, and/or snooty all rolled into one. Dude, why are you working in the women's shoe section? Perhaps I didn't seem as wealthy as other patrons? I gave it a second go thinking it was a fluke. I have been calling this store for 30 min. now. I called and asked to be directed to the men's department and the operator said not a problem. I called 3 times since then because it would be ringing, someone would pick up, and immediately hang up. I asked to be directed to 2 different departments and then finally just asked to be directed to anyone who can actually pick up the phone. I called later in the day around 8 o'clock knowing it wouldn't be as busy. I then called Dillards at North Point Mall and they picked up within 4 minutes. If you have a huge department store filled with a lot of employees AND a whole floor dedicated to menswear AND you don't pick up the phone for customers what are YOU DOING????? Who doesn't like Dillard's? In the age of dinosaurs, when I was a child, the nicest department store I knew of was Dillard's. It was our special occasion place. Needed nice clothes? Dillard's. Mom's birthday and need to buy a Royal Doulton figurine? Dillard's. So i get a little nostalgic going into a Dillard's these days, and I can still buy something for everyone I know. Extremely poor service. Was in the BCBG section/young women's and the clerk was very inattentive and rude. At one point I asked her for a fitting and she directed me to one on the other side where there was no assistant. I purchased a black formal dress from the BCBG section for a wedding. I did not end up wearing the dress, because I liked one I purchased from Macy's better. When I went to return the dress I NEVER wore, I was accused of wearing it and trying to return it. The sales associate told me they didn't accept returns with stains. The so called 'stains' were from deodorant!! There were no stains. What black clothing doesn't get a little deodorant on it when you try it on?! The sales associate continued to tell me that they wouldn't have sold the dress in that condition. REALLY?! Welp, I'm 1000% sure you did sell it to me in that condition. A manager came over and told me they would refund me for a one time courtesy. WOW, Dillard's. Hands down the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The young lady in the woman's shoe department that rang us up at 9:15pm is awesome, helpful and was glad she helped us. She should move on from shoes to staff training and teach y'all something about customer service. She could have said "we are closed" but instead since we were there, she helped us and made another $200 sale on a pair of boots that took 2 minutes to get, try on and pay for -- thank!!! read more

I was in a rush today to buy a tie for work, and bolted to the men's department. As soon as I found the ties, Daniel was there to assist me. He was very pleasant and helpful. He immediately located what I was looking for and took me to the register. While there, he complimented my beard and gave me a sample of some sort of beard cream. (Which was actually better than what I currently use.) I will be back because of Daniel. What a great employee! Give him a raise. Please. read more

The cosmetics counter did my makeup for free, but I had an allergic reaction to the Osmotics Blue Copper Mist Spray that they used. Without warning the salesperson sprayed my face with the mist. My eyes were red and itchy for the rest of the day. I woke up the next morning with a lot of congestion. I am glad I decided to wait and see before purchasing that product. read more

Terrible customer service. We went in to buy shoes and a tie. They are so unprofessional and flat out rude. We were yelled at from across the store by a guy in the men's department. I asked the women in the tie department if she could help us and she said she had to do some other things, she didn't have time. There was no one else in that department. Then we went to the shoe department and the associates might acknowledge you, but it's a put out if you ask for assistance. So we bought something since getting help was like pulling teeth, well when we got home the shoes didn't work with the outfit. I went back to return them and the manager said the shoes were dirty, the store would never sell shoes that looked like that. Uhhh...I bought them a week ago and they looked like this. Anyway, stay far far away from this location. I've never had such a terrible time with a Dillard's but time and again, Atlantic station Dillard's shows out. read more

This goes to the Shoe Department. Lucky I can't give a negative star here. The employees over at this department are snob or should I say lazy? I was there standing looking for somebody to help me and nobody wanted to. A lady greet me and when I asked her about a pair of shoes and she told me "it should be there" seriously ??? No "Oh let m help you find it" blah blah..so I kept looking and couldn't find it and saw a guy employee and asked him the same thing he just kept walking. Tried on the other side no luck. This is the most laziest employees I've ever encountered. I know the shoes are on sale and you guys doesn't get that much commission but it's not an excuse not to help customer. You guys are not doing anything anyway and even though customer are looking at the sale stuff if you give the good customer service and know how to help they may buy a regular price just because you help them but nope, You're group in one corner or by the register chatting with each other. Who knows what are you guys talking about? Then I saw a lady asked one of the guy employee same thing didn't help her and the lady employee that I once asked wrote something on a piece of paper hand it to the guy like she's saying something bad about the customer that she doesn't want the customer to hear. I know coz they were both looking at the customer after reading it. I think it's time to evaluate your employees at the shoes department Dillards. read more

Man...I go back through my budget and WEEP at all the charges that I have from Dillard's since they opened...I mean I was never a Dillard's fan growing up but there's something about this Dillard's that has me HOOKED! For one, they have a great MAC counter, #2 they have GREAT shoes...OMG I got my favorite red stiletto pumps (in the club) there and I get probably 10 compliments a day whenever I wear them. But the BEST part of the store is the BCBG section upstairs...but here's the secret: Don't STEP OUT of the BCBG area b/c the service level drops down dramatically. You see BCBG rents the space from Dillard's so those are BCBG employees and are held to a higher customer service standard than the Dillard's employees. The BCBG employees are SO friendly and helpful but if you stray into the neighboring sections don't expect a friendly response, any help with the dressing room, or anyone to be at the registers. I limit my Dillards trips to three areas: MAC, Shoes, & BCBG. Otherwise it's just like any other anchor store at any other mall. read more

Dillards! Always loved 'em! Tried out the respectably large lingerie section and I am definitely a fan. Tiffany who seemed to be on loan from anther department was still really helpful with measuring and delivering different options to me in the dressing room. I will never get tired of the Dillards at Atlantic Station- there's always something new to see there. They only lose 1 star- the dressing rooms have these lovely sitting rooms but they are cluttered up with the return racks- all messy with clothing hanging all different ways. Can't they put a screen or something in front of that? Also the dressing rooms look pretty but the doors are damaged and don't lock properly. Just a couple of small things that can easily be overlooked but I sure wish they could handle the small details -it would just add to the "spoil yourself" feel of the store. read more

Terrible place to shop. Cosmetics manager is RUDE when speaking to customers, and overall morale of associates seems to be very low.

Just tried to return a rug that i bought at perimeter Dillards and the sales person advised the manager to come out and explain to me why they couldn't return the rug. She said it was because they didn't sell that merchandise. It is an Ugg sheep skin rug and they had an ugg blanket on one of the bed displays. The sales person already told me he sold the same rug but in another color. The manager said she couldn't take it back because i got it from another dillards and would have to go there to do the return. Her name was Karen Something. Sad that their customer service has gone down this much. Never heard of this before and their return policy doesn't say this is the case. Will never shop there again. Sad. read more
