I knew immediately that it was Ky Junk Ninja and my credit card company confirmed it. I sent a text to this guy letting him know that I was aware of his attempted fraudulent transactions and at that time he reversed one transaction immediately. The card company was able to catch and decline the other online fraudulent transaction. Thank goodness I have Life Lock they also intervened the transactions. It's sad, you can't trust some people. Brandon (the owner) was exceptionally communicative and helpful, and he answered every single time that we called. Brandon came to our apartment and did an assessment of what was needed for our move. The day of the move, the team of four (Jeremiah, Andrew, Dustin, and Alain) arrived on time and got straight to work. They were very punctual, respectful, careful, hard-working, communicative, polite, and they were all around a great moving team. The team knew how to work together effectively. I could tell this team was well-trained and each person had a specific role that made the day run smoothly, which was beneficial as we had a TON of stuff and were moving from a third-floor apartment. The team took a very short lunch break, but they were there to work and never lollygagged. Jeremiah and Andrew from the original team drove the 9 hours and moved everything into my new place. They were again timely and very communicative about their arrival. In addition to their care for my personal belongings, they took the time to ensure the furniture was placed exactly where I wanted and even let me try a few different configurations in the bedroom. They were GREAT guys and I enjoyed having conversations with them throughout the move process. They were very personable and while the whole team was fantastic, they were clearly the team leaders. One of Pack Mule Movers biggest strengths include their disassembly and reassembly of furniture items. I am VERY type A person and have never trusted movers to take apart furniture, then store/transport tiny screws, and put furniture items back together. I quickly realized Jeremiah's system was very organized. He knew exactly where everything was whenever it came to reassembly at the new location. It was amazingly STRESS FREE on my end. There are three miniscule inconveniences that I faced throughout the move. The biggest downside was to avoid an additional fee, payment was limited to apps (Zelle, Cashapp, and Venmo). This made it harder for me to navigate; however, Brandon was very understanding with the issues I had making the deposit. The second challenge was how fast the moving team departed to get to my new place. Traveling 9 hours by myself was difficult in the time they proposed; however, they were very flexible, and we worked out an alternate timeline that allowed me to get some sleep. The final small unfortunate issue was the front glass pane on my curio was cracked during transit; however, Brandon offered a very fair refund for me to have the glass repaired. All of my other belongings arrived in great condition. All in all, I have dealt with many terrible movers, but that was not my experience with Pack Mule Moving and I would absolutely use them again. They may be more expensive than other movers in the area, but they are absolutely worth the extra cost.

Marsha came out the next day to take a look at our deck and house, she had a quote to us within a few hours. I was able to review the work I was having done and accept the quote all online. Then a few days later they contacted via text and email to let me know when they were coming to start the job. I received a text when the guys were coming on the first day, it had a link that let me know when they would get there, when they expected to be finished the workers name and a picture of the worker.This was great, loved being in the loop and knowing who to expect at my house. First day they power washed the house and the deck using dog friendly chemicals I might add. It looked fantastic!!! Like a brand new house and deck. I was amazed because our deck was in rough shape, I didn't think it would ever look that good again. We were supposed to have the deck stained a few days later but due to moister in the wood and the rain from Ida the staining was delayed by a week but to no fault of Garrett's. When they were able to come out to stain I got the same notification as I did the first day. The crew was at our house all day! The crew was very hard working and nice. They cleaned up all their mess and more importantly they kept the paint spatter on the patio below to a minimum. Last but probably most importantly I'd like to point out that every time someone from Garrett's was on our property and went through our gate that they made sure to shut it behind them. I know this doesn't sound like a lot but our gate is not in the best shape and requires two bungee cords. Each time they not only shut the gate but put the cords back on, even when I had left the gate open before they got there. It's a small thing but it means so much to me. It makes me really sad to be writing this review. During the huge April 2025 rainstorms (review…read morewritten in March 2026) this company was recommended to us by our insurance agent when we had some flooding in our basement and we needed mitigation. Our experience started out great but then turned into a nightmare. When we first called, I really appreciated the sense of urgency that they worked with. They came right away and were able to rip up the carpet and the drywall as needed to get the space dried up. This is the extent of my positive experience with them. We offered them the reconstruction project, asking if they could work with the remainder of the insurance money we had, with some flexibility as needed. Since I was so grateful for the work they did on the mitigation, I told them to not worry about the timeline, that we wouldn't rush them. This came back to bite me hard, since all the employees that were sent a) did a laughably mediocre job, b) were crying, demanding to be paid in full when the work was nowhere near done, c) were incapable of accurately communicating when they would be over to do work, causing me to miss meetings and medical appointment while I sat at home waiting for them to not show up. This entire saga dragged on for literally nine months, and all of this was while I was pregnant. I understand I gave flexibility with timing, and some with budget, but nine months of empty promises and blowing the budget with BS rework is unreasonable by any standard. The business owner, for months, repeatedly apologized and promise to make it right. I understand some of the circumstances were out of his control, but again, 9+ months of dragging out a simple drywall and flooring project for us who has given them all the grace in the world is disappointing and unacceptable. It ended with me texting him to just forget about everything, that we will learn our lesson, take our fat L, and just hire someone reliable. It was upsetting, frustrating, but fitting that this last message didn't get a reply or an acknowledgment.
