Today I placed an online order and used the advertised 15% off code. Woohoo! I completed my order and immediately got a call from the store informing me they were not participating in the discount, but they would offer the online 10% discount. I was told to cancel and re-place my order using the 10% off. OK. That stinks but the fine print did say "participating stores." I informed them that I did not have the ability to cancel my order so someone else called back to tell me she could cancel my order on their end and I could reorder, but she didn't know the 10% off code and I couldn't find it. I asked if it could be applied if I just came to the store. She said they could only do 5% if I was military! My niceness wore off and I said, "I find it hard to believe that after the inconvenience of not offering the advertised discount that you can't manually give me 10% off." She she'd she would try and figure it out. My son went in to get the batteries and received the 10% off and they were very kind to him. But seriously, there should be a way to opt out of the 15% online offer and also I should not have had to lose my temper to get the 10%. I will be back to this location. Already having a bad experience with this place. So I waited for them to order the new screen and I took it in a couple days later when the screen arrived. I was told it would be ready in 1&1/2 to 2 hrs. It wasn't!! Grrr... So I have to leave and go back the next day. Was told it was fixed and good to go. It wasn't!!! Ugh!!!! While my card was being run for payment I was checking out my new screen and home button. Nothing was working. It was worse off then when I took it in. I asked the guy running my card if they even tested it before calling me to tell me it was fixed. He seemed clueless. So he calls over his manager ( this guy is the manager? Oh good Lord protect my iPad) Lol.. Manager tells me they will take the screen back off and try to reposition the cable behind the screen. Well that didn't work so now I'm having to wait for a new screen and being that this happened on Friday before a holiday weekend (July 4th) it will be Tuesday before they can get it replaced. I will continue this tomorrow when (and if) I get to go pick my iPad up. All I can say is I'm not going to be as nice if it is in worse condition than when I took it to them once again.
