I called Paul on Friday late afternoon to see if we could schedule an appointment to tune up and reconfigure my 12 year old Mitsubishi 65" projection T.V. Paul scheduled an appointment the next day between 1 and 3 p.m. which worked out great for my schedule. Paul called at 1 p.m. to confirm that we were still on and showed up 30 minutes later. Brought in two TVs last week and the employee said they will let us know as soon as possible. Two days later they said what the problem was and told us the pricing of the two TVs. One was $125 and the other was $145. That's like a combination of getting an average tv. Got both the TVs back today and look like they weren't broken. One was that the lights inside the TV went out and the other was the power supply line. I would say it was worth going here because the price is fair and the TVs are working okay. Also it is a lesson-learn to be careful with our TVs. But if there is any problems with your TV, they will accept any model, no matter how old or new. They will say if it is repairable or not. It is worth knowing if it can be repairable with a reasonable, fair price. read more

I have to say I am impressed with the service I received. Last week on Friday evening I called this business and thought no one was going to answer like other businesses I called. My plasma had gone black with lines. I wanted to schedule a service call for a repair man to come out and look at my tv in my kitchen. The man said there was Sunday appointment available,I was like really?! Great!! My only day off,perfect time to take care of business. Only $45 service fee. I said great and he asked me the problem and told him about my screen turning black and the lines. He said by My experience I want you to save your money and not pay me to go out there. Your screen is broken and it will cost more money to repair it than your tv is worth. I was like wow. The man said I can sell you a tv starting at $100 and up. Sunday appointments only. We ended up going during the weekday finally. We found a nice tv for a fraction of the price of anew one,only spent $195.00 for a nice Samsung. Receive a 90 Day warranty on it. I appreciate Honesty. Will support small businesses and as local as Stanislaus County. Will definitely let my friends and family know. read more

My samsung led tv started to skip channels and one of the side buttons was stuck. I decided to see how much it would cost to repair it since the picture and sound was still good. Dropped my tv off at these guys on a Saturday. I received a call on Wednesday telling me that the main board inside of the tv needed to be replaced and it would cost me $225, because they had to get the part from Samsung only. I told the guy I would think about it and call back. He replied when you call back we might have a better price. That right there rubbed me wrong. I called back and they now told me $195 to fix. So I picked my tv up, dropped it off at Walts tv repair in San Leandro. They also do free estimates. Let me add that while at the new shop we turned the tv on and there now is a black line down the side of the screen that was never there before taking the tv to these guys. I got a call the very next day and he said the input buttons only needed to be replaced and your TV is ready now for $80. Use these guys if you like paying crooks! read more

This is a very professional business. Paul is very courteous and helpful. Paul arrived right on time and the problem was diagnosed and repaired in less than half an hour. This is the second time we had the same part replaced but the first time we used Digitech. Not only was the repair completed the same day but we paid $150 less than the first repair. I had high hopes for this business, but all was thrown away when they never tried to called me on the repair of my TV. Long story short. I brought them a 32" LG flat screen to fix. They quoted me $135 parts and labor and about a week to do the work. They had issues getting the part from LG and were perplexed as to what the problem was. They even went so far to contact the techs at LG and could not resolve the issue. Which is admirable on their behalf. But whats make me write them such a poor review is that they never called me. I was the one who always had to call. I waited weeks (2 weeks at a times) and they never gave me an update as to what was going on. I'd call and get another excuse then wait another two weeks and still no call from. After a Month and a half I gave up. This was a near new TV which had just falling out of the basic warranty but was rarely used. I think they gave their best shot in trying to fix it, but kept a near new TV for parts and components. I felt cheated and cast aside. I mean you take possession of someone TV for repair and never call the customer? All never go back to them. So much for wanting to do local business instead of the store box franchises. Disappointed in Modesto. read more

I'm very pleased with the service and honesty of Digitech Electronics...I had a problem with my oldie but goodie TV It's A 55 inch Mitsubishi projector HD it just would not turn on so, I search thru the internet for a service repairman and out of the three companys I took a chance on Digitech and the gentleman (Paul) came out to my home and took a look at my TV and searched the trouble code that came out it which lead to the problem and with a couple of questions that I ask him,was my TV worth repairing being so Old? Pauls response was yes after I repair your parts and clean your TV it's going to look good and even better then when I purchase it!!!!
